“I was really anxious about leaving our pup home for a trip but Devin really did everything to put my mind at ease. He came over multiple times before the stay to make sure Phoebe was comfortable with him. He sent tons of pictures and updates during the stay, took care of her and the house. We don’t leave her alone very often and knowing he was there with her all day really made me feel better about leaving her. We would definitely book Devin again!”

About: I’ve never lived without a dog in my household. I’ve had both small and large dogs and I haven’t met an animal that doesn’t like me. I’m very flexible with my schedule, so I can very easily squeeze in anyone. I love going out and spending time with animals, and I usually don’t have concrete plans. I have a 70lb goldendoodle who is fully housebroken and trained. My yard is fenced in and I have never had an issue with any of my pets or any visiting pets getting out.

“Lara just watched our very adolescent dog for the first time and absolutely smashed it out of the park! Lara was thoughtful, communicative, and went above and beyond. We also came home to a spotless house! I’ll definitely be using Lara again in the future”

“Chloe took great care of my cattle dog who can be intense. She gave me a detailed summary of their night which I really appreciated. I would be happy to use her services again in the future.”

About: Hi, I'm Kaila! I am an animal loving college student with a lifetime of experience in pet care. I grew up with a vast array of animals who often were left under my watch. I have taken care of cats, little dogs, big dogs, and bunnies. All sizes and ages of pets are welcome! I have experience with puppy/kitten care, senior care, cats, small dogs, and big dogs! I'm well versed in (lovingly) tricking pets into taking their medication, ensuring they get proper exercise/enrichment, and cleaning up after them. At the moment I am free everyday aside from Sundays from 8-3pm. I am very flexible and able to meet you and your pets schedule! While I am not able to board your pets at my house, I can care for them in yours. To ensure your pets safety, comfort, and happiness I will take the time to get an understanding of their routine, personality, and any specific rules you have in place. Each pet is different and I take pride in getting to know all their quirks and needs!

“Melina is fantastic with our dog and cat! She takes care of the house and I come home to a clean house.”

“Bianca did a great job taking care of our older dog Buddy. He is blind and takes medication twice a day. He needs to be let out regularly for potty breaks, and she did everything we asked of her. Our house was left clean and Buddy was happy and well taken car of when we arrived home.”

About: I have taken care of pets since I was a child. I would pet-sit my neighbors' furry babies mainly because I wasn't allowed to have pets at home, so that was my way of being around these amazing creatures. I have lived in homes with dogs and cats and finally have my own. My husband and I trained our pups ourselves. We both work from home and have pretty flexible schedules, which is excellent for providing your fur babies the care and attention they deserve. We are both loving and caring people and look forward to caring for your pet. Our main goal is to ensure you feel at ease leaving your precious pet in our care. Although we don't have a fenced yard, we live in a very safe area. We have ample space to play with the dogs. We can easily crate your dog if needed. They are allowed on the couches and in bed. Your furry friend will be treated and cared for as one of ours.

“Christa stayed with my cat two nights and was both communicative and responsive. She administered meds every morning and they even got some cuddles in. Thanks!”

About: I started my own dog walking and pet sitting business at eight caring for dogs, lizards, birds, cats and snakes. As an adult, I've worked as a dog trainer, doggy day care host, dog rehabber and in wild life rescue and rehab. I also have experience in trapping and rehabbing feral dogs. I have experience in giving oral medications, subcutaneous shots, as well as a plethora of behavioral issues such as separation anxiety and obedience. I offer pick up & drop off for 10$, unless you're down the street from me or boarding your dog for an extended time - then it's free. There’s a friendly black lab x chinese shar pei (my dog) around. He absolutely loves other dogs and will be quite happy to play. While there is a cat on the property, he is mainly outdoors. If your dog doesn’t get along with felines, just let me know and I can ensure the cat stays in a dog-free area. My husband and I both work from home. At least one of us is around at all times. He grew up with dogs and has a wealth of experience as well. While I own close to an acre of un-fenced land, there is a secure deck where your dog can play and freely enter and exit the house at will. There's a daily hike for the pack and a park nearby. Our home is filled with toys, bones, and dog beds.

About: My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! Our preference is to work with 1 or 2 older/more relaxed dogs, that can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. We lean towards being home bodies, but we enjoy going on walks/outtings, having play time and lots of snuggles. If we seem like a simpatico match to care for your pup, please reach out for our availability! We have a flexible schedule and can work around your needs/timing with plenty of notice. We enjoy exploring new areas and are happy to have your dogs show us all their favorite spots to hang out! Rather than upend your dog's routine on top of you being out of town, we will come to you! We are willing/able to handle any morning/evening routines (food/water, oral meds, walks, potty needs) and your dog can sleep with us if so inclined.

Marina C.
“Marina did an outstanding job caring for my 2-year-old poodle, Rex, while I was traveling in Mexico during a week. She understood that Rex is a young, energetic dog and took him on morning runs, which was perfect for keeping him happy and healthy. Marina sent me daily photos and updates, giving me complete peace of mind during my trip. She stayed overnight at my home with Rex and I returned to find everything exactly as I left it. Rex was clearly comfortable and happy with her (sometimes he doesn't eat while I'm away but he did!), which says everything about her natural way with animals. I would absolutely book her services again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter!”

“Kaila is an excellent care giver, in the past she has taken care of my cats and I was very satisfied with their care. She is good at playing with them, taking into account their dietary needs, and changing the litter. She is very sweet with them and both of my cats absolutely adore her, I am confident that any pets and pet parents will be satisfied with the care that Kaila provides.”

Daniela & Ronan F.
“Daniela is great! Everything you'd want in a pet sitter - very responsive, flexible about timing for visits and walks, and a genuine animal lover. She sent adorable pictures of our cats and dog, and when we came back I could tell our dog had a good time and that the three of them had been in great hands. I will definitely use Daniela again to watch our pets when we have to travel and would recommend her to others in the Rover community!”

Christa G.

“Christa stayed with my cat two nights and was both communicative and responsive. She administered meds every morning and they even got some cuddles in. Thanks!”

Kara L.
“Kara essentially raised our golden from a pup to an adult. He was raised to be a well-behaved fellow, though he still liked to try to break the rules occasionally. Sometimes dogs just have to be dogs and get into trouble now and then, just to remind you that they are dogs after all. I credit Kara with bringing him up to be a well-behaved dog, Kara loves animals. I highly recommend her for any animal care or training.”

Erika T.
“Erika and Troy did a fantastic job taking care of our dogs Sammy and Coal. They communicated throughout their sit with us, to include our pups at play. We have large dogs and not everyone can handle them with ease. Troy and Erika did just fine with them, including many snuggles and walks (beach and park). They took great care of our home and left it spotless. They also watered some of our picky outside potted plants. I would not hesitate to have them back. You are in great hands with these great folks!”

Aiyana took such good care of my home and real life Garfield cat- Raja. Will definitely be booking her again!

Lara just watched our very adolescent dog for the first time and absolutely smashed it out of the park! Lara was thoughtful, communicative, and went above and beyond. We also came home to a spotless house! I’ll definitely be using Lara again in the future

Samantha AKA Pepper is a DREAM COME TRUE Pet Sitter! I hesitate to give an honest review (HA HA HA) because we want her all to ourselves. She is so gentle, loving, caring, compassionate, and the best communicator in a pet sitter we've ever had! She kept us posted when one of our cats fell ill and helped us trouble shoot every step of the way- giving us peace of mind while we were far away. I cannot recommend her highly enough- but she might be hard to book as we plan on booking her every day for the next 10 years~! (joke!) You cannot do better than Samantha!
