“Marley is great and spent the time talking with me prior to her first walk with Cooper. She left notes and pictures so we were looped in on how his walk went :)”
2. JKathleen W.
“I can't recommend JKathleen (Tanner) enough as a pet sitter and dog walker. She took care of my two dogs—Max, a lovable but energetic Border Collie, and Bella, my sweet and slightly shy Labrador Retriever—and I was blown away by how well she handled them. Max is always on the go, and Bella can be a little hesitant around new people, but Tanner took the time to connect with both of them. She instantly made them feel at ease with her calm and gentle nature. Throughout the time she spent with them, I received regular updates with adorable photos and messages. It was clear that Tanner went above and beyond to ensure Max and Bella had a great time, whether it was going for a run in the park or enjoying a calm cuddle session. Her attention to their individual personalities and needs was truly impressive. Tanner’s love for animals shines through in everything she does. She’s responsible, caring, and truly treats pets like her own. If you want someone who will take great care of your furry family members, I wholeheartedly recommend Tanner.”

About: I've been doing freelance and company animal care work for over 4 year. I have enjoyed working with all types dog and cats of any age my whole life. I new from a very young age that I would love to have full time job working with pets. I have 4 rescues of my own. My oldest pup is a Boxer I rescued when he was 2 months old. He was a super neglected and malnourished. I was able to get him back to health with in a few months. He is now 5 years old and is one of the happiest pups in the world. My other pup my boyfriend and I took in when she was a couple days old. She was weaned early causing behavioral problems as a puppy. We decided to start bottle feeding her again until she was of age, and started working on her behavior with a specialist weekly. She is really one of the sweetest German Shepard pups I've had. She is now a year old, and has made a lot of progress since we rescued her. I also have two, year old, rescue kittens both taken in around a few days old, which I also nursed and bottle fed until they were able to care for themselves. I am so proud that all of them turned out to be very sweet, happy, and health. Working in animal care I have also gain experience not only with handling but with sanitization and administering different types medications to owners specific standers. I have administer oral medications to pets such as liquid or pills, injections such as insulin, and epi-pens if needed. I have also been trained to clean and inspect certain wounds. I am also very good at learning by example. I am currently working full-time a an animal care facility in Live Oak. I have two set days on Mondays and Tuesdays, that I would be able to check in or walk you pet. I would also be willing to try and accommodate to certain customer needs. I have two dogs and a cat. Since I live in a rental, unfortunately, I am not able to do boarding in my home at this time.
18. Jordan S.
About: My love of dogs is lifelong--our family dog was a Boxer named Maggie who snored like a tractor. Ever since then I have loved pet sitting for family and friends. I live in an apartment currently and don't feel like it's the right time for a dog of my own, but I can provide experienced care to your four-legged family member. Please note: I live on the third floor up. If your dog is elderly or has mobility issues with stairs this won’t be a good fit. I currently work from home, which makes my availability flexible. The best times for me to care for pets are at lunchtime and in the evening/overnight. I am extremely responsible and use supervision and good judgment to ensure the safety of your pets inside of my home, and outside my home during walks and play dates.
