About: Experienced dog owner and sitter. Studied dog psychology to become a good dog parent. Had two female spaniels who passed earlier this year. We used to compete in dog frisbee and hunt. Also have experience working in a grooming salon, as well as walking and boarding various size dogs - from labs and German shepherds to Jack Russel terriers and mini Aussies. Additionally at no cost I can provide basic behavioural training and teach new tricks - I love to communicate with dogs of any breed and move in one rhythm with them. But safety and well-being is my main focus and if your dog doesn't want too much activity, I can provide a more mellow experience, too. “Yuliya is definitely a cat person, and our cats took to her right away! Our older cat Plum can be a little prickly if overstimulated, so seeing pictures of her rubbing up against Yuliya’s leg made me feel secure that my cat felt comfortable and safe. We also loved seeing photos of our younger, more active cat Lyra getting plenty of play time and affection. She understood and expressed the importance of routines for cats, especially when their people are away, and her care for our cats reflected that. Our cats have a fairly complicated food routine, and Yuliya did well adhering to it. Part way through our trip, she noticed that one of our cat’s food was running low, let us know, and even measured out how many portions were left to ensure there would be enough to last the rest of our trip. We are the type of cat owners who appreciate very detailed visit summaries, and it would’ve been great to have had a little more of that, but we did receive lots of photos and enough written updates to feel that our cats were in safe and caring hands. About: Dogs have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I have owned and cared for two dogs, including one who lived to the remarkable age of 22. My current dog is 15 years old and still acts like a puppy, giving me valuable experience caring for both senior dogs and energetic companions. I take extra precautions when walking your dog near other dogs and with allowing pets outdoors where wild predators can be nearby. I am very aware of other dogs and will not allow to approach unless previously known. My availability changes. Sometimes I work remotely from home doing business office support for clients. This affects the type of pet care assignments that I may accept due to logistics and pet needs. I care for pets in your home only and take dogs on outings and employ daily frequent play and walks. About: I have taken care and have 2 dogs/ 1 cat of my own that I actively care for. Also I have taken care of my family friends farm with all kinds of animals for days on end including walking, feeding, letting them out and in, etc. I also just love animals and love taking care of them! I work part time but normally only 4 hour shifts so i’m very flexible and can visit your animals multiple times throughout the day as well as working. I also only work around 3 days a week so i’m very available for the most part! In my home my dad has a service dog who is very well trained and also has a crate your pup could go in.
