Cat Sitting in Aptos

About: Hello, I was raised with every pet from dogs to snakes. While I am new using Rover, I have done pet sitting all throughout my adult life. I love all animals and hope to spend time with yours! I have taken care of cats my whole life but have spent the past few years in school for law and showing dogs professionally. This comes with experience in whelping litters, emergency and primary vet care, transport, nutrition, conditioning/exercise, training, cleaning and general care for dogs. I also have fostered for many years in both California and Arizona which comes with experience in temperament evaluation and training, medications, quarantining pets when necessary and working with very young and very old animals. While I have a lot of experience in taking care of pets, I respect that everyone has a right to do it differently, and keep an open mind in how to care for pets. I always follow directions from the owner even if they conflict with how I take care of my own pets as long as it is not directly harming the pet. I am currently on a year long break between undergraduate and law school to help care for my mother, so I have plenty of time to pet cats and drop by as needed. I always prioritize the pet's happiness and wellbeing. While I love interacting with cats, I am also totally understanding if there is a cat that wants space. I also am aware from prior pet sitting experience that sometimes a pet can behave differently when their owners are not home, so I try to take every precaution when it comes to their safety. I am aware of the foods and plants that are harmful as well as what a cat can safely play with. I also know how to properly clean and sanitize messes that a pet can make such as urine, feces and vomit. I have worked with raw pet food so am well versed in how to minimize contamination. I also have strict sanitation procedures from my dog showing days that I always follow between handling different pets. I also always carry with me a basic vet care bag and am able to treat light burns, small cuts and flush out eyes if need be. In the case however that any medical assistance may be necessary, I always check with the owner beforehand with what they want me to do.

About: I have had animals most of my like although I don't have any right now due to my seasonal work in Alaska. I will take care of your fur babies like they were my own. While I'm in California my schedule is completely flexible. I can come as often as you like or stay the whole time. I love animals and love spending my time with them. I will show your animals all the love and affection they want. If they are more of a loner, some cats are definitely loners, then I will just give them attention when they want it. I will stick to whatever your routine is so we don't cause them any stress.

About: My family had a pit bull/boxer mix up until recently. I was her number one care taker and her favorite human. I love all sizes of dogs and cats! I have local references upon request. I am currently working part time, so I have lots of flexible time available to spend giving your dogs, cats and farm animals the very best of care! I provide a complete variety of pet services in your home. I am overly cautious about safety in and out of the home. I take extra precautions when walking your dog near other dogs and with allowing pets outdoors where wild predators can be nearby. I am very aware of other dogs and will not allow to approach unless previously known. My availability changes. Sometimes I work remotely from home doing business office support for clients. This affects the type of pet care assignments that I may accept due to logistics and pet needs. I care for pets in your home only and take dogs on outings and employ daily frequent play and walks. Your pets get lots of attention!

About: I’ve taken care of both dogs and cats for many years and have really enjoyed it. Family and friends have relied on me to be there for their furry companions and I have not let them down. I do whatever it takes to make sure they are treated the way I would treat my own. Pet care fits into my everyday routine seamlessly. When someone needs my help, I am there with no questions asked. About: Animals feel our energy and respond accordingly. I am truly an animal lover. My first dog was a West Highland White Terrier which lived to be 18 years old. She was a happy girl. Each animal, loved one, should be treated with love and care. I am currently available for dog waking seven days a week. My schedule is flexible allowing me to be available to give your babies lots of love and attention. Pets' safety is always number one. I give each baby undivided attention and lots of love. About: I’m an experienced pet owner and have cared for my own dog for 13 years now. Along with dogs I have owned/cared for cats, rats, and lizards. When I was younger I worked on a farm and developed a deep love for animals. I live a very active lifestyle and would be stoked to take your pet out for walks, runs, hikes, and beach day swimming! I have a large vehicle which has easy transportation for bigger dogs. My home is on wheels which makes it easy to move around to meet your home sitting needs. My normal work week is Monday-Friday in Capitola. I’m not able to host animals in my home.
