I have had 3 dogs myself, the last one being a bully breed who taught me a great deal of how to work with dogs who require high management. I understand dog behaviors and idiosyncrasies and enjoy working with different personalities. I work from home so can keep eyes on your pup at most all times. I enjoy breaking up the day with a dog walk or training. I am happy to walk, run, play fetch, work on training or any other request during your pups stay. I enjoy spoiling dogs. But I also practice boundaries and behavioral expectations. My rate includes 2 walks a day and/or other exercise. I also provide a stuffed kong and other chewy toys unless you prefer they don't have ☺️ I am a proponent for dog parents to have a fi or gos collar for their pups. I think it's helpful for you as the owner to know where your pup is and the exercise they are getting as well, in an unfortunate/ unlikely event of getting out we can track them. I work from home so am available at most all times. I also have a half acre fenced yard If possible I'd like to do a meet and greet before sitting. About: Hi everyone! I’m just starting out on Rover but I’ve been a dog lover since day one. I have experience with dogs both big and small, in urban landscapes and suburban. I am attuned to their varying levels of energy, motivations, and comforts, all of which lets me form a quick bond with them! I’m a full time student at the UC, and work a part time job. Unfortunately, our hours at work were cut so until September, my schedule is relatively light! College dorms and apartments dont exactly have an abundance of dogs so I’ve been lacking in animal love. I hope to get my fill on Rover! My dogs have always been a part of the family, so that’s how I treat them! On my dog walks, I like to let them sniff all they want (but no eating!), I have no problem jogging if they’ve got some zoomies, and above all, I just want them to feel satisfied and ready to rest when they return home. I respect dogs as much as I respect people!

I have a lifelong experience with dogs; grew up with a German Sheppard mix and have been doing pet care exchanges with friends for the past 5 yrs. While boarding dogs at my house I always provided frequent updates to the owners. For boarding: my dog does best with dogs same size or smaller. I live in a house with a fenced in backyard, within a walking distance to the beach and Frederick St. dog park. I do cook for my dog and can do same for yours (or I adjust to your preferences). I’m dedicated to pet’s wellbeing and will ensure that your dog is safe, gets enough exercise and rest. My 16 yo son also loves playing with dogs. We all are looking forward to host your dog in our house (and/or go for walks together). I can’t say enough great things about Celeste! From the minute she first met Breezy, I knew this woman was special. Her communication with me was perfect! Updates, pictures, questions! One day she sensed, correctly, that Breezy was a little tired and didn’t want to go for a long walk. After texting me to ask if it was ok, she hung out in the yard and brushed sweet, tired Breezy and the pictures she sent made me jealous😂. Celeste will always be 1st on my list of dog walkers.
Sandra was wonderful with my sweetheart tank of a dog...It was their first visit together and I could tell it was a good match. Sandra took my dog for a long walk and knew how to stop her pulling as well as allowed her to sniff. Sandra communicated very well and I'm sure I'll ask for her help again.
Delaney is the BEST and such a sweet person. She took amazing care of Lucky and I’m so grateful for her help. She sent me adorable photos and videos of their adventures which I loved! It’s always stressful finding a new pet sitter because I want someone who not only keeps my pup safe but also loves him almost as much as I do, but that clearly wasn’t a worry with her. Delaney went above and beyond, highly recommend and will use her in the future! :)
