My Leeloo was absolutely spoiled with daily pack hikes in the redwoods and lots of puppy rumbles. Kara even helped work on her off-leash recall! She shared daily videos of their redwood romps and I picked up a very happy, very tired pup. We will definitely be booking with Kara whenever we can't bring our pups with us on trips.”

“Soma boarded our very sensitive, sometimes stubborn dog Kai, at her home for a week and she was amazing. We were in a stressful situation relocating from another state and we needed care for Kai while we managed the move. Finding Soma was truly a blessing and helped ease our stress knowing Kai was in great hands. She was patient and intuitive with his needs. He’s not always great on walks, but she worked with him daily getting him used to the same place. She was also very flexible with timing when we unexpectedly needed another day of care for him. She even offered to drive him home given all of the stress we were under, and that just demonstrates her kindness. Soma gave me multiple updates daily with photos and videos, and followed my instructions. We will for sure use Soma again in the future when we need boarding for Kai. We think it was like a little vacation for him in her beautiful spot in the woods.”

About: I've had dogs most of my adult life and currently have a little Shichon named Ruby. We have a smoke free home with a fenced yard and doggie door. We take our pup out for daily walks. I'm home full time unless I'm working in Canada in the healthcare field and so would need to work around that. I usually work 2-3 weeks every 2 months. We have a fenced yard and lots of trails around for nice long walks. We also go to the beach at least twice a week.

“I am so excited to have found Kara! Finding a great dog sitter who is comfortable taking my 100 lbs. Newfie mix is no easy feat, let alone one that is local to the SC Mountains! My Leeloo was absolutely spoiled with daily pack hikes in the redwoods and lots of puppy rumbles. Kara even helped work on her off-leash recall! She shared daily videos of their redwood romps and I picked up a very happy, very tired pup. We will definitely be booking with Kara whenever we can't bring our pups with us on trips.”

“Norelvis and Chris did a great job watching our pup, Reggie. He's a 7 mo old puppy and this was his first overnight away from home since we adopted him 2 months ago. We booked a meet & greet a week before to get everyone familiar with each other. Their house is very puppy proofed and they have great indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to hang out and play. They even helped Reggie work on some homework exercises for his puppy class he's in (practicing down, stay, leave it, etc). They sent photo and video updates daily. Super smooth experience. We'd definitely book again!”
About: I’ve had dogs in my life for 30 years. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. My own dogs have graduated top of their class in puppy training school. I currently work from home, so I can arrange my schedule to make sure dogs in my care get all the love, affection, and attention they need and deserve. I have a small fenced in yard, good for small and medium dogs. My dog is friendly and even shares some toys. I can crate your dog if preferred. I am also within walking distance to a dog park, and an easy drive to dog beaches

Leaving my senior pup who can't see or hear very well anymore with someone else for a few days is not easy for an anxious dog mom like me, but Diane took such good care of Tippy while we were away. Diane and asked good questions about Tippy's preferences and different needs, and I felt confident I could trust her to take good care of Tippy. She provided great updates with photos and videos, and I could tell Tippy was in good hands and having a great time. She and Diane went on lots of walks, and Diane has a big yard where Tippy could get lots of sniffs (her favorite)!”

He communicated with us throughout the booking and sent us videos of our pups playing. They always looked like they were having a great time! I appreciated that he gave us tips and tricks when we did a meet and greet on how to handle our dog walks more efficiently. He is knowledgeable about dog behavior which also made us feel better.
