About: I have specific skills in fostering kittens, working with senior dogs and caring for them overnight, walking energetic and crazy dogs, and training with puppies. I can squeeze pet care into my schedule whenever. I am pretty flexible in schedule and am willing to work with you for whatever you need. In my home, I do not have pets because I live in a studio. About: As a massage therapist for over 25 years, I have worked on horses and dogs as well as people. I include FREE therapeutic massage to pets I care for. I've always had a dog and have been very honored to work with and care for dogs. I have owned and worked with dominant breed dogs, sharing with their owners how to support best behavior when asked. I understand canine psychology and genuinely love dogs. I am currently 'on-call' to work Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays from 10 am to 6 pm. I limit this to 3 massages per day, so I'm not gone all day. Other than that I am available for your dog(s). I am an avid hiker/ walker and I'm up early. I have a calm presence which puts animals at ease, yet I understand how to manage challenging behaviors. I walk dogs early and usually twice a day. I maintain awareness and listen for signs to take them outside to go potty or walk, allowing them to sniff around. Once dogs realize I'm a 'pack leader' they usually feel more safe and challenges disappear. Right now I am not able to have a dog in my home. Boarding pups generally have access to the house with lights out from about 9 pm to 6 am, and a potty walks right before bed and first thing in the morning while my coffee brews. Your pup can count on at least an hour of daily exercise—often more—and will be fed according to your established routine, with fresh water always available. When I’m home, pups are free to roam the house and enclosed courtyard, enjoying companionship and comfort alongside me.

About: My household has been full of dogs since I was young, and I grew up bathing, feeding, and walking dogs of a variety of sizes and ages. My experience encompasses a wide range of sizes from boxers to golden doodles, as well as all ages from under 1 year to senior. Unfortunately I am not available for boarding as I have my own full household of pets, however I am available for house sitting every night of the week outside of Fridays. I am available for drop-in visits and dog walking after 12pm Sat-Thurs, and after 2pm on Fridays. I have a fenced in backyard in which my dogs are never left unattended due to various reasons such as environmental allergies and hazards such as extreme sun exposure. If there is no fenced in environment, all outside play or activity will need to be leashed due to the California leash law.

Makayla was a great sitter. She sent me pictures which really helped me while I was out of town. She gave my cat the space he needed and he felt very comfortable going about his routine with her. He had 3 times a day feedings with special instructions to open windows for him and let him go on my porch when she got there so he can eat grass and get a little fresh air. She followed them all to make my boy as comfortable as can be. My recommendation is to definitely hire her if she’s available. Thank you Makayla!
Haley is so great and does such a wonderful job watching our cat (Tiny). This our second time booking with Haley and she is very nice, communicative, and easy to work with. We will definitely be booking with Haley in the future any time we have to leave Tiny at home.
