About: I have been taking care of my Labradoodle Mokka for the last 7 years! We have grown up together and she’s taught me so much. I helped train her when she was a puppy, and still help her daily now after she’s grown up. Along with that I have spent time around many different dog breeds amd sizes, and I have yet to find a dog that I can’t get along with. I love to walk , cuddle, and play with these pups any chance I get! Although I currently am in high school, I have time almost everyday after school. I am very flexible, so most times after around 3 works perfect for me! If a problem comes up, I will push to find a solution that is best for the client and myself. About: I've always taken care of my family and friend's dogs when needed, and I wanted to share that same hospitality with other pets! Previously, I've done some overnight dog sitting but I primarily do day time visits. My dog sitting has included going out for walks and playing in parks and feeding the dogs. Nothing crazy, but I enjoy meeting all different kinds of pets! My summer schedule is very free and flexible, which means I have lots of time to play with the pups! My mornings and afternoons tend to be most free on Monday through Fridays, and with proper planning I would also be able to do some weekends! Near my home, I have plenty of parks for dogs to roam around and play in, so they never feel too cooped up. Additionally, if I were to ever dog sit somewhere in the city, I know the streets well enough to know where it is safe for walking and what parks are good for playing in. Unfortunately, gone from 9am-4pm on Tues and Thurs (can stop by at noon though). Can do any night, if you are comfortable with your dog being alone for four hours at a time. August 28th-September 23rd: Downtown Santa Cruz, free any day, any time! Santa Cruz: I live in a studio attached to a house with a large front and back yard. Our backyard is fenced in and quite exciting for dogs to explore. We get lots of birds and squirrels, and sometimes a neighbor's cat comes by to visit. I would have your pet stay in my room on a cot, bed, or crate (I only have a cot and a small dog bed here). Kenwood: I live on a large property with my parents, where I could bring your pet home, and they could run forever. Everything is fenced in here; however would prefer bringing a smaller dog home. I am very open to staying in your home as well, for a greater price.

“Kathleen is wonderful, truly. It’s difficult to find someone you really feel comfortable leaving your pets with and if you have come across Kathleen you are a lucky one! Between my 2 dogs, one is very elderly (17 years old) and one has severe anxiety. Kathleen took excellent care of both of them and was communicative along the way with photos and daily updates. Both of my girls had a wonderful time while I was gone and I would absolutely not hesitate to leave them in Kathleen’s care again. Thank you Kathleen!”

“Valentina was a fantastic dog sitter for our two pit bull mix dogs. This was the first time we have left our dogs for a trip so we were a little nervous how it would work out. Before our trip we brought our dogs over to Valentina's to get to know her and her household. This was quite helpful for us and our dogs. For us as we were able to talk and have our questions answered. For the dogs because when we dropped them off this was a familiar place. Valentina touched base with use several times throughout the week to let us know how our pitties were getting along. I was pleased with the care our dogs received from Valentina. I recommend her.”

About: I have been taking care of my Labradoodle Mokka for the last 7 years! We have grown up together and she’s taught me so much. I helped train her when she was a puppy, and still help her daily now after she’s grown up. Along with that I have spent time around many different dog breeds amd sizes, and I have yet to find a dog that I can’t get along with. I love to walk , cuddle, and play with these pups any chance I get! Although I currently am in high school, I have time almost everyday after school. I am very flexible, so most times after around 3 works perfect for me! If a problem comes up, I will push to find a solution that is best for the client and myself. Overnight dog sitting or house sitting will not be possible except on weekends, because of school. I’m a very diligent person, and I follow directions carefully. I will give each client 100 % effort, both the owners and their loving pets. I want the pets to feel safe and comfortable, because that is my top priority. Although I will be responsible and careful with all my clients, I will make sure the animals are happy and recirving tons of love as well!

About: Growing up, I had a golden retriever named Daisy. Daisy is was from an organization I worked with called NorCal Golden Rescue. We fostered her for a couple of weeks but fell in love with her undeniable love and decided to adopt her. NorCal Golden Rescue mainly rescues golden retrievers who have been neglected and abandoned from the streets of Taiwan and bring them to the San Francisco Bay Area where they are paired with a fur-ever home. I have with dogs of all ages and temperaments from young lively puppies to old mellow senior citizen doggos. If need be I have experience with delivering oral and topical medication to dogs; as well as putting on the cone of shame :(. I love taking dogs out for adventures so if you don’t want your dog to be board, I’m your guy!

About: Hi! Thank you for taking the time to read my profile! Let's start at the beginning: My mother was a vet tech, so I basically grew up around animals. I've been dog sitting/walking for friends and family since I was 16 and have always found it to be a rewarding experience. This past year I became certified as a dog trainer in an effort to expand my knowledge of animal behaviors. I have definitely found this new knowledge to be extremely helpful with my business as a whole, not just with training. I currently have a Golden Retriever puppy named Calcifer. He's a little fireball and brings joy to my life every day! I'm a very friendly and outgoing individual with keen attention to detail. Your dog will be in great hands with me. Should you choose me, neither you nor your dog will regret it! Pet care is my full-time job. I know every pet owner has their typical schedule for their animals. I will work with you to have your pet's needs met. I care for your pets as if they are my own. I know that I would want my pet to be well cared for whilst I am away and I will use all of the experience I have gained in my career to keep yours happy and safe.
