About: My name is Jana and I am a big time animal lover! I grew up with alaskan malamutes, hermit crabs, freshwater fish, and currently have 2 cats (Mactavish and Charley). I have experience with dogs and cats of all ages and sizes, with specifics in senior and large dogs. I currently am on summer break and not working, so my availability is open and super flexible! I am free from 7am-8pm Sunday-Friday! Because I have cats that live at my home, I cannot offer boarding. However, I am happy to do drop-ins at your home. I am always very respectful of the places I visit and can offer whatever care your pet needs.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs, big and small alike all my life. I grew up with a boxer and a golden retriever in the home so I’m accustomed to the joy of having pets in the house. More recently I’ve pet sat for families who have homes in Europe, and would go visit during the holidays. I’ve been caring for this elderly dog in particular for over 10 years. He’s a sweet tempered dog but takes medicine everyday so I’ve become well adept at hiding his meds inconspicuously to get him to eat it without any problems. I also love working with puppies and find that caring for younger dogs is a lot of fun, and is exciting too! I love aussies, border collies, and spaniels but find that I can get along with just about any breed. I’m the type of person to always stop to ask to pet your dog on walks, and love showering dogs with affection and love. One of my favorite past times, is letting a dog run free off leash, and play frisbee with him or her. I’d love to provide loving, friendly, and fun care to your furry friend and I look forward to our first paw-shake! Currently in school, but available after and before classes start-and free on weekends! I’m in school, but I have plenty of time to run around and meet your pets. I would look forward to days pet sitting, or walking, and would love to meet you and your pets! I care for pets mainly in your home, I find it easiest because some pets can get flustered in new environments. I strive to get to know them and build trust by being in their home turf to see all their favorite toys, and where they feel most comfortable. I look forward to seeing how they play and grow at their most comfortable!

About: I have been caring for my 13 year old dog, Molly, for 11 years. I am also an active volunteer at the county animal shelter, working with dogs (1,000+ hours) and cats (400+ hours). I have a special place in my heart for dogs with behavioral and medical needs, and working with them at the shelter has taught me patience and skills that help to make the animals more comfortable. I also have training in puppy care, senior dog care, walking leash-sensitive dogs, and caring for injured animals. About: Greetings! My name is Teresa and I am a true dog lover. I have over 20 years of experience caring for my many dogs (I have owned/loved 10 dogs over the years...up to five at one time!) as well as watched their 'cousins' when needed...which has been frequent ;). I will come into your home and follow whatever regimen you require and desire for your pooches so you and they are as comfortable as possible while you are away. I know how incredibly difficult it can be to find caring and trustworthy people to watch one's canine babies while owners are away--this is my way to give back and help fellow pup parents with this issue. My schedule is very flexible so I can generally be very accommodating to meet your and your fur babies needs. I live alone in my apartment 2 blocks from Twin Lakes. We have Schwan Lagoon trails, and an assortment of beach walks close by. I have a nice sunny balcony with bed/cot and many dog neighbors. If they love people, I have no problem taking them out to socialize.

About: As a massage therapist for over 25 years, I have worked on horses, cats, and dogs as well as people. I include FREE therapeutic massage to pets I care for. I've always had a dog and have been very honored to work with and care for dogs. I have owned and worked with dominant breed dogs, sharing with their owners how to support best behavior when asked. I understand canine psychology and genuinely love dogs. When I work, it's online via Zoom so I am available to be physically present for your animal(s) 100%. I am an avid hiker/ walker and I'm up early. I enjoy playing with and giving them attention. I have a calm presence which puts animals at ease, yet I understand how to manage challenging behaviors, should they arise. I follow your requests and preferences. I walk dogs early and usually at least twice a day. I maintain awareness and listen for signs to take them outside to go potty or walk, allowing them to sniff around. Once dogs realize I'm a 'pack leader' they usually feel more safe and challenges disappear. Right now I am not able to have a dog in my home. About: My name is Jennie. I grew up on a farm in Eastern Washington. We had tons of animals, including many different types of dogs, big and small. We regularly took in rescue animals and pets with special needs. I now live in Santa Cruz, and I have a sixteen year old muggin (pug/min-pin) named Genghis. I'm new to the area, and I'm looking to work with pets of all types. I have regular and occasional availability. I offer dog walking, petsitting and house-sitting services. I am experienced with animals of all ages and stages, from puppies and kittens, to senior cats and pups. I am able to administer oral and topical medications, and I am happy to offer health monitoring for pets who are under veterinary care. While I do not offer full grooming services, basic bathing is in my wheel house. Whatever your pets need to be happy, healthy, and comfortable is what I want to provide! I know that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. In an effort to offer greater security to my clients, I maintain my own pet/housesitter insurance policy, independent from any coverage provided by Rover. My schedule is very flexible. I am new to the area, and I'm looking to establish both regularly scheduled and occasional clients. For petsitting clients, I can be available for 2 visits per day. For walks, I accept same day appointments, as well as recurring advanced bookings. I aim to always provide the same level of loving care to pets as their humans would, if they were home. To this end, I like to get detailed instructions regarding feeding schedule, play preferences, and personality. It is my commitment to my clients to follow their instructions to the letter. When it comes to adventures outside of the home, safety is my #1 priority. I want your pups to have a great time, and to do that, they've got to be safe. For this reason, I do not take pups to off leash areas, when other dogs are present. There are just far too many risks to take into account with unfamiliar dogs around. Keeping dogs on-leash in group settings offers me a greater amount of control and ability to protect them, in the even that we are approached by another unfamiliar dog while out and about.
