“It was my dog’s first time boarding, so he started anxious. But Sofiya took care of him wonderfully, I think he left with good memory!! Also, thank you for pictures of Sammy with big smile 😊”

“Absolutely amazing! Sent updates regularly and my dog was exceptionally happy being there. Place is great for running around and all dogs are happy being there. Strongly recommend!”

“I have had Joyce watch my chihuahua multiple times and her and her family always do a great job watching my dog! They are great at playing with her, feeding, cuddling, and giving her medication. 10/10 recommend!”

“Our pet was well taken care of. He seemed happy. He had lots of place to run around since they have a nice backyard. It was his first time socializing and boarding with other dogs and they made sure he was fine with all. Our pet didn't seem like he wanted to come back when we went to pick him up 😂 he surely misses his stay with them. I would 100 % recommend anyone to board your pets here. Nice and very clean place too. Norelvis and her husband is very kind and understanding. Great human beings!”

“Kara is amazing and took such good care of my two pups and truly provided them with their own vacation while I took mine. Kara is a dog lover and will take very good care of your animals and give them a truly unique experience of enjoying a pack and having an adventure. She sent pictures and videos every day enjoying adventures in Boulder Creek with other dogs. They got to go on hikes and swim and she took time to work with my littlest one teaching him how to be braver as he is a bit shy. I will definitely be taking my pups to her again in the future. Thank you Kara!”

“Zonic was well looked after by Madhumita, she would update me with photos and sometimes video clips of Zonic every morning. I highly recommend Madhumita as she is a caring and detail person.”

“I was in a pinch and needed a dog sitter for my puppy Coconut last minute and I am so grateful to have found Christy and Cornell. My puppy had an amazing time staying with them and I couldn’t be more grateful the exceptional care and love they gave her. Highly recommend!”

“Steve loves dogs and is very experienced caring for them and making them feel comfortable away from home. Our large Shepherd/Rottie mix was well taking care off during a weeklong stay with daily walks and lots of playtime. It was clear from the many photos that he was having a great time, allowing us the peace and mind to enjoy our trip. Fantastic sitter - would absolutely recommend !”

“I would highly recommend Anusha as a pet sitter! She took care of my doggie while I was on vacation with my family and I didn't have to worry about a thing. She sent us a lot of pictures, videos, and regular updates that made me feel at ease that my doggie was in great hands and enjoying himself. She was able to cater to my dog's specific personality and make him feel at home which I truly appreciate.”

“Svetlana did an amazing job taking care of my dog. It is a senior dog and it has been his first experience of being left with a dog-sitter. Svetlana was able to make him feel secure and taken care of like at home. She did a lot of extra for him like walking him a lot during his stay to feel him less anxious. I would definitely recommend Svetlana as a really trustworthy and caring dog-sitter.”

“Amelia is wonderful! We were so happy to be able to be away and know that she's taking good care of our pup. The fact that our anxious little dog loves her says it all.”

“I was lucky to find Michelle and Michael. My dog is young golden retriever with high energy. Michelle and Michael gave my dog plenty of cuddles and attention. They gave my dog long walk and played fetch with him. Michelle sent me updates frequently that helped relieve my separation anxiety. I couldn't be happier to have my dog stay with Michelle and Michael, who are really nice and caring people.”

“Everything went so well starting from our meet and greet, to communication before the sitting, and pickup. Theo looked happy and did his trusting belly side up sleeping in pics she sent. So I felt very relieved knowing he was happy and trusting. Theo lines to sleep in a bed and I was so happy that they let him sleep with whoever he wanted. That is love!”

About: Experienced dog owner and sitter. Studied dog psychology to become a good dog parent. Had two female spaniels who passed earlier this year. We used to compete in dog frisbee and hunt. Also have experience working in a grooming salon, as well as walking and boarding various size dogs - from labs and German shepherds to Jack Russel terriers and mini Aussies. Additionally at no cost I can provide basic behavioural training and teach new tricks - I love to communicate with dogs of any breed and move in one rhythm with them. And I really feel their needs and able to connect with dogs of all ages. I can board puppies and older dogs, take them for a walk someplace new and play ball or frisbee. But safety and well-being is my main focus and if your dog doesn't want too much activity, I can provide a more mellow experience, too. Available on weekdays and weekends but please make appointments at least 2 days in advance. I would love to meet your furry friend! I'm working remotely from home part-time, so have lots of time to spend with doggies. I'm available both weekends and weekdays and rarely leave home for more than a couple hours, so your dog won't be alone for too long. I have a fenced backyard and deck, and two mellow spaniels to keep your doggo company. I also have a crate where your pet can rest if needed.
“Juliana took fantastic care of Max and Dora. She made sure they got plenty of walks, and we were so happy to see they had such a great time. We felt so confident leaving them with her and will definitely be back!”

“I am pretty sure Jeter wants to move in with Leah. A friend who usually sits for Jeter had to cancel with less than a week’s notice and I was worried about how he would do with someone new. I definitely didn’t have to worry. Leah’s home is all about the pups with so many beds, blankets and even a warming pad! I got lots of updates which assured me Jeter had made himself right at home (for better or for worse 😆.) Knowing Jeter was happy, safe and loved in Leah’s care gave us huge peace of mind since we were all the way across the country. He even had a little cav companion which was icing on the cake. If you’re looking for a sitter who is probably as obsessed with your dog as you are, is super communicative and offers a plush puppy palace, Leah is your gal!”

“Kinberley was a very welcoming and friendly host with us. She seems great with dogs and pets in general, and our pup seemed to have a great weekend with her and her family. Will definitely ask her for more help in the future!”

“Megha and her husband were awesome. Absolutely no complaints. Very professional and communicative. They have a beautiful backyard for your dog to roam. They gave my senior dog lots of attention and sent many updates with pictures as soon as I left my dog there. I found that extremely comforting because I’ve never left my dog with strangers before. They also let my dog roam around so I never worried that he would be stuck in a crate somewhere. I know my little guy was very comfortable and I would definitely bring Rascal back!”

“Boris and Olga were amazing dog-sitters. They sent me continuous updates and pictures. My dog looked really happy and calm in all. I highly recommend them.”

“I couldn't be there for the hand-off and pick-up of my dog, but Coleman worked with our friend to make sure Indy made it to and from his care easily. We got daily pictures, he put up with my frequent texts asking about Indy, and Indy got some good exercise and I could tell was the recipient of lots of attention!”

Many sitters in CA ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
