“Celeste was our regular dog walker for about a year. She's been incredibly in training our dog, caring for her needs, and coming up with new enrichment opportunities. Celeste is great to work with and I would highly recommend her services. She goes above and beyond.”
About: I grew up in the country with many different animals, mostly rescues. I am very familiar and comfortable with caring for and training many different animals. I currently do independent work dictated by my own schedule. I am usually pretty flexible and able to take last minute requests for walks, pet care and training. I don't offer pet care in my home but I try to accommodate the unique needs of every animal with sensitivity and compassion. I'm very used to a wide range of animals, mostly rescues and some formerly abused animals.
About: I've been around dogs and other animals my entire life. I've taken care of dogs in all shapes and sizes, including raising a Yorkshire Terrier puppy! I also have a lot of experience in taking care of cats, fish, chickens, and goats! I am truly in love with dogs. Where I'm staying I cannot have pets, and I miss my dogs at home so dang much! So it would be an honor to help folks out in the community that need some assistance taking care of their furry friends. I'm eager to work and dying to meet your dogs! :) FYI: My profile says "Prunedale" but I'm actually primarily based in Santa Cruz! I'm currently looking for work of all kinds right now, so I am very free and flexible. I am a musician in a band so I do lots of work with them but I can schedule around that very well. I will provide very active and attentive care for your pets. I understand that everyone's pets have their own special quirks and nuances, and I can learn and adapt to them very quickly. I will be asking you lots of questions leading up to my time caring for your pet as I want to ensure they will have the most safe, comfortable, and fun time as they can while you're away! I also have a valid driver's license and my own car so I can easily take them to the vet if need be. I will ensure they're walked as often as they need. Fed the correct food at the correct time, and that they are enriched and entertained as much as they need. And I can play them some soothing guitar tunes if that's something you think they would be interested in! Please consider me for taking care of your furry friends! :)
“Marley is clearly a dog whisperer. Bruna is a tough cookie and takes long to warm up to people but not with Marley. They were fast friends and she was very attentive to all of Bruna's quirks on their walk.”

“Jade is an absolute gem to work with! She was so attentive to our elder dogs many detailed needs. She communicates frequently, asking questions and letting us know how our little ones are doing. She sends plenty of sweet photos and really exhibits so much care. I recommend her without hesitation!”

About: I have taken care of senior dogs, and cats with schedlued and specific needs. I love to ensure all animals feel the respect and care they deserve from any human. I respect animals space, body language, and boundaries very carefully. Nothing brings me more joy than ensuring an animal feels safe and porperly cared for. As a an artist that works from home, my scedule is very open and flexible making it easy to fit most animals' care into my schedule. I paint by day meaning I can pause at any time to take a pup for a walk or stop by to feed a kitty. I believe we are often our animals entire world, therefore it is important to make them feel spoiled. My cat enjoys her catio, window perches, treats and plethora of toys. Because she is still young, I make sure to give her plenty of play time. I would treat your animal like I am a temporary place-in for the adoration and care they usually get from you. It is hard for animals to understand why there might be a temporary replacement or a new person there to take care of them, so I ensure they know I am there to make them feel loved and well taken care of until their favorite person comes home.
“Jasmine helped us out while I am recovering from surgery. She did a wonderful job with our enthusiastic large dog. Jasmine knows how to handle large breed dogs and is very enthusiastic and gave our pup loving care.”

“We are so grateful to Yajaira. Both of our pups love her, which is saying a lot because both have refused walks with other walkers. She has been reliable, easy to communicate with, and flexible.Thank you Yajaira!”

About: I’ve been an animal lover my whole life—growing up with cats, fish, dogs, and even turtles. In 2015, I started dog sitting, and it’s been such a joy getting to know pups of all personalities and sharing my love with them. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs in so many ways—from puppy visits 5 days a week, to quick pop-ins, to full home-sitting care. Whether it’s a bouncy ball of energy or a laid-back snuggle buddy, I meet each pet where they are and make sure they feel loved, safe, and happy. I’ll love your animals as much as my own—which, as a childless millennial, is saying a lot! You can count on me for reliability, kindness, and a whole lot of tail wags. My flexible work schedule makes it easy to fit pet care into my day. Whether your pet needs morning walks, midday playtime, or evening cuddles, I can adjust my routine to match their needs. This flexibility allows me to give them the time, attention, and care they deserve—just like I would with my own pets. When I’m home sitting, I make sure your pets feel safe, loved, and comfortable—keeping their routine as close to normal as possible. From walks, playtime, and meals to extra cuddles on the couch, I’m there to give them all the attention they need. For dog walking, I tailor the pace and route to each dog—whether they love long adventures or a gentle stroll around the block—making sure they get exercise, fresh air, and plenty of sniff breaks. With pop-in visits, I provide quick but meaningful care: feeding, potty breaks, playtime, and a little extra love before I go, so they’re happy until you return.
“Calista was great! My rescue is very timid around new people, but not with Calista! He trusted her from the very first meet and greet! She went above and beyond during his walks and even brought in packages that were left on my porch. She will be my dog walker as long as she is available :)”

About: I have had Great Danes my whole life, and currently have a Great Dane and a Saint Bernard - as well as 3 cats! I have experience with dogs ranging from Chihuahuas to Border Collies to Great Danes! I have experience with basic training (sit, stay, heel, leave it, gently taking food) and some agility training. Very familiar with potty training!! I currently work during the week, but am able to visit before work (prior to 7am) and after work (5:30pm - 10pm), and full time care on the weekends. I am offering walkies and play time, both in fenced yards and those without yard space. If you already have a favorite dog park, I can take your dog there, but won’t go to a dog park if you’ve never been (up to owner comfort level!) Both cats and dogs get all the snuggles they want, with play time and games to keep their brains active and engaged, with down time to prevent overstimulation.
Seabright dog parents share their Rover experiences
Grady was excellent with my dog Apollo! He was very quick with communication, and agreed to meet up to go over instructions and care for Apollo before walking him. He was very affectionate with Apollo, which was great since my dog loves attention and engagement. He went above and beyond with the walk, and was good about following the instructions I gave him. I'd definetly have grady walk apollo again!

Rose is a great Dog Walker! I was very happy with Rose as a dog walker. From the very first meeting, it was clear that she’s responsible, caring, and truly loves dogs. She quickly built a great connection with my dog, was attentive to her needs, and kept me updated after each walk. I came back to a happy and relaxed dog. Highly recommend Rose – I’ll definitely be reaching out to her again in the future!
