About: My love of dogs is lifelong--our family dog was a Boxer named Maggie who snored like a tractor. Ever since then I have loved pet sitting for family and friends. I live in an apartment currently and don't feel like it's the right time for a dog of my own, but I can provide experienced care to your four-legged family member. Please note: I live on the third floor up. If your dog is elderly or has mobility issues with stairs this won’t be a good fit. I currently work from home, which makes my availability flexible. The best times for me to care for pets are at lunchtime and in the evening/overnight. I am extremely responsible and use supervision and good judgment to ensure the safety of your pets inside of my home, and outside my home during walks and play dates.
18. Laura E.
“Laura was a wonderful sitter for our kitty. She was extremely communicative, gave us real-time updates on her timing and the visit, and left a great summary of her visit and how our kitten was doing with a number of photos. Laura is responsible and responsive and clearly a real lover of animals. We'd recommend her to any caring pet owners!”

About: All of my life I have had dogs, ranging from small pomeranians to pitbulls. I’ve always had passion for working and taking care of my own and others, as I’ve had pet sat and volunteered at the Rancho Coastal Humane Society in San Diego. I will always commit to following your care instructions provided and the responsibilities of taking care of your pet. I’m currently a full time college student, but before or after my classes during weekdays as well as weekends my schedule can be pretty flexible to fit to your dog’s needs. Weekday Availability: Before 12pm or after 5pm Weekend Availability: very flexible!! I can come to your home to take care of your dog/s. Whether that be feeding them their meal/giving them medication, taking them on a walk in your area/the beach/a local park, and or ensuring they get all the exercise/play time and attention they need!

About: I've been doing freelance and company animal care work for over 4 year. I have enjoyed working with all types dog and cats of any age my whole life. I new from a very young age that I would love to have full time job working with pets. I have 4 rescues of my own. My oldest pup is a Boxer I rescued when he was 2 months old. He was a super neglected and malnourished. I was able to get him back to health with in a few months. He is now 5 years old and is one of the happiest pups in the world. My other pup my boyfriend and I took in when she was a couple days old. She was weaned early causing behavioral problems as a puppy. We decided to start bottle feeding her again until she was of age, and started working on her behavior with a specialist weekly. She is really one of the sweetest German Shepard pups I've had. She is now a year old, and has made a lot of progress since we rescued her. I also have two, year old, rescue kittens both taken in around a few days old, which I also nursed and bottle fed until they were able to care for themselves. I am so proud that all of them turned out to be very sweet, happy, and health. Working in animal care I have also gain experience not only with handling but with sanitization and administering different types medications to owners specific standers. I have administer oral medications to pets such as liquid or pills, injections such as insulin, and epi-pens if needed. I have also been trained to clean and inspect certain wounds. I am also very good at learning by example. I am currently working full-time a an animal care facility in Live Oak. I have two set days on Mondays and Tuesdays, that I would be able to check in or walk you pet. I would also be willing to try and accommodate to certain customer needs. I have two dogs and a cat. Since I live in a rental, unfortunately, I am not able to do boarding in my home at this time.
