“I am pretty sure Jeter wants to move in with Leah. A friend who usually sits for Jeter had to cancel with less than a week’s notice and I was worried about how he would do with someone new. I definitely didn’t have to worry. Leah’s home is all about the pups with so many beds, blankets and even a warming pad! I got lots of updates which assured me Jeter had made himself right at home (for better or for worse 😆.) Knowing Jeter was happy, safe and loved in Leah’s care gave us huge peace of mind since we were all the way across the country. He even had a little cav companion which was icing on the cake. About: For the last 6 years I have had different friends and family rely on me for dog, cat, and rabbit care. I have been responsible for scheduled feedings, bathing, walks, and of course playing and quality time. My goal is always to be communicative, reliable, and adaptable to any and all of your pets individual needs. I currently work full-time in retail with a schedule that varies per week, but would love to use any of my free time and days off to spend with pets. All shifts are 8 hours or less and I am more than willing to make time before or after (or both) any of my shifts. My biggest priority in any situation is to remain communicative and careful, as I understand what it’s like to have your pet in somebody else’s care. In cases of pet-sitting in your home I can be trusted to be respectful of all belongings, keeping a clean space, and going above and beyond care instructions. In cases of boarding in my home, I live in a two story house in the hills of Scotts Valley with two other animal-loving housemates. We have a large fenced backyard on a hill and plenty of hiking trails nearby to stay active.

About: My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! I currently check on and feed a family friends dogs on the weekends when needed, I always leave the space how I found it and make sure the dogs have enough water and haven't gotten into anything they are not supposed to, I have experience with difficult dogs and have been researching dog behavior and training these past 3 years. “Megan took wonderful care of my puppy Henry while he was boarded with her. She made sure he got plenty of exercise and lots of social time with other dogs, including puppies, which was perfect for him. She even took care of some grooming, which was a nice bonus. Henry came home happy and well cared for. I'll definitely be bringing him back to Megan soon. Highly recommend!”

She made sure Jakey was loved, fed, cuddled and played with and was really great at sending photos throughout the day and kept me updated on how things were going. Jakey loved meeting the other pets in the house. When I asked Jakey if he enjoyed his time, he gave me the wink of approval ;).
