About: My first dogs were a Boerboel and a Great Dane. Since my husband is allergic, we now focus on non-shedding dogs. and were blessed to spend 2 wonderful years with our furbaby Thando. Thando was a poodle mix and suffered from MegaE and a number of other issues that led to him spending the last 6 months of his life with a feeding tube. While caring for a special needs dog was new for us, it has been the biggest blessing in our lives. We learned to enjoy each moment - running on the beach, tube-feeding at a winery, holding our furbaby up for long periods of time against regurgitation. After Mr T’s passing, we adopted a new furbaby into our family, Fritz. He is also a poodle and potentially Maltese mix who loves all dogs and people. About 8 months later, we adopted a sister for Fritz, Cleo. Cleo was already four years old when we adopted her but she is very playful and loves to wrestle with Fritz- even though she is three times his size. They are crazy about each other and have become inseparable. We love all sizes and ages of dogs, and would be happy to take your dog running or just chilling on the couch with us. We have a small fenced yard with a sandbox that we specially built for a home-based "dog beach", we are familiar with dog-friendly hikes, parks, restaurants and beaches in the area, and we would make your dog a part of our family for their stay. We'd love to meet you and your furbaby. I am home full-time with our two dogs (9 & 11 years) and two kids when they are not in school. We go for walks in the neighborhood or on the beach. I only look after dogs in my home and we only take non-shedding dogs. They become part of our family of two adults, two kids and two dogs.

About: I grew up in the country with many different animals, mostly rescues. I am very familiar and comfortable with caring for and training many different animals. I currently do independent work dictated by my own schedule. I am usually pretty flexible and able to take last minute requests for walks, pet care and training. I don't offer pet care in my home but I try to accommodate the unique needs of every animal with sensitivity and compassion. I'm very used to a wide range of animals, mostly rescues and some formerly abused animals.

About: I’ve grown up around and taken care of all kinds of animals . I truly love animals more than anything and want to give them the best care possible! I have 2 other jobs that need me Tuesday 9am to 2, and Thursday 9am to 9:30pm, Friday, Saturday and Sunday I’m available anytime before 4. I have 2 cats at my home and your animal would need to be friendly with cats in order for me to bring your dog over.

About: I was a dog owner for 10 years and want to spend more time with animals. I can walk your dog or pet sit and will make sure your pet gets all the attention and playtime they need. For pet sitting I will spend nights at your house and work remotely, letting me spend more time with your pets! I will also be sure to get your mail, water your plants and leave your house at least as clean as you left it. I will be sure to take great care of your pets and your house. I will send you updates with lots of pictures of your furry friends. I will likely be out of the house for a few hours at a time, but can be flexible to your pets needs. About: I have taken care of senior dogs, and cats with schedlued and specific needs. I love to ensure all animals feel the respect and care they deserve from any human. I respect animals space, body language, and boundaries very carefully. Nothing brings me more joy than ensuring an animal feels safe and porperly cared for. As a an artist that works from home, my scedule is very open and flexible making it easy to fit most animals' care into my schedule. I paint by day meaning I can pause at any time to take a pup for a walk or stop by to feed a kitty. I believe we are often our animals entire world, therefore it is important to make them feel spoiled. My cat enjoys her catio, window perches, treats and plethora of toys. Because she is still young, I make sure to give her plenty of play time. I would treat your animal like I am a temporary place-in for the adoration and care they usually get from you. It is hard for animals to understand why there might be a temporary replacement or a new person there to take care of them, so I ensure they know I am there to make them feel loved and well taken care of until their favorite person comes home.

About: Hello! I am a graduate student at UCSC who absolutely adores dogs and cats. I have always had animals around and have 20 years of experience caring for puppies and kitties of all ages. Due to my relatively flexible school schedule, I can easily accommodate pretty much any schedule. I am strong enough to handle large, excitable dogs and gentle enough to provide tender care to seniors and small animals as well! I also have a good deal of experience with walking cats on leash as well. In the past I have cared for (temporarily) disabled animals due to several "incidents" involving one of my cats trying to chase cars. About: I grew up around pets! from cats and dogs to chickens and horses, a love for animals has been fostered in me. I have been pet sitting and dog walking for friends and family the last couple years and I’m ready to branch out! My day job has unusual hours so my 9-5 is completely free! About: I’ve had dogs in my family my whole life, so I know that in addition to having the basic necessities met like food and using the bathroom, what they need most is love! I have lots of experience caring for dogs and used to walk a golden retriever and dachshund every day for a year. I’m currently working full-time, but I get off of work on the earlier side so I am available every weekday after 2:00pm and on the weekends I have full availability! About: I’ve been taking care of dogs while housesiting and babysitting since I was 15 years old. I have two dogs myself and Gio has 5 dogs and 4 cats that he takes care of I have school on Monday, and Wednesday. So I will only be available on those days after 4pm. I also have work from Thursday-Sunday from 5-9. If you would like a drop in visit please make sure to not put it for those times :) so it can work for both Of us :). I have a fenced yard for my dogs so they can play safely. the cats where inside cats because we live in the mountains and want them to be as safe possible. All my animals are potty trained. I enjoy and love being able to take my dogs to the beach or dog park.

About: I currently watch cats for friends who travel frequently and walk a dog regularly once or twice a week. Also I will travel to watch over pets and based in Santa Cruz, California. I often watch my son's dog while he is out of town in San Diego and have another regular also in San Diego. I do not have my own pet so I rely on the love and connection I make with other cats and dogs. I love animals and like to be with them. I am retired and have a free and flexible schedule. Will travel. Sometimes I could be available on short notice, especially for walks. There are several nice walking areas within five minutes drive and a park across the street. Prefer a weeks notice on overnights. I live in a 1st floor apartment with a small outside patio in a downtown environment with a park right across the street. I care for pets as needed and per instructions your home or mine.
