I work from home and have a very flexible schedule. I'm available 7 days a week to walk your small dog or care for your dog in my home. My home is a loving and safe environment for your small pet. 7. Amanda A.
About: I have experience with training puppies and have experience with cats and dogs. I had a beloved cat, Tyrone, for 20 years and also a wonderful golden retriever, Sunshine, for almost 13 years. I recently fostered a puppy, and did so much research on training and got her crate trained plus several commands down pat in under 2 weeks! I also have experience with senior dogs and know all the tricks with using diapers to help with unwanted potty breaks. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule. I work CST hours so I am always available after 3pm. I can work really from anywhere so can walk at varied times of the day. I have open space right next to my house and am close to many trails and parks! I am happy to run or walk your pet or just play and keep them company for a little bit. I don’t have a animal of my own so will definitely give all the cuddles, as long as they are open to that!

About: I will love your fur baby like my very own! I live an active lifestyle so your baby will have all the walks and runs they need. I can also be a little less active for those pups that just like to hang out at home :) We love the beach and go for multiple walks throughout the day. I have a 3 year old Boxer and a 12 year old cat. I also have a 5 year old son who enjoys spending time with the dogs just as much as I do. Though never left unattended. My dog is overly social. Sometimes too social for some but he reads the room pretty well. We have catered to dogs who are more people oriented and have never had any issues. I work from home full time. It is nice to have a fenced yard so my pup can come and go as he wants. We go on several walks a day and do dog park visits after 330pm most days. I have a fenced in yard. Pets are allowed on furniture in my home as well. We also have fun stuff like kongs and brain games to stay busy. I am mostly always available since I work from home. The dogs get lots of play time since I have a very rambunctious Boxer. The dogs have access to most of my home at all times. If it's nice out, the back door stays open and they can go in and out. I work from home. Being home often allows me the time to be present with the dog I am sitting. We like to spend our days in the yard and going on walks. I have a fenced yard. The dogs are never left unattended. We do have a lot of regular pups who I have watched throughout the years. Some are crate trained so that can also be arranged.

About: i grew up around animals my whole life (dogs especially) i’ve always had such a big heart for all animals and all mine currently are rescues. i had 8 dogs at one point and trained every single one myself. i take my dogs to the beach almost everyday and they’re always coming with me and my boyfriend even on small trips to the store, our animals are our world and their safety is our biggest concern, we would love to treat your dogs as one of our own for the duration of their stay and make them as comfortable as possible. can’t wait to meet you and your pup! i am currently working part time my hours are from 6:00-2:30 so i pretty much have most of the day left on the days i work. i am super flexible and am also available my work days after 2:30. i have a fenced in backyard and 3 extremely friendly dogs. i also have a small size crate if needed and your welcome to bring your own as well.

14. Erica W.
“Erica was immediately responsive to what care I needed for my new puppy. She does a great job in communicating with me and discerning the needs of my puppy when she comes to care for her. She recognizes when my puppy needs to relax, be reassured, play or be encouraged. I highly recommend Erica for any service!”

15. Willa P.

“Willa went above and beyond to help us in a changing situation! We originally asked for her to do a drop in visit with Ruby but Ruby somehow escaped our fenced yard the day before. We didn't want to leave her on her own, so Willa woke up early to pick her up and dropped her off at a friend's place for the day. So helpful!”

16. Deanna S.
“Since moving to Santa Cruz, our 15 year old dog has not adjusted well. My husband and I both have neurodegenerative diseases that makes it hard for us to walk. Since hiring Redwood Romps to take out our little dog twice a week she’s adapting a bit better. She adores Deanna and waits by the front window for her to arrive. Deanna has been so kind and patient with our old dog. She’s even given us suggestions to help her feel more comfortable in her new home. You can’t go wrong with Redwood Romps”

17. Marissa V.

“Marissa did an excellent job dropping in to feed and play with my cat while I was away. She sent pictures and kept me informed about how Gracie, my 18 year old cat was doing. I would definitely recommend her for pet sitting.”

18. Wayne & Alexandra W.

“Wayne was constantly in contact and even came to let out/feed my doggies on Christmas morning, when we couldn’t - as we were out of town for a full week. I am SO grateful for the way they left the house, and kept my crazy doggies safe and happy. It was a rainy (muddy) week too; so I am extra grateful because I know that’s such a pain. I trusted them with my home and my dogs and I’m happy I chose them :)”

19. Jayce S.
“Jayce is terrific! He is an extremely reliable and trustworthy person. His caring, compassionate, and loving demeanor is genuine. All the pets he has taken care of, including Portia, Harvey, Sally, Creme Puff, Benny, Chloe…just to mention a few are very appreciative. Your pets will be lucky to be around such an amazing human being.”
