I love to go for walks, hikes, the beach and would love to take your dog with me. I've had to give senior dogs medication and look after them. I know how hard it is to trust someone to watch your fur baby when your away and I'm that person and I will treat them like royalty. I am home everyday at 12:00. My husband works from home so one of us is always home with your dog. I am ready when I get home to take your dog with me on a walk or hike. Your dog will have access to a dog run area all day long and a large backyard when we are home. I have a house with a large fenced in yard and your dog will have complete access to outside at all times. At this time I don't have a dog of my own, so there will be no conflict between dogs. I want your dog to feel at home as much possible.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Mount Hermon
It's so nice to be able to totally trust Luna with my two Maine Coon cats. Her level of care along with her professionalism is exceptional. While I'm on vacation I get her photo/video updates. My cats always seem relaxed with her. When I get home from vacation I can see it around my house. The clean floor around their food dishes. The well kept litter box area. Well fed and happy cats. She's always sure to contact me with any updates. I would heartily recommend her to any potential clients. I'm happy to have her in my cat's lives.

Once again, Serenity and her partner were outstanding. Serenity is so attentive and keeps me updated throughout each and every visit. You can tell that they are animal lovers through and through! I've used Serenity and her partner three times now and will definitely be using them again in the future. I always leave feeling confident that my boys are in good hands.

Kayla was so knowledgeable and helpful! She really put my anxious mind at ease while travelling away from my cat, Bella. She provided me with tips for caring for my pet, communicated exceptionally throughout the entire process, and went above and beyond by trimming Bella's nails and playing with her. She also has a great attitude! I would highly recommend her if you are a first time user on Rover or for any of your animal's needs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
