About: Hi, I'm Jenn! Having six years of experience as a vet tech, six years of experience caring for pets professionally, and caring for my personal furry companions animals for over 6o years, I bring an exceptional blend of experience, care, and responsibility to my pet care. I have a huge heart for cats and dogs and love to see them happy in their environment. My sensitive nature allows me to be highly attuned to animals and their needs. Others have often commented on my ability to anticipate the needs of people and animals before they are aware of them. I believe in the health and wellbeing of all living things. When your animal is under my care, you can be assured they are receiving the nurturing and care they deserve. I am available for walking, visits, boarding, and more. Please inquire for your particular needs and desires for your pet in your absence. I would be happy to keep your pet loved and safe while you are away. Injections, special needs, training/rehabilitation I am in a very open and expansive time currently in life. I am widely available round the clock for your pets needs. I am available daytime, evenings, and weekends. I do not have a fenced yard on the property I live on in the country, so when boarding with me, dogs will be on leash when outdoors. They will enjoy the many walks they will have around here. When at your home, I take care of your fur baby and belongs with the utmost respect and safety.

Mámoo is absolutely wonderful with Kato (my high-energy female husky). It’s easy to see the care and enthusiasm they bring to every visit. Kato gets excited as soon as she sees them. Mámoo plays, runs, and engages with her in a way that matches her energy. It’s clear they enjoy spending time together. I am confident Kato is in such loving hands and capable hands.

About: I’ve taken care of neighbors’ and family members’ pets since I was little, and been a reliable and trustworthy caretaker. I have been caring for dogs for five years, including elderly, deaf, and blind dogs. I understand the nuance to earning trust of shy or elderly pets. I have always loved animals and I have repeat clients that find me reliable and loved by their pets. My schedule is very open right now, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets and give them the attention and love they deserve. I have pets of my own at my home where I live with my parents, so I will care for your pets in your home, either staying at the house or doing drop-ins. I am clean and respectful and I love spending time with animals, respecting and getting to know them on their terms.

About: I’ve dog sat for the past 3 years and have also volunteered at the animal shelter in my home town for 2 years. My family and I have fostered lots of dogs at our house, so I am very used to meeting new dogs and making them feel at home. I’m currently in college so my availability isn’t super open but whenever I am free I would love to spend my free times with animals. I have a fenced yard and 3 dogs at home. We foster dogs all the time so I am super used to new dogs and making them feel safe and comfortable.

I usually have a routine with my senior puppies, therefore creating one that suits your dog's needs will be no problem at all! I'm flexible at the moment since it's summertime. About: I’m back! I took a hiatus for a few years to raise two babies and now I’m on the job to make your pup smile! I have had dogs my whole life and devastatingly our last two pups passed through the rainbow bridge in 2024. My family still has room in our heart and our house for for your dog(s), so boarding and dog sitting is now our passion. I would love to share my love and energy by walking/running/playing with your dog(s). My dog home used to be filled with three energetic dogs with which I ran daily. I have no problem with running/walking larger or smaller breeds. I have owned and loved dogs of all ages and sizes and respect and understand that they have different needs and temperaments. I have free time durning the day to spend with your dog so please contact me if you have any questions and I look forward to meeting you and your four legged children. I currently have two school-age children, so morning and midday is perfect for me to walk/run/play with your dog or animal. I am also available early morning and evening for walks, runs, and drop and visits. We have a fenced in concrete area and grass on the outside. We have 2 acres of land, so plenty of space for fetch and outside play. We have a medium size crate, if needed. And we have two six year old girls, who would love to be friends.

About: I have experience with pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the past year along with having had all different breeds of dogs growing up and enjoy their company. I love to go for walks, hikes, the beach and would love to take your dog with me. I've had to give senior dogs medication and look after them. I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your fur baby when your away and I'm that person and I will treat them like royalty. I am home everyday at 12:00. My husband works from home so one of us is always home with your dog. I am ready when I get home to take your dog with me on a walk or hike. Your dog will have access to a dog run area all day long and a large backyard when we are home. I have a house with a large fenced in yard and your dog will have complete access to outside at all times. At this time I don't have a dog of my own, so there will be no conflict between dogs. I want your dog to feel at home as much possible.

Nora is a GIFT! About a year ago my now 14 year-old cat Riley abruptly lost a significant amount of weight and bloodwork showed some kind of significant liver event though nothing was evident in an XRAY or ultrasound. He was prescribed two ongoing medications to support his liver & reduce inflammation; a small pill that needs to absorb during a fast (no food for 2 hours before and 1 hour after) and a liquid medication that needs to be given with food. In addition to the with/without food medications complexity, successfully pilling a cat every day requires a deft hand—pretty straightforward for someone who’s good at it, increasingly difficult each day for anyone who isn’t. Add to the equation both Riley and his brother Ash are initially shy with strangers. All things considered to me the situation seemed like a complicated ask for a pet sitter, so over the past year I hadn’t gone away on any trips longer than 2-3 days. In the face of a terminal illness diagnosis in my direct family I came to terms with having to hope for the best using a pet sitter for an 8 day family vacation though I was very concerned about how Riley would be affected by the extended change in routine. Enter Nora; highly intelligent, highly *attuned* (to the pets & the people), instantly trustworthy, and very gracious, a rare combination of total professionalism & grounded compassion. Though Nora was only here for about an hour each day her presence *visibly improved* Riley’s health. I didn’t know it was possible to come home from being away for 8 days to find Riley noticeably fluffier and more energetic than when I left, but that’s the magic that unfolded under Nora’s care. She also sent me pictures of Riley and Ash every day and let me know how they were each doing, sharing her sophisticated curiosity & creativity getting Riley to eat more and Ash to gradually come out of his shyness with clear warmth towards both of them. It’s extremely clear Nora *truly cares* and is keenly observant and exceptionally competent, a combination that made it possible for me to relax so much more on my trip. I’m very grateful to have found her. Thank YOU so much Nora. TBC 💗🐈🐈‍⬛🧘‍♀️

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
