He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. “Yoona, Minjae, and their sweet pup Buddy were absolutely wonderful hosts for my Bichon, Teo. This was Teo’s first stay outside the care of a family member, but from our very first meeting in Yoona and Minjae’s clean, welcoming home, I felt completely at ease knowing he would be in the best hands. Teo was comfortable with them right away, and the photos and videos they shared throughout his stay showed just how happy he was - enjoying plenty of walks, enrichment, and feeling truly included as part of their pack. It was clear that Teo received so much love and attention; he was affectionate with Yoona and Minjae and was genuinely treated like a member of their family. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and they were incredibly responsive and flexible with scheduling. The entire process was seamless, and Teo was calm and confident being left in their care. I couldn’t recommend Yoona and Minjae more highly, and know that Teo would be thrilled to return for future daycare or boarding stays.”

About: We are Liel and Nadav, a mom-and-dad team, parents to two young children, and a very sweet 10-year-old mini poodle named Freddie. Our whole family genuinely loves dogs, and we’re excited to welcome additional furry friends into our home! We both have a lifetime of experience with dogs, having grown up with dogs and cared for them throughout our lives. Liel has also raised and trained a Seeing Eye dog puppy and regularly sat for other Seeing Eye dogs. While we’re new to Rover, we’re not new to dog boarding - we’ve been welcoming dogs into our home through our local community for the past few years, and are now expanding to Rover. We have plenty of experience caring for small to medium-sized, family-friendly dogs in our home. Your dog will be treated like part of our family, with lots of cuddles, frequent walks, playtime, and plenty of love! We understand how hard it is to leave your pet behind. We’re happy to keep you updated during your dog’s stay so you won't have to worry or wonder how they're doing. Liel loves photography, so you can expect beautiful photo updates of your pup enjoying their vacation ;) We host only one to two small to medium-sized dogs at a time, so your dog will receive plenty of attention and care. We look forward to meeting you and your dog and welcoming them into our home! Nadav is a stay-at-home dad, and Liel works partially from home, so at least one of us is home for most of the day. Our daily routine includes several walks, play, and lots of time relaxing at home, so your dog will have consistent attention and care throughout the day. We live in a cozy apartment with our two young children (ages 2.5 and 6) and a small senior poodle dog. To make sure everyone stays safe and happy, we can only accept dogs who are friendly with toddlers and small dogs. We can’t host dogs with aggression or resource-guarding issues (food/toys). We supervise all interactions between our kids and guest dogs and make sure visiting pups have plenty of calm, safe space. Our guest dogs' routine is important to us and we want to make their stay feel as much like home as possible. Whether your dog prefers a crate or a soft bed, sleeps in your room, needs multiple short walks, or has specific feeding or medication instructions, we will follow your lead. We look forward to meeting you and your dog, and welcoming them into our home and family!
