About: I've had dogs and cats since I was about 13 years old. I am familiar with the basic care of pets and I'm open to helping with all sorts of things like giving medications since I do have two cats of my own. I have helped close family members with their pets and I'm now open to helping others witb their fur babies! I have a deep love for all animals and I currently work as a receptionist in an animal hospital. I am currently working a part time shift and a mom who has both busy days and some days where I'm very flexible. I am off two-three Fridays a month and my weekends are usually free. I am open to stopping in to check on your baby or bringing them to my place if needed. I have two of my own fur babies but I have the space to keep them seperate and safe is doable. I am respectful of others homes and will be extra careful to keep everyone safe.

About: Hi, I'm Kaila! I am an animal loving college student with a lifetime of experience in pet care. I grew up with a vast array of animals who often were left under my watch. I have taken care of cats, little dogs, big dogs, and bunnies. All sizes and ages of pets are welcome! I have experience with puppy/kitten care, senior care, cats, small dogs, and big dogs! I'm well versed in (lovingly) tricking pets into taking their medication, ensuring they get proper exercise/enrichment, and cleaning up after them. At the moment I am free everyday aside from Sundays from 8-3pm. I am very flexible and able to meet you and your pets schedule! While I am not able to board your pets at my house, I can care for them in yours. To ensure your pets safety, comfort, and happiness I will take the time to get an understanding of their routine, personality, and any specific rules you have in place. Each pet is different and I take pride in getting to know all their quirks and needs!

About: Balancing kindness with firmness, I excel in dog care with a lifelong exposure to dogs (particularly senior dogs), pet sitting, administering medications, and experience as a vet assistant since age 19. Currently working as a veterinary assistant, I have time to dedicate to caring for and loving your animals, ensuring they receive the attention and care they deserve. Attentive and respectful, I prioritize your home and pets' well-being. With extensive experience in house/pet and ranch sitting, I'm committed to their safety and happiness, following your rules diligently.

“Christa takes good care of my kitties. I can relax knowing she is hanging out with them. The pictures show me how comfortable they are with her. They are less anxious when she cares for them.”

About: I’m back! I took a hiatus for a few years to raise two babies and now I’m on the job to make your pup smile! I have had dogs my whole life and devastatingly our last two pups passed through the rainbow bridge in 2024. My family still has room in our heart and our house for for your dog(s), so boarding and dog sitting is now our passion. I would love to share my love and energy by walking/running/playing with your dog(s). My dog home used to be filled with three energetic dogs with which I ran daily. I have no problem with running/walking larger or smaller breeds. I have owned and loved dogs of all ages and sizes and respect and understand that they have different needs and temperaments. I have free time durning the day to spend with your dog so please contact me if you have any questions and I look forward to meeting you and your four legged children. I currently have two school-age children, so morning and midday is perfect for me to walk/run/play with your dog or animal. I am also available early morning and evening for walks, runs, and drop and visits. We have a fenced in concrete area and grass on the outside. We have 2 acres of land, so plenty of space for fetch and outside play. We have a medium size crate, if needed. And we have two six year old girls, who would love to be friends.

“Melina was great! Very flexible with my last minute drop in request. My dogs loved her and she took great care of them. Went above and beyond in a rain storm to make sure their paws were dry and the floors were not muddy. Checked in regularly and made me feel at ease knowing my dogs were taken care of.”

“Bianca was great, very professional and made us feel at ease. Noche loved her. Will definitely be a repeat client”

“Jessica did a wonderful job checking in on our cats while we were away for a few days. She's responsive, professional, and reliable. Our cat loved her company and we'll definitely work with her again!”

“Amelia was awesome (and available pretty last minute) to cat-sit our little guy. Super communicative, trustworthy, sweet, and attentive. Thank you so much, Amelia!”

About: Dogs helped raise me. From a very young age, our family dogs were my best friends, guardians, and siblings. I’ve cared for animals of all kinds, from dogs and cats to rabbits and guinea pigs, horses, chickens, ducks and other farm animals, reptiles and amphibians, birds and more! I love all animals and connect with them on a deep level. I’ve been walking dogs and house sitting as my only job for over two years now. I absolutely love what I do and I’m so grateful to have the opportunity to work with animals for a living! I cover Felton to Boulder Creek and I’m happy to come up to Bonny Doon or Big Basin as well! I have a reliable car, I am happy to come to your house and check in on your pet, take them for a walk in your neighborhood, or even stay at your house while you’re away if your pet needs company full time!

About: With every dog that I meet, I enjoy playing a role of sort of translator/ trustworthy uncle, so they are excited to love and respect me. I feel that when I am assertive I am heard, and I attribute that to my determination to find a mutual sense of respect, and trust with not only dogs but nearly every indevidual I cross paths with. I believe very strongly in demonstrating integrity, and that in turn, I will find encounters of trust and respect. I grew up with Australian Sheppard’s. All rescues from Aussie Rescue. I have sat for friends and neighbors my entire life, as well as for friends of friends and also had a partner who I would help Sit (over-nights/ walks/ checking up/ spoil/ .... ...stuff like that. 😋 Wildly enough, I don’t have a dog of my own. I have spent some years of my adult life traveling and don’t see it fare to subject a dog/ dependent to my lifestyle. Now would be a good time, however, my best friends/ housemates have the most wonderful Blue Heeler(in my picture), and I absolutely adore sharing every moment that I can!

About: I’ve taken care of many different dogs and animals since childhood. I was part of my local 4h helping raise animals from steers to Guinea pigs. I love all animals and love them more than humans. I currently work from home. I can be very flexible with my schedule to accommodate different needs. I will always be available for your pet for some pets or a step outside. I have a small cat who keeps to herself. Your dog can be free around my home or crated if you prefer. I work on my computer all day so I can always be attentive. I live right on a creek so your dog will be very entertained on their walks.

“10/10! Heidi was such a great cat-sitter! I have a small studio that traps litter dust/odors and she made sure to open the windows while she was there. She also took my cat outside on her harness every day and kept Nairobi very happy. She also kept the litter box/food area super clean (despite my cat being quite messy). And of course the daily photos to sooth my cat-mom anxiety hehe. I will definitely book her for my next trip ?”

“Kaila is an excellent care giver, in the past she has taken care of my cats and I was very satisfied with their care. She is good at playing with them, taking into account their dietary needs, and changing the litter. She is very sweet with them and both of my cats absolutely adore her, I am confident that any pets and pet parents will be satisfied with the care that Kaila provides.”

Gretchen S.
“I am Gretchen's father so know her as well as anyone can, and can provide the strongest possible words of support for her. Throughout her childhood, the well-being and care of animals of all sorts was a main focus of hers. As she became an adult, she got a job as a veterinary technician and became the person in the family that I would go to for advice about any question I had about pet care, whether physical or emotional. She connects with animals at a deep level and goes to great lengths to ensure their comfort and happiness. Earlier this month (12/23), our 19-year-old cat Maggie was clearly reaching the end of her life. I called Gretchen and she drove down from Davis to be with her. Gretchen spent almost two full days with Maggie, sleeping with her to make sure that she was as comfortable as possible, and that there was nothing that could be done to prolong her life. Maggie passed in her arms. It was a tremendous gift both to Maggie and to all of us to have Maggie comforted in that manner in her last days. Gretchen will always the person I go to first when it comes to animal care.”
