About: Dogs Are My World – I have extensive hands-on experience with dogs: Worked at an animal shelter, caring for many different dogs with a variety of needs Served as a personal babysitter for a puppy and adult dogs Provided ongoing care for a senior woman and her dog Successfully trained my own dog, who is now wonderfully well-behaved Every walk I work on leash training and have watched my techniques turn into success in stopping leash pulling and better leash manners. I’m extremely responsible, reliable, and patient. Whether it’s daily walks, playtime, training reinforcement, or just giving your pup lots of love and attention while you’re away, I treat every dog like my own. I am versitile in dog psychology and really understand how do give them what they need. Your dog’s happiness and safety are my top priority! I am currently fully available days and nights but will in the next month begin working as an afterschool teacher for the elementary schools here in Santa Cruz, and my scheudle would change to Mon-Fri from 1:00 - 6:00 so I am trying to get a group of pups who need some morning babysitting while their Mom or Dad are at work or doing their daily chores. I would NEVER leave your dog alone. If they're under my supervision we are now bestfriends on a playdate all day. I can accomadate any kind of activities you would prefer your dog to do. Wether thats beach time, socializing with other dogs, NOT socializing with other dogs, hiking in the woods (If they're tick and flea vaccinated), or a day of training and playing in the park. I would love to accomadate what is best for your dog's needs.
“I was respectful and follows directions. Great at communication and has always been on time. Really seems to understand dogs and their idiosyncrasies and is extremely patient with them.”
“Kayla was absolutely wonderful!!! I would recommend her to anyone! She was communicative and very sweet. She spoiled my boys with lots of attention and play and was very dependable. She brought her adorable animal loving kids with the a few times and my cats really seemed to enjoy playing with the little ones :) thanks so much Kayla!!”

About: Hi! I’m Angelika, and I absolutely love spending time with animals of all kinds. I’ve loved animals my whole life. Growing up, our family home was full of pets, from rodents like mice, guinea pigs, rats, and hamsters, to rabbits, cats, turtles, parrots, and a dog I adored who passed away three years ago. I’ve walked and cared for dogs and cats since childhood, including helping my grandmother and neighbors with their pets, walking them and spending time with them whenever needed. Right now I don’t have a pet of my own because I’m traveling, but I’d love to help care for other people’s furry friends. I’m responsible, attentive, and I love spending time with animals. I enjoy walking them, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe and happy. I can’t wait to meet your pets and give them lots of love while you’re away! I am currently staying at my relatives’ house looking for a job and have plenty of free time, so I’m available to take care of your pets anytime! 😊 I make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved in their own home. I follow the owner’s instructions, give plenty of attention, play, and walks, and keep everything clean and secure.
“Luna took great care of our two cats while we were away for the holiday, and was incredibly thorough! We were able to relax without worrying about them during the few stormy days. We really appreciate everything!”

I plan ahead to keep routines consistent and communicate scheduling clearly before each booking. Repeat walks welcome. I keep environments clean, secure, and low-stress while following any care instructions provided, whether your dog is crate trained or free roaming. My home is best suited for one large dog or up to two smaller dogs at a time, with nearby access to parks, trails, and regular walking routes.

About: I’m a 21 year old college graduate looking to fulfill her hopes of pet setting once again! Being a full time student meant busy weeks, leaving no time for pet care. Something I actively did before transferring to UCSC. But with this newfound, post-graduate freedom, I’m eager to get back into the gig. Besides caring for my own kitties, I’ve worked with 7 clients over the past four years. All of which have been dog sitting gigs, with one job including an additional 3 cats (if that makes sense haha). And in my time as a sitter I’ve had four consistent clients. Additionally, I’m more than willing to sit for most dogs/ cats regardless of age, size, energy level, etc. It is my job (and such a privilege) to ensure their needs are met! Worth a mention - I’ve not had any experience in pet training, but I’m committed to being the best companion to the little loves! I can’t wait to connect with you and your fur-babies! I’m hoping to fill my week days (which are fairly open as of late) with pet care! Connecting with animals is truly such a rewarding job. Knowing I can make your life easier, and also that your pets are happy fills my heart with oodles of joy. My housing agreement unfortunately states that I can’t allow pets on to the premises. However, I’m extremely comfortable staying in/ visiting other spaces. Being respectful of your space is one of my top priorities.
About: Intuitive and kind. I take care of your pet like they are my own. Good at developing report with even timid or elder pets. Experienced with special diets (including raw) and requests. I take classes online so I study wherever I'm at. Listening to lectures more often than reading them so I can still give attention to pets. I work part time with a flexible schedule. I try to stick to the routine of the pet per the pet's owner. I will coordinate and communicate with the pets vet as well.

