About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own! I can care for your pets in your home- the least stressful for them! Or take them to a park, hikes, or a leisurely walk. In my last relationship I took full responsibility for three large dogs, one which was a rescue adopted as a puppy, (feeding, administering medications, training, exercise, bathing, grooming, vet visits) for about 5 years. I use the food, treats, toys, bedding, leashes, litter, medications, and any other pet essentials you provide, so I don't bring my own pet supplies. This helps your pet stay comfortable in their familiar environment while you're away. I live in a quiet, small neighborhood with about 0.75 acres of yard space and keep a clean, tidy home with plenty of room for pets to roam and relax. If boarding or daycare is arranged at my home, I will use any pet supplies you provide to maintain your pet's routine and comfort. Whether I'm caring for your pet in your home or mine, I'll follow your instructions closely and treat your pet like family, giving them plenty of attention, exercise, and affection.

About: I raised by dog from one month old and trained him his whole life! I grew up around dogs my whole life and love them. Animals mean so much to me and I love caring for them. I work two days a week on Wednesday 12-4 and Thursday 2-4:30. I also have school five days a week. Monday 8-2, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8-12 and Thursday 8-12. I care for pets in making sure they have space for themselves but are also reaching the love and attention they need to be happy and healthy. I will watch pets in your home!

About: Love taking long walks or just playing in the yard. Have had a Jack Russell puppy who needed lots of attention and training. With outside help and the willingness to learn it was a good relationship. I work full time but can walk a dog in the morning and after work, if close enough lunchtime. Weekends I am available so my schedule is more opened. Cat Care would be the same. Could give the attention they crave. In the clients home, I would listen and be guided by what the pet needs are. With cats I would make sure to give them playtime while on my visit besides making sure they are properly feed.
