“Valentina was so sweet with my little dog Nate (he and I were anxious about leaving one another…). She had some bigger dogs but kept them apart, and slowly introduced the small dogs to him. She told me that Nate even got to watch their pig curiously through the window! You could tell that Valentina both cares and has knowledge on how to manage new pets into her home. I will most definitely return!”

About: Experienced dog owner and sitter. Studied dog psychology to become a good dog parent. Had two female spaniels who passed earlier this year. We used to compete in dog frisbee and hunt. Also have experience working in a grooming salon, as well as walking and boarding various size dogs - from labs and German shepherds to Jack Russel terriers and mini Aussies. Additionally at no cost I can provide basic behavioural training and teach new tricks - I love to communicate with dogs of any breed and move in one rhythm with them. And I really feel their needs and able to connect with dogs of all ages. I can board puppies and older dogs, take them for a walk someplace new and play ball or frisbee. But safety and well-being is my main focus and if your dog doesn't want too much activity, I can provide a more mellow experience, too. Available on weekdays and weekends but please make appointments at least 2 days in advance. I would love to meet your furry friend! I'm working remotely from home part-time, so have lots of time to spend with doggies. I'm available both weekends and weekdays and rarely leave home for more than a couple hours, so your dog won't be alone for too long. I have a fenced backyard and deck, and two mellow spaniels to keep your doggo company. I also have a crate where your pet can rest if needed.
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for 30 years. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. My own dogs have graduated top of their class in puppy training school. I currently work from home, so I can arrange my schedule to make sure dogs in my care get all the love, affection, and attention they need and deserve. I have a small fenced in yard, good for small and medium dogs. My dog is friendly and even shares some toys. I can crate your dog if preferred. I am also within walking distance to a dog park, and an easy drive to dog beaches
“Daniela and Ronan took such good care of Gnocchi as usual. Our pup loves their dogs, they take him on wonderful new adventures and I swear he comes back a little smarter each visit. We couldn’t recommend them more!!!!”

“Highly recommend! It is completely obvious how much Qi loves dogs. She provided incredible peace of mind by sending daily pictures and videos, showing just how attentive she is. She watched soccer games with my dog, which was such a fun, personal touch! I will absolutely be rebooking with her in the future.”

“I couldn't be there for the hand-off and pick-up of my dog, but Coleman worked with our friend to make sure Indy made it to and from his care easily. We got daily pictures, he put up with my frequent texts asking about Indy, and Indy got some good exercise and I could tell was the recipient of lots of attention!”

“We have an 11-month-old puppy who has never been away from us for more than a few hours, so we were understandably nervous. But the moment we went for a meet-and-greet at Joyce’s home, both our puppy and we felt completely at ease. We took a short 3-day trip and left our dog with Joyce, and she and her family took such wonderful care of her. Joyce sent us daily updates and pictures, which really helped put our minds at ease. Before the boarding even began, she took detailed notes about our puppy’s routine, including things like her feeding schedule and even her poop cycle, so that her entire family could be on the same page. If she’s available again, we would absolutely love to have her care for our puppy in the future!”

“I am so glad we chose to board our dog with Shannon! She was very responsive and sent us daily photos of our pup with updates throughout her stay. My dog was very comfortable and felt right at home. She was so happy and attached to Shannon when I picked her up. We will definitely be reaching back out for future dog sitting needs!”

“We are new to rover.com and feel very fortunate to have found Jennifer. She has many years of experience and we felt confident that she knows how to handle any situation. A great communicator, we really appreciated the regular updates. She, her family, her pups and her pup guests were great company for our dog. When we picked him up, he was so calm and relaxed, we knew he was very happy with his stay with Jennifer and her family. We look forward to booking with her again!”

“Hi, I can tell when my dog was not stressed upon return from a boarding experience and our dog, was happy when no the caring hands of Steve and co. I got regular updates and My dog went on long walks and hikes. He had the company of other dogs and behaved in Steve’s presence- him being a trainer himself. Both the parties felt that it was a good fit - before boarding. Will not hesitate to recommend Steve with a glowing 5-stars!”

“Lana (that’s Svetlana’s preferred name) did a great job taking care of my Ziggy for 3 days. He’s got plenty of walking, playtime, and chill time during his stay. Lana was helpful about my need to get Ziggy picked up from my home while I was rushing to an airport. At the end of the dog boarding, she dropped him off at my house as well, which was very convenient! I’m so glad Lana offered this Pick-up & Drop-off option! Highly recommend her as a dog sitter!”

“Mochi had a great weekend stay. She was well entertained by the family and got along well with their dog Eberly. Home with enclosed yard is spacious and safe. We will definitely board again.”

The median cost per night for dog boarding in Brookdale is $70
Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Brookdale
I've had Valentina watch my Corgi multiple times over the last couple of years, so she knows her well. So we'll, that she identified the early signs of a UTI several days into Arya's stay. I contacted my veterinarian and Valentina brought her in the next day for an exam and was started on antibiotics. Within 24 hours, Arya was feeling like herself again! I was so thankful to have peace of mind while me and my family were out of state on vacation. I will always send my pup to Valentina as I know she's in excellent hands always!