Clean, tidy, and exactly the way you left it. 📸 Stay Connected I’ll send you daily photos and updates so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and doing great. 🐕 Attentive Daily Routine Regular walks, feeding, playtime, and lots of affection — always tailored to your pet’s привычки and personality. 🤝 Meet & Greet Available We can meet beforehand so your pet feels comfortable, and you feel completely confident leaving them with me. 💊 Extra Care if Needed I can carefully and safely give medications if your pet needs them. 🎁 A Special Gift As a thank you, I’ll create a beautiful portrait of your pet — something you can keep as a memory. 🌱 A Personal Note I’m originally from Ukraine and currently building a new life here. Taking care of animals is something I truly enjoy and take seriously. 💬 Communication English isn’t my first language, so I really appreciate clear written instructions — it helps me take the best possible care of your pet. To enhance your chances of securing my services, please notify me of your needs in advance. This will allow me to better accommodate your requests and ensure a smoother experience for both of us. I'm more than happy to feed, play with, and take your little one out for a stroll upon your request. 😊 Any additional requests can be discussed separately to ensure they're tailored to your specific needs.
“Chelsea does great with my puppy Ringo! She was able to come last minute ( my daughter called me worried about him when she left for work, she said he was barking and had some separation anxiety! ) By the time I got home, he was a happier puppy after Chelsea’s visit!”

“Mámoo is absolutely wonderful with Kato (my high-energy female husky). It’s easy to see the care and enthusiasm they bring to every visit. Kato gets excited as soon as she sees them. Mámoo plays, runs, and engages with her in a way that matches her energy. It’s clear they enjoy spending time together. I am confident Kato is in such loving hands and capable hands.”

“Christa took great care of our two cats and was incredibly thoughtful and communicative. So glad to have had someone we could trust to check in while we were gone. Christa even managed to get our very shy and nervous cat out of his shell!”

About: I recently lost my paws in early 2025 so I am doing what's best now. I want to see the community pay a little for A LOT. I’m not just a dog walker, but a pack player, buy you toys, let you play with several treat dispensing tricks balls, cuddle is a must, and welcome your furry friend into the pack like my own. I treat your dog like I have known them my whole life... At date of 01/25/2026 I am available Sunday - Wednesday 6am - noon. Thursday - Saturday available 6am to 10pm. I blocked off calandra dates that I am out of town. I treat them like they're my own and this includes extra safety when outdoors, extra treats sometimes, extra one and one time and I am a firm believer in hugs and kisses to these babies.
“Erica was immediately responsive to what care I needed for my new puppy. She does a great job in communicating with me and discerning the needs of my puppy when she comes to care for her. She recognizes when my puppy needs to relax, be reassured, play or be encouraged. I highly recommend Erica for any service!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Felton
It's so nice to be able to totally trust Luna with my two Maine Coon cats. Her level of care along with her professionalism is exceptional. While I'm on vacation I get her photo/video updates. My cats always seem relaxed with her. When I get home from vacation I can see it around my house. The clean floor around their food dishes. The well kept litter box area. Well fed and happy cats. She's always sure to contact me with any updates. I would heartily recommend her to any potential clients. I'm happy to have her in my cat's lives.

Once again, Serenity and her partner were outstanding. Serenity is so attentive and keeps me updated throughout each and every visit. You can tell that they are animal lovers through and through! I've used Serenity and her partner three times now and will definitely be using them again in the future. I always leave feeling confident that my boys are in good hands.

Carmen has made several check ins with our two kitties and one dog. They love her, even our very shy kitty! Both of our kitties require meds and Carmen was able to give them their meds with no issues. I would highly recommend Carmen her love of animals is very evident.

Kayla was so knowledgeable and helpful! She really put my anxious mind at ease while travelling away from my cat, Bella. She provided me with tips for caring for my pet, communicated exceptionally throughout the entire process, and went above and beyond by trimming Bella's nails and playing with her. She also has a great attitude! I would highly recommend her if you are a first time user on Rover or for any of your animal's needs.

Sera is the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had! She was absolutely wonderful with our 2 cats right from the meet-and-greet. She was extremely personable, professional, detail oriented, and a true cat lover. She took such sweet photos of our cats during her visits, which made it easier to be away from them. Thank you, Sera, for being the best in the biz!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
