“My lab mix Steinbeck had a great relaxed time at his first overnight stretch (3 nights and days) at Camp Mita, after previously spending several good doggy daycare days there. He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. He came home completely grounded. I was able to enjoy my time away so much more because he clearly enjoyed his time with Madhumita. Thanks for your attentiveness to a sensitive dog, Mita!”

“QI took great care of Arisha. Arisha is a shy dog and it takes time for her to get used to new places. QI noticed how sad Arisha was and made specialized chicken and carrot meals for her that Arisha thoroughly loved. Arisha is also afraid of dogs, but while QI sits multiple dogs at once, she was able to socialize Arisha with all the other dogs to a point where Arisha joined the pack and started hanging out with them more, which is close to a miracle. Thank you QI for the wonderful care, Arisha came back home energetic and happy. I'll be happy to book again next time I have the need.”

This was Teo’s first stay outside the care of a family member, but from our very first meeting in Yoona and Minjae’s clean, welcoming home, I felt completely at ease knowing he would be in the best hands. Teo was comfortable with them right away, and the photos and videos they shared throughout his stay showed just how happy he was - enjoying plenty of walks, enrichment, and feeling truly included as part of their pack. It was clear that Teo received so much love and attention; he was affectionate with Yoona and Minjae and was genuinely treated like a member of their family. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and they were incredibly responsive and flexible with scheduling. The entire process was seamless, and Teo was calm and confident being left in their care. I couldn’t recommend Yoona and Minjae more highly, and know that Teo would be thrilled to return for future daycare or boarding stays.”

“Kendra, our sitter, was maximally sweet! The setting was a bit rough. Our kitty lived upstairs in a private room without furniture but well heated. So make sure you bring bedding your kitty will be comfortable with. Also, the household has a large friendly dog that likes to bark at strangers. Our kitty wouldn't be comfortable hanging around with him. But if your cat likes dawgs, this is the place for them! Doggie lives downstairs; kitty was upstairs. Never the twain would meet! Overall, definitely recommended. The pricing is affordable, the setting comfortable, and we know the sitter gave our kitty all the attention she wanted.”

I have had dogs my whole life and devastatingly our last two pups passed through the rainbow bridge in 2024. About: Growing up, I had a golden retriever named Daisy. Daisy is was from an organization I worked with called NorCal Golden Rescue. We fostered her for a couple of weeks but fell in love with her undeniable love and decided to adopt her. NorCal Golden Rescue mainly rescues golden retrievers who have been neglected and abandoned from the streets of Taiwan and bring them to the San Francisco Bay Area where they are paired with a fur-ever home. I have with dogs of all ages and temperaments from young lively puppies to old mellow senior citizen doggos. About: My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! Our preference is to work with 1 or 2 older/more relaxed dogs, that can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. We lean towards being home bodies, but we enjoy going on walks/outtings, having play time and lots of snuggles. If we seem like a simpatico match to care for your pup, please reach out for our availability! We have a flexible schedule and can work around your needs/timing with plenty of notice. In my last relationship I took full responsibility for three large dogs, one which was a rescue adopted as a puppy, (feeding, administering medications, training, exercise, bathing, grooming, vet visits) for about 5 years. I am currently working part-time and taking a break from school while I prepare to apply to a health profession program. This gives me a very open and flexible schedule, allowing me to accommodate a variety of pet care needs, including morning, afternoon, evening, weekend, and overnight care. Because of my flexible availability, I can devote plenty of time and attention to your pet, ensuring they stay on their normal routine with regular walks, playtime, feeding, potty breaks, and lots of love and companionship. I look forward to working with you and providing your pet with the compassionate, dependable care they deserve while you're away! I provide loving, reliable pet care in your home using your pet's own supplies to help keep their routine as normal as possible. I use the food, treats, toys, bedding, leashes, litter, medications, and any other pet essentials you provide, so I don't bring my own pet supplies. This helps your pet stay comfortable in their familiar environment while you're away. I live in a quiet, small neighborhood with about 0.75 acres of yard space and keep a clean, tidy home with plenty of room for pets to roam and relax. If boarding or daycare is arranged at my home, I will use any pet supplies you provide to maintain your pet's routine and comfort. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine, I'll follow your instructions closely and treat your pet like family, giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and affection.
About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! About: I take my dogs for runs, and I travel with her some times! I love watching after dogs and being physical! Exercise is very important! Currently I live with family and they help take care of our animals as well and take my dog and cat for walks, we live in nature so they sun bathe and frolic . I can offer going to peoples houses and that means making sure they're well fed and entertained and just really taking care of them anyway they need. I've also had an animal that had surgery so I'm familiar with giving shots and pills as well!

About: I have loved animals my entire life. Throughout college and high school, I worked as a dog walker for Wag and a kennel attendant at the local vet. I currently work on boats and do this in the off-season or when things are slow. I love spending time with animals and will treat your baby like one of my own, with lots of walks, cuddles, and attention. “My lab mix Steinbeck had a great relaxed time at his first overnight stretch (3 nights and days) at Camp Mita, after previously spending several good doggy daycare days there. He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. He came home completely grounded. I was able to enjoy my time away so much more because he clearly enjoyed his time with Madhumita. Thanks for your attentiveness to a sensitive dog, Mita!”

QI noticed how sad Arisha was and made specialized chicken and carrot meals for her that Arisha thoroughly loved. Arisha is also afraid of dogs, but while QI sits multiple dogs at once, she was able to socialize Arisha with all the other dogs to a point where Arisha joined the pack and started hanging out with them more, which is close to a miracle.
