Here to Keep Your Pup Happy At Home
My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! Our preference is to work with 1 or 2 older/more relaxed dogs, that can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. We lean towards being home bodies, but we enjoy going on walks/outtings, having play time and lots of snuggles. If we seem like a simpatico match to care for your pup, please reach out for our availability!

Erika and Troy did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs Sammy and Coal. They communicated throughout their sit with us, to include our pups at play. We have large dogs and not everyone can handle them with ease. Troy and Erika did just fine with them, including many snuggles and walks (beach and park). They took great care of our home and left it spotless. They also watered some of our picky outside potted plants. I would not hesitate to have them back. You are in great hands with these great folks!
My daughter, Erika, has many qualities that prove her to be a wonderful caring person, fully engaged in life. We have both loved and cared for pets in the past. Schedule
We have a flexible schedule and can work around your needs/timing with plenty of notice. We enjoy exploring new areas and are happy to have your dogs show us all their favorite spots to hang out!

Safety, trust & environment
Rather than upend your dog's routine on top of you being out of town, we will come to you! We are willing/able to handle any morning/evening routines (food/water, oral meds, walks, potty needs) and your dog can sleep with us if so inclined.
A typical day
Aside from the basics, we usually have one big outting a day.... a long walk, a hike or a trip to the beach/park to frolic. Whatever your dog would prefer, we're down for it! Tuckered out dogs are usually happy dogs.... and we hope to minimize any anxiety for your pup by leaning into something fun or maintaining their routine.
