6. Anne-Marie M.
“Salt of the Earth, is what comes to mind when I think of Anne-Marie. Timing is everything. Close to ten years ago now, I had a new, fully-vaccinated puppy and I was so excited to get her out into the world and get her socialized. On one of our first outings to the dog park, I remember meeting a cute little tan puppy with a kind owner. Over time, we would run into them consistently, so a routine was developed, a crew was formed and a friendship developed. I am thankful for it, because she is truly one of the best people I know. After opening a business, I no longer had the ability to bring my dogs to the park. Anne-Marie kindly offered to pick up my girls and bring them to the park so they could still have their play time. I can't tell you how much this meant to me. On average, she picks them up four days a week. She is a clear communicator, patient, and level-headed. You can set a clock by Anne-Marie. If her schedule ever changes she lets me know well in advance.I've always been so impressed with how dedicated she is to her dog. She is diligent with exercising, cool and calm when he needs to be disciplined, consistent with their routine and very loving. Unfortunately, I don't have any children, so my Bostons are my everything, my husband a close second. I am grateful that I have someone that I can trust to take care of them. I hope you have the opportunity to have Anne-Marie take care of your dog. They will be in good hands.”

7. Anna D.
“Anna is definitely a cat person. As long as I’ve known her she always took care of her cat Klyopa and shared cute stories of him. I was able to see how she puts her cat’s wellbeing first and takes care of his physical and emotional needs. She knows how to connect with these pawed friends. The cats would be lucky to be in her care!”

8. Gretchen S.
“I am Gretchen's father so know her as well as anyone can, and can provide the strongest possible words of support for her. Throughout her childhood, the well-being and care of animals of all sorts was a main focus of hers. As she became an adult, she got a job as a veterinary technician and became the person in the family that I would go to for advice about any question I had about pet care, whether physical or emotional. She connects with animals at a deep level and goes to great lengths to ensure their comfort and happiness. Earlier this month (12/23), our 19-year-old cat Maggie was clearly reaching the end of her life. I called Gretchen and she drove down from Davis to be with her. Gretchen spent almost two full days with Maggie, sleeping with her to make sure that she was as comfortable as possible, and that there was nothing that could be done to prolong her life. Maggie passed in her arms. It was a tremendous gift both to Maggie and to all of us to have Maggie comforted in that manner in her last days. Gretchen will always the person I go to first when it comes to animal care.”

9. Travis R.
“We’ve asked Travis to watch out English Bulldog numerous times. He’s always done a great job and so supportive with our needy dog. I know that our Bulldog (Willy) has enjoyed spending time with him, maybe even more than us. I would highly recommend Travis and will be using him again in the future.”

10. Shaylyn R.

“Shaylyn loves animals. She takes very good care of all animals. She is responsible in walking, feeding and playing with them. She's worked for many people in taking care of their cats and dogs. She is definitely one to be trusted with your pet.”

11. Lupita C.

“Lupita was fantastic and communicative. She took great care of my kitties while I was away on a long trip and sent me plenty of updates and photos. Highly recommend!”

12. Ender D.
“Ender takes loving care of my dog Zero and four cats Samus, Hermione, Link and Zelda. Ender is very gentle and loving with the animals, and has experience giving them medication.”

13. Luna R.

“donna/luna was so awesome! she kept my apt clean and sent me the cutest pics of my cat sushi. i could tell they became great friends! thanks luna ?”

14. Erin D.
“I have known Erin as a pet owner for over 10 years. She is caring and attentive to her animal. She ensures the animal is safe and entertained. I have been walking my dog with her for almost 5 years and she manages both dogs well and is good at anticipating when caution is needed and creating extra opportunity for dog to frolic and explore. My dog loves her and she loves being with her.”

15. Kendra L.

“Kendra was able to help us out with a pretty last minute request and take care of our high energy pup and outdoor kitties. They all loved her! She is reliable and flexible and we'd be happy to have her back again...as would they! 🩷”

16. Shylynn B.

“Shylynn has been taking care of my kitties for almost 4 years now! I trust her completely with my cats and so thankful for her. She is always able to get my kitty his oral medicine daily. Sometimes she even leaves them new toys! ❤️ 🐱”

17. Julia A.
“Julia has watched our Goldie numerous times. I always feel more comfortable going out knowing Goldie will be well taken care of by Julia. Goldie is wary of new people, but took to Julia right away. Julia is a very responsible dog sitter and dog walker, and I do not have the slightest hesitation referring Julia to any of my friends who are looking for sitters. Your pet will be well-taken care of, and cherished, whenever they are with Julia.”

18. Kathleen B.
“Kathleen has been a dog lover ever since I've known her. She has been to my house many times and has love and joy for our dogs. She has watched many different Families and friends dogs over the years, weather it was over night at her house or there's. I would definitely recommend Kathleen as a dog caregiver.”

19. Lara J.

“I was leaving town for a week and needed a cat-sitter for my kinda shy cat. My cat had previously gone 3 days without touching her food while I was away, so I was concerned about leaving for such an extended period for the first time. Lara is totally cool and professional, and was flexible around the dates to come over and the distance. She was able to get my cat to come out of hiding and played with her (sending me a funny photo in the process) -- I'm sure this helped with my cat's appetite! I could totally relax while I was away from home for the first time as a pet owner.”

20. Annabelle B.

“Annabelle is wonderful with all animals. She was a foster dog parent for some time. Dogs love her especially because of her kindness and creative approach in meeting each dog’s needs. I recommend her highly for her exceptional care of your dog.”
