QI noticed how sad Arisha was and made specialized chicken and carrot meals for her that Arisha thoroughly loved. Arisha is also afraid of dogs, but while QI sits multiple dogs at once, she was able to socialize Arisha with all the other dogs to a point where Arisha joined the pack and started hanging out with them more, which is close to a miracle. Your dog's sleeping arrangement: We to keep your dogs patterns as close to the way they are at home as possible. If your dog sleeps in their own bed or crate we will honor that. Typically their bed is in our room or the living room. We allow dogs on our bed, and have a dedicated dog couch so they can relax in the living room and are treated like a member of the family. My partner Brian’s schedule has recently changed so we can only board weekends, or possibly over a long weekend: We can take a Friday evening drop off at 5pm earliest, and can schedule a Monday morning pickup until 10 am or so. We live in a quiet, low-traffic beach neighborhood of Aptos, with a front and back fenced in yard, a two minute walk to a dog friendly beach, and 5 minute drive to a redwoods state park. The backyard is shared with my awesome neighbor who own a dog. The backyard has a fence that is split down the middle, and he is kept on his side of the fence. He is only let outside occasionally, under supervised conditions. We do not allow guests dogs into the backyard when he is present, until we have had time to properly introduce them. He is friendly, but we always take care to introduce dogs. Our front yard has a low fence so our guest dogs are only allowed in the front yard under supervision, the backyard has a much higher fence, and we have a sliding glass door so they can go outside easily. We can crate your dog if needed. Both yards have shade, flower gardens, and are wonderful places to take a nap in the sun.

I’ve also owned cats with diabetes that required insulin daily, neurotic quirky animals we’ve had to adapt to, chickens, goats, sheep, bearded dragons and other reptiles. We are an active family. About: I have been a lifelong dog owner. I enjoy the exercise and would love to walk your dog either around the neighborhood or in a dog park or in one of the numerous open spaces around Aptos. As a retiree, I enjoy the exercise of getting my daily walk with my own dog. I would love to do the same with your dog to keep your dog exercised and to keep up my exercise regimen. At my home, I have a young dog with a fenced in yard on a cul-de-sac neighborhood in Aptos. I live near a big open space and I am also happy to walk your dog in your local neighborhood where your dog will be most comfortable.

For cat owners - I have everything for cat in my apartment (cat toilet, sketchers, toys) FYI I have to cats. They are really nice to other animals. However, If your dog is chasing cats or is aggressive, I cannot dog sitting.

“QI took great care of Arisha. Arisha is a shy dog and it takes time for her to get used to new places. QI noticed how sad Arisha was and made specialized chicken and carrot meals for her that Arisha thoroughly loved. Arisha is also afraid of dogs, but while QI sits multiple dogs at once, she was able to socialize Arisha with all the other dogs to a point where Arisha joined the pack and started hanging out with them more, which is close to a miracle. Thank you QI for the wonderful care, Arisha came back home energetic and happy. I'll be happy to book again next time I have the need.”
