About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends, relatives and clients for years. Our house is their pets’ second home when they travel or need us. I can do the same for you, too. During the weekend I am mostly home. Weekdays, I partially work from office and home. There is plenty of time to spend time with your pet or walk them frequently. My husband works from home full time, so there is always one or two adults at home. We live in a single house with a fenced backyard, and there is a big greenbelt right outside our backyard ( see images). Therefore it’s very convenient for frequent walks or play time for your pet. “Valentina was a fantastic dog sitter for our two pit bull mix dogs. This was the first time we have left our dogs for a trip so we were a little nervous how it would work out. Before our trip we brought our dogs over to Valentina's to get to know her and her household. This was quite helpful for us and our dogs. For us as we were able to talk and have our questions answered. For the dogs because when we dropped them off this was a familiar place. Valentina touched base with use several times throughout the week to let us know how our pitties were getting along. I was pleased with the care our dogs received from Valentina. I recommend her.”

They got to go on hikes and swim and she took time to work with my littlest one teaching him how to be braver as he is a bit shy. I will definitely be taking my pups to her again in the future. “Yajaira and her dog Luna are AMAZING! My dog is anxious and often scared. She met me and my dog prior to confirming the booking which worked out well. Her dog Luna is amazing with other dogs and incredibly cute. She really helped my dog feel at ease and trust the situation. Yajaira sent me multiple pictures daily, took her to the beach, administered medications and even gave her a bath. Thank you for taking such good care of her! “We left Robert with Dapeng for four nights and it's Robert's first time to stay overnight with another family. We were a bit concerned about him adapting to the new environment. Dapeng and his family was such a blessing to work with. They treated Roberted very well and let him play with a few other dogs with similar energy level so Robert had a ball! We received lovely photos of him playing in the backyard and he seemed to be in great spirit. We will book again this summer.”

“Andrew was AMAZING!! If you are hunting for someone to care for your animal while you are away he will treat your pets like one of his own. He sent lots of pictures and videos, took her on lots of walks, and she loved playing with his pup. I know leaving your fur babies with strangers is so hard but he is an amazing sitter and one we will forever use as long as he keeps sitting. Trust me he is a great choice.”

“Malika was an amazing cat sitter for Gigi! Gigi is very shy and cautious around new people, but Malika was very patient and knew how to help her feel comfortable. Gigi is also a 16 year old senior cat with a more specific feeding routine, and Malika followed everything carefully. She sent regular updates a few times a day which gave me a lot of peace of mind. Malika was communicative and very knowledgeable about cats. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable pet sitter!”
