I have pretty much free time, so I'd love to fit in pet care. I can do early morning or late afternoon dog walks, and I'm totally game for boarding or longer visits on weekends. Mamoo is sensitive and perceptive regarding cats' preferences and communications and adjusts his care to meet your pets' needs. For instance if your pet is too nervous to come out to regular feeding area, he will bring food to the cat and approach slowly and respectfully. My cats warmed up to Mamoo and he gave them lots of love and attention. My cats were not showing any signs of stress after my return which is unusual for one of my cats! About: I've cared for pets since I was 12. Growing up in a family with so many different critters has given me such a deep connection to caring for animals. I've cared for dogs, cats, reptiles, ferrets, and other rodents. I feel extremely confident in my animal care skills. I am currently not in school. I'll have a part-time job, so I will have plenty of time for pet care. Spending time with animals brings me so much joy! I am a very responsible individual. When in a client's home, I will respect it like my own. Getting to know how and what I need to do is very important to me and will be followed through.

About: I’m a 22 year old college graduate looking to fulfill her hopes of pet setting once again! Being a full time student meant busy weeks, leaving no time for pet care. Something I actively did before transferring to UCSC. But with this newfound, post-graduate freedom, I’m eager to get back into the gig. Besides caring for my own kitties, I’ve worked with 7 clients over the past four years. All of which have been dog sitting gigs, with one job including an additional 3 cats (if that makes sense haha). And in my time as a sitter I’ve had four consistent clients. Additionally, I’m more than willing to sit for most dogs/ cats regardless of age, size, energy level, etc. It is my job (and such a privilege) to ensure their needs are met! Worth a mention - I’ve not had any experience in pet training, but I’m committed to being the best companion to the little loves! I can’t wait to connect with you and your fur-babies! I’m hoping to fill my week days (which are fairly open as of late) with pet care! Connecting with animals is truly such a rewarding job. However, I’m extremely comfortable staying in/ visiting other spaces. Being respectful of your space is one of my top priorities.

About: There hasnt been a time in my life where I havent been around dogs or any animals! I am good at training dogs as well as taking them on walks all around. I love taking dogs on hikes to the beach or river or any place I know they would love! I currently live at home as I am in between my graduation and starting my second degree! So I have lots of free time! We have dogs and cats at home so I take care of them at home as well I do not have the capabilities to provide home service at this moment. I expect that to change within the next year however I would be providing services at your home!

About: I have been pet sitting for the past 3 years using Trusted House sitters. But grew up with dogs, have lived with cats the last 10 years and love being around all types of animals! I have watched a variety of pet with a range of needs. I love learning about the unique personality each animal has! I work a completely remote job as designers from 7 am - 3 pm PST. During these times, I have sporadic meetings, but nothing that would take me away from watching your animal for over nights. I am a flexible and great at adapting to different schedules and routines. I am an active person so am able to go for walks, hikes or runs based on your dogs needs. I am a naturally tidy person and I will leave your home exactly in the state as when you left. I am available to watch any type of pet in your home! I only can accept dogs in my home. I live on farm with a fenced in yard but outside of that there’s a lot of space to roam. I live with 3 other roommates who are also animal lovers. We live with a cat but he is outside most of the day and feels quite indifferent about dogs.

About: I've had pets ever since I was born but really started caring for them when I was about 5 years old. We've had every kind of pet from bunnies, birds, dogs, cats, chickens, hamsters, gerbils, rats, mice, lizards, etc etc. I've been doing sits for trusted house sitters for about 5 years. As I traveled around the country. I have five star reviews from every client. I'm not doing trusted house sitters as much now that I'm stationary in Santa Cruz. Fairly new to Santa Cruz. Working a couple days a week at The Bagelry, trying to decide if Santa Cruz is the place for me to put down roots. I make sure to meet the pets beforehand if possible and get as much information as I can about their needs so that I can make sure they feel comfortable and safe with me there while their owners are out of town. I'm flexible with whether or not they want to sleep with me and how their walks are and they're different eating schedules, and habits.

I grew up with a beagle and multiple cats, and now I have two bully breed dogs of my own. Caring for different breeds and personalities has taught me that every pet is unique and deserves patience, understanding, and individualized care. Owning bully breeds has also made me comfortable handling strong, energetic dogs while recognizing that they thrive with consistency, positive interactions, and plenty of love. I’m equally happy spending time with shy cats who need a calm presence or playful pets who want lots of attention. As a pet owner myself, I know how hard it can be to trust someone with your pets and your home. If someone were caring for my dogs, I’d want them to treat them like family, and that’s exactly how I’ll care for yours. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, medication, or simply someone to keep them company, my goal is to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved until you’re home. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I care for my own two dogs every day, including walks, feeding, playtime, enrichment, and making sure they get plenty of love and attention. Having had a cat as well, I’m also familiar with the routines and care that cats need.
