“Shannon was a great dog sitter. She had a bed ready for Nessie and made sure she had every comfort. She also sent regular updates and photos for us. We're certain Nessie had a wonderful stay!”

“Nancy and her husband Lance were amazing. They accommodated our late arrival and were so welcoming to us and Cheech. They took such good care of Cheech on his visit. Great communication and overall awesome couple. Highly recommended. Cheech was spoiled. Thank you, Nancy!”

“Angelika did a great job watching my dog, Fawn! Throughout the process of watching her she sent me updated pictures of how Fawn was doing when staying at her place, and was flexible about the drop off/pick up time! I’d recommend Angelika to others who are looking for somewhere for their doggie to stay while they’re on a vacation or what not. :)”

“Marta took wonderful care of our dog while we were out of the country for one week. He experienced a health issue when we were away, and Marta handled it with careful attention. She worked hard to make sure our boy was comfortable and at ease. She administered medication with confidence and communicated clearly with us as to how he was doing each day. I am thankful that we found Marta and recommend her to anyone looking for a capable, kind, dog-loving caretaker.”
“We arrived for a trip to Santa Cruz and found out our Roz was not allowed at the hotel due to her size. We started searching local pet hospitals, dog walkers, boarding facilities and the only place that could take her was all the way back in Santa Clara. As a last resort we checked Rover and Meghan came through for us. In the end Roz probably had as much fun as we did with her new friends during our weekend in Santa Cruz. Thanks Meghan!”

About: I have loved animals my entire life. Throughout college and high school, I worked as a dog walker for Wag and a kennel attendant at the local vet. I currently work on boats and do this in the off-season or when things are slow. I love spending time with animals and will treat your baby like one of my own, with lots of walks, cuddles, and attention. If you have more questions please reach out :) I work on boats and my schedule varies. I typically update my calendar to reflect that. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions :) I am more than happy to watch your pets in your home. I rent so I need to get approval from my landlords before taking requests in my own home
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for 30 years. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. My own dogs have graduated top of their class in puppy training school. I currently work from home, so I can arrange my schedule to make sure dogs in my care get all the love, affection, and attention they need and deserve. I have a small fenced in yard, good for small and medium dogs. My dog is friendly and even shares some toys. I can crate your dog if preferred. I am also within walking distance to a dog park, and an easy drive to dog beaches
“Valentina and her crew (her kids and three little dog ladies) watched over my 17 year old Jack Russell Terrier Malcolm. My guy has moderate canine dementia with separation anxiety but he was completely fine with his new buds. I am grateful this worked out so well as I'll do anything to make sure Malcolm is content which was the case under Valentina's loving care.”

About: I grew up caring for my golden doodle and have loved dogs ever since! I love being around dogs and will often dog sit or help friends walk their dogs when they’re not able to. I spend a lot of time outdoors so I would be more than happy to take your dog out for long walks and in any environment they enjoy being in. Please get in touch if you have more questions about my experience! I have a flexible schedule now until October so I can take care of your dog at any time that is convenient for you. I am available for daily walks and boarding if you need it! I am all about communication and learning what works best for your dog so I can provide the best care possible. I want to know the ground rules and what you’re comfortable with to ensure you furry friend is happy.
“Barbie and her son were a godsend for our sweet pup! We could tell our dog had a great time and we really appreciated the amazing communication/photos. He went on multiple walks (which he loves) and enjoyed the comfortable and beautiful space. Thank you for the thoughtful care!”

“Dusty loves staying with Leo! He has a great setup for our separation anxiety pup. Easy to coordinate logistics of drop off and pick up, and sent us updates as needed. Dusty came home happy and healthy.”

“Zonic was well looked after by Madhumita, she would update me with photos and sometimes video clips of Zonic every morning. I highly recommend Madhumita as she is a caring and detail person.”

“Cynthia was a wonderful sitter for my Esta girl. We had a meet & greet before hand. She was friendly & lovely. She was flexible with drop off and pick up times. She communicated & sent pictures during our trip. We will definitely rebook soon!”

“Kathleen and her family are an absolute dream! Our puppy was so well cared for, getting lots of love and exercise. Kathleen sent pictures and updates often. I could immediately tell our dog had a great time with Kathleen. I would recommend Kathleen over and over, and we can’t wait to continue having Kathleen in our lives.”

“Susie was very informative, responsive and kind. She sent lots of pictures and updates which helped feeling comfortable with a new sitter for my grandpup. Milo was very well taken care of and we already have her booked for upcoming dates. I strongly recommend her to sit, walk or care for your pet.”

“I couldn't be there for the hand-off and pick-up of my dog, but Coleman worked with our friend to make sure Indy made it to and from his care easily. We got daily pictures, he put up with my frequent texts asking about Indy, and Indy got some good exercise and I could tell was the recipient of lots of attention!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Hermon
Lisbeth agreed to watch my babies on short notice for me. I’m was traveling to Scott’s Valley for a wedding and needed a last minute sitter. She had a cute little place with a yard and sent me some pics of my babies happily laying in bed with her. They both seemed very comfortable with her and were very happy when I picked them up. It was wonderful to know by little girls were safe. I will definitely book Lisbeth again when I travel to the area.

Anne was wonderful with our 2 ½ year old golden while we visited the area for a wedding. Did a brief meet-and-greet, and when things seemed good, we dropped Estes off the next day en route to the event. We booked overnight boarding, but Anne was flexible and allowed us to stop by for pick up after 9 pm. During her short stay Estes had two good walks, lots of play at home, dinner, and a rest ! Whew. Thanks

Kathleen and her family were the perfect pet sitters for my dog. She was super friendly and communicative throughout the whole process, keeping me up to date on everything and sending me lots of cute photos. My dog has lots of energy and she made sure to take him on long runs and walks every day! He loved her, and I felt happy knowing that my dog was being so well taken care of.
