“Leaving my dog with someone new always makes me a bit nervous, but from the very beginning, Sophia made both me and my dog feel completely at ease. She welcomed us so warmly and even invited us for a meet-and-greet at her home before the actual stay so my dog could get used to the environment. That extra time really made a difference! I can tell my dog felt so comfortable when I dropped him off a few days later. Sophia’s home is a truly dog-friendly place. Her family's living room, comfy sofa, and even their beds were all open to dogs. I’m very particular about hygiene and cleanliness wherever my dog stays, and Sophia’s home was spotless. They also have a lovely backyard where dogs can safely relax, play, and relieve themselves. Everything about her home and her family radiates kindness and genuine love for animals. Before the stay, she asked me how often I’d like to receive updates: once a day, 2-3 times, 3-4 times, or as often as possible. When I hesitated, she kindly suggested 3-4 times a day, which turned out to be perfect. She sent photos and videos at just the right moments, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was traveling. To my surprise, she took my dog out for walks three to four times a day and even cooked fresh, homemade meals for him. Watching the videos, I could tell my dog wasn't being used to just "pose for the camera," but he had truly bonded with Sophia. My dog became Sophia's velcro dog! My dog had his chin and paw resting on Sophia’s arm or leg, looking up at her so lovingly...and trust me, the poodle side of him is way too smart (and a little cocky) to be made to do that. I know that kind of moment can’t be staged. You could see in his eyes how much he adored her. When I brought him home afterward, there was no sign of separation anxiety at all, which says everything about how happy and secure he felt at her place. What touched me even more was Sophia’s thoughtfulness. When I went to pick up my dog, she handed me some Korean food to take home. It was an incredibly kind gesture that showed how caring and considerate she is. Sophia’s entire family is wonderful. Her daughters are polite and kind, and the atmosphere in their home is simply beautiful. Honestly, for the level of care and attention she provides, her rate feels incredibly modest. I am beyond grateful for her kindness, professionalism, and love for animals. I would 100% trust Sophia again to care for my dog and will absolutely rebook with her in the future. About: I had a Golden Retriever, raised him from baby till old. He is with my parents now. My whole family are big time dog lovers. We walk frequently. There’s play time and treats time to learn something and I have 2 kids. 11 and 9 year old. They also love dogs and play together. I have a house with fenced yard. Great and super clean house. Dog can sleep on my couch. Not on bed. I clean the fur all the time.

This was Snoopy‘s second visit with Kara and I was so excited that she was available! Snoopy is an only dog and very timid and I knew a couple of days at day. Camp would be just what he needed to help bring him out of his shell. He did really well with her pack. I got constant photos and videos and my heart was full with his visit. Kara is amazing and took such good care of my two pups and truly provided them with their own vacation while I took mine. Kara is a dog lover and will take very good care of your animals and give them a truly unique experience of enjoying a pack and having an adventure. She sent pictures and videos every day enjoying adventures in Boulder Creek with other dogs. They got to go on hikes and swim and she took time to work with my littlest one teaching him how to be braver as he is a bit shy. I will definitely be taking my pups to her again in the future.
