About: I work as a veterinary assistant ( an unlicensed veterinary technician) at a local veterinary clinic and have been in the field for the last ten years. About: I have been pet sitting for the past 3 years using Trusted House sitters. But grew up with dogs, have lived with cats the last 10 years and love being around all types of animals! I have watched a variety of pet with a range of needs. I love learning about the unique personality each animal has! I work a completely remote job as designers from 7 am - 3 pm PST. During these times, I have sporadic meetings, but nothing that would take me away from watching your animal for over nights. I am a flexible and great at adapting to different schedules and routines. I am an active person so am able to go for walks, hikes or runs based on your dogs needs. I am a naturally tidy person and I will leave your home exactly in the state as when you left. I am available to watch any type of pet in your home! I only can accept dogs in my home. I live on farm with a fenced in yard but outside of that there’s a lot of space to roam. I live with 3 other roommates who are also animal lovers. We live with a cat but he is outside most of the day and feels quite indifferent about dogs.

About: I have had experience with feeding my friends and neighbors cats when they were away on vacation, but nothing professional. I do not have any training skills, but have dealt with temperamental cats who do not like sharing their space. I have had dogs and cats in my family since I was a child. We had small dogs as well as medium/large dogs and cats. I currently have 2 cats at home! I work full time Monday - Friday so this would be causal meetings and walks. I can feed them dinner or hang with them on week nights. That could be playing with them at their home, taking them to a dog park, or taking them for a walk. My weekends are wide open and I can hang out with your little dude whenever you need :). Unless otherwise specified in my schedule! I live in a one bedroom apartment that is quite spacious with a patio. There are cat toys and scratch posts everywhere. The patio is a catio, which is equipped with cat towers and cat grass. I play fetch with my tempermental boy because it gets his energy out very quickly and he LOVES it. My girly girl is very easy and plays with almost anything. I am more than happy to play with your kitty however they would like. For dogs, I will hang out and play with them at their house or take them to a dog park to get fresh air and more room to run. Fetch is a favorite as well as tug of war! I can take them on long walks around the neighborhood or the beach if the owner is ok with that!

Yuliya is definitely a cat person, and our cats took to her right away! Our older cat Plum can be a little prickly if overstimulated, so seeing pictures of her rubbing up against Yuliya’s leg made me feel secure that my cat felt comfortable and safe. We also loved seeing photos of our younger, more active cat Lyra getting plenty of play time and affection. She understood and expressed the importance of routines for cats, especially when their people are away, and her care for our cats reflected that. Our cats have a fairly complicated food routine, and Yuliya did well adhering to it. Part way through our trip, she noticed that one of our cat’s food was running low, let us know, and even measured out how many portions were left to ensure there would be enough to last the rest of our trip. We are the type of cat owners who appreciate very detailed visit summaries, and it would’ve been great to have had a little more of that, but we did receive lots of photos and enough written updates to feel that our cats were in safe and caring hands.
