About: My first exposure to cats was Raisin, my beloved tabby when I was 3 years old. My next cat "of my own" was Spooky, a Russian Blue abandoned in a Seattle Queen Anne Hill apartment building who joined our family when I was a preteen. I've been caring for cats ever since. My husband and I have cared for many cats of all ages over the years and my own cat Elvis just passed at 18, so I know exactly what it takes to care for a senior cat: the feeding schedule, the medication, the careful observation, the quiet corners they retreat to. I'm not the cheapest sitter on here. But I'm the one you don't have to think twice about when it comes to your home space and your loved ones.

About: Dogs have been and always will be one of my greatest loves! My childhood dogs made my life so much more meaningful. When our own kids were growing up we had two dogs which we adopted as puppies and had the pleasure of having until they passed from old age. About: I love all animals and have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rats, opossums, raccoons and squirrels! I have a pretty open schedule. I am active and enjoy hiking and adventuring. I live in a cabin tucked into the woods a short walk from the river. About: I have taken care of pets for quite some time. I grew up on a farm, so I have been around all sorts of animals all my life. I recently moved back here to the valley from Santa Cruz. Will be here for a year or so. When I was in Santa Cruz I volunteer for the animal shelter there. I recently moved here from Santa Cruz, and will be starting work at the school in the fall, so I am looking to do some pet sitting, and dog walking, during the summer. I have a fenced yard, but I am not doing pet care at my home at this time. I am sharing home with family members

I’d also enjoy taking them for a long walk in the evening or to the park—I believe a dog who gets plenty of walks and their energy out is a happy dog. I’ll make sure to meet your dog’s needs. If your dog prefers to stay home due to age, size, or other reasons, I’ll adjust the walking distance and schedule to keep them engaged, even when they’re at home. I don’t currently have any pets, so visiting dogs will receive my full attention. I’ll be home most of the time from Friday through Monday, allowing me to provide frequent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and companionship. I also have a crate available if your dog is crate-trained or if you would like them crated for sleeping or when appropriate. Whether your pet prefers non-stop playtime or a cozy spot on the couch next to me, I can't wait to welcome them into our home! I currently work part-time from home and we have a retired senior and a high schooler at home, and we are all available to make sure your pet is well cared for. Your pet will be walked twice a day - morning and evening. And my energetic playful poodle will make sure they get plenty of exercise and play in our backyard during the day. I have a single-family home with a large fenced backyard that is ready to host your pet. I’ll make sure all our pets get individual attention and care, and are fed independently. They can sleep on their own bed or on our sofas, whatever they prefer. I will send you daily updates on how they are doing.
