“Dante can be very shy and anxious- Kimberly and her fiance are very understanding of this and dont push him to socialize with other dogs if hes feeling that way. They let him be a couch potato and follow them around to hang out- absolutely wonderful care for my four-legged baby.”
“Susie was very informative, responsive and kind. She sent lots of pictures and updates which helped feeling comfortable with a new sitter for my grandpup. Milo was very well taken care of and we already have her booked for upcoming dates. I strongly recommend her to sit, walk or care for your pet.”

“Nancy and her husband welcomed our dog with open arms. She responded very quickly to our request and we were able to set up a meet and greet that same night. She took very good care of our fur baby Chloe. We got pictures and updates every day. She was very flexible with the pick up and drop off times, which is a ++. We will definitely use her service again. She is highly recommended.”

“We couldn’t be more grateful for Shannon! It was our dog’s first time staying with someone other than family and we were very nervous about leaving our dog Luna in someone’s care especially for a week but Shannon was absolutely wonderful. She did an amazing job at keeping us updated and sending us pictures regularly. We were especially grateful that she was willing to accommodate our dog’s needs by being the only dog in the house since Luna isn’t always the best around other pets. Shannon and her husband gave so much love and attention to our dog and we are really excited that we have found someone that we trust and feel very comfortable leaving Luna in their care in the future.”

“Teresa was so kind and energetic. She sent us pictures of Otoro the whole time we were gone - he went to walks and hikes and played and came back tired (in the best way!) I will definitely be booking with Teresa again the next time we are looking for someone to hang out with Otoro!”

“Elizabeth and Coco were so welcoming to Rocky. I appreciate Elizabeth's flexibility in watching Rocky while I attended a wedding nearby. She was in regular communication about how Rocky adjusted, and sent pics of her cuddling with both dogs. She took great care of my little guy. She lives in a beautiful beach home.”

“Anyi was very kind! She send me pictures every day and was quick responding to messages. I appreciated her flexibility for drop off and pick up, especially since we got delayed for pick up.”

“We are so lucky anytime we can leave our dog Juni with Tyler! She’s so responsive and sweet and takes great care of Juni. I feel like our dog is in safe hands which is a huge relief when we are leaving town. will def book again!”

“I am so excited to have found Kara! Finding a great dog sitter who is comfortable taking my 100 lbs. Newfie mix is no easy feat, let alone one that is local to the SC Mountains! My Leeloo was absolutely spoiled with daily pack hikes in the redwoods and lots of puppy rumbles. Kara even helped work on her off-leash recall! She shared daily videos of their redwood romps and I picked up a very happy, very tired pup. We will definitely be booking with Kara whenever we can't bring our pups with us on trips.”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Scotts Valley
Anne was wonderful with our 2 ½ year old golden while we visited the area for a wedding. Did a brief meet-and-greet, and when things seemed good, we dropped Estes off the next day en route to the event. We booked overnight boarding, but Anne was flexible and allowed us to stop by for pick up after 9 pm. During her short stay Estes had two good walks, lots of play at home, dinner, and a rest ! Whew. Thanks

Marta took wonderful care of our dog while we were out of the country for one week. He experienced a health issue when we were away, and Marta handled it with careful attention. She worked hard to make sure our boy was comfortable and at ease. She administered medication with confidence and communicated clearly with us as to how he was doing each day. I am thankful that we found Marta and recommend her to anyone looking for a capable, kind, dog-loving caretaker.
Shannon and her family were amazing! My nervous dog took to them right away, and I don’t think he wanted to leave them at the end of his stay. You could tell they really cared and took the time to get to know him and his quirks. Shannon was communicative and provided a lot of updates and photos. My mind was at ease during the entirety of the stay. Would definitely recommend Shannon, and will book with her in the future!

Bianca was super flexible and patience with my dogs. We had two dogs that don’t get along well with one another and she graciously was willing to host both dogs. The dogs came back happy and slept as soon as they came home! My dogs have never been officially dog sat before so she made us feel comfortable and at ease while she was dog sitting. Highly recommend booking with her!

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter. From the start, communication was excellent, and we felt completely at ease leaving our dog in their care. They provided updates, followed all instructions, and gave our dog plenty of attention and love. It was clear our dog was happy and comfortable. We will absolutely book again and highly recommend them.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
