About: I grew up in the country with many different animals, mostly rescues. I am very familiar and comfortable with caring for and training many different animals. I currently do independent work dictated by my own schedule. I am usually pretty flexible and able to take last minute requests for walks, pet care and training. I don't offer pet care in my home but I try to accommodate the unique needs of every animal with sensitivity and compassion. I'm very used to a wide range of animals, mostly rescues and some formerly abused animals.

Having six years of experience as a vet tech, six years of experience caring for pets professionally, and caring for my personal furry companions animals for over 6o years, I bring an exceptional blend of experience, care, and responsibility to my pet care. I have a huge heart for cats and dogs and love to see them happy in their environment. My sensitive nature allows me to be highly attuned to animals and their needs. Others have often commented on my ability to anticipate the needs of people and animals before they are aware of them. I believe in the health and wellbeing of all living things. When your animal is under my care, you can be assured they are receiving the nurturing and care they deserve. I am available for walking, visits, boarding, and more. Please inquire for your particular needs and desires for your pet in your absence. I would be happy to keep your pet loved and safe while you are away. Injections, special needs, training/rehabilitation I am in a very open and expansive time currently in life. I am widely available round the clock for your pets needs. I am available daytime, evenings, and weekends. I do not have a fenced yard on the property I live on in the country, so when boarding with me, dogs will be on leash when outdoors. They will enjoy the many walks they will have around here. When at your home, I take care of your fur baby and belongs with the utmost respect and safety.

About: (I go by Sam!) I’ve grown up taking care of my own and family friend’s cats, small to medium-large dogs, chickens, guinea pigs, hamsters, and rabbits. Often multiple at one time. The bond with animal is unlike any other! I’ve also spent time working in gardens, I can take care of chickens as well as houseplants along with animals. Here with me for college are my two cats Jinkies and Pugsly—one of whom I’m currently training to go on walks! I am currently not working but a full time student as ucsc. I drive and have a large car I’m comfortable transporting car trained animals in. I’m free most afternoons except Tuesday and Thursday. I cannot offer in home care, but I am happy to take care of your animals at your home or enjoy quality outdoor time with them.

About: My name is Ariana and I am currently a stay at home mother of a 3 year old. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life and currently have a 4 year old pit bull mix who was rescued and that we raised from a pup. My daughter and I love animals and especially love hanging out with and taking our dog and any other dogs on walks. I grew up in Santa Cruz and know all the beautiful trails and places to take dogs. I am free most days and taking my daughter out for adventures so it is easy to bring a dog along to get some exercise, fun and outdoor time. I have a large fenced yard so am able to play and run around with your fur baby. I always have clean water available for drinking and make sure to bring some with me on walks

About: Hi everyone! I’m just starting out on Rover but I’ve been a dog lover since day one. I have experience with dogs both big and small, in urban landscapes and suburban. I am attuned to their varying levels of energy, motivations, and comforts, all of which lets me form a quick bond with them! I’m a full time student at the UC, and work a part time job. Unfortunately, our hours at work were cut so until September, my schedule is relatively light! College dorms and apartments dont exactly have an abundance of dogs so I’ve been lacking in animal love. I hope to get my fill on Rover! My dogs have always been a part of the family, so that’s how I treat them! On my dog walks, I like to let them sniff all they want (but no eating!), I have no problem jogging if they’ve got some zoomies, and above all, I just want them to feel satisfied and ready to rest when they return home. I respect dogs as much as I respect people!

About: My first dogs were a Boerboel and a Great Dane. Since my husband is allergic, we now focus on non-shedding dogs. and were blessed to spend 2 wonderful years with our furbaby Thando. Thando was a poodle mix and suffered from MegaE and a number of other issues that led to him spending the last 6 months of his life with a feeding tube. While caring for a special needs dog was new for us, it has been the biggest blessing in our lives. We learned to enjoy each moment - running on the beach, tube-feeding at a winery, holding our furbaby up for long periods of time against regurgitation. After Mr T’s passing, we adopted a new furbaby into our family, Fritz. He is also a poodle and potentially Maltese mix who loves all dogs and people. About 8 months later, we adopted a sister for Fritz, Cleo. Cleo was already four years old when we adopted her but she is very playful and loves to wrestle with Fritz- even though she is three times his size. They are crazy about each other and have become inseparable. We love all sizes and ages of dogs, and would be happy to take your dog running or just chilling on the couch with us. We have a small fenced yard with a sandbox that we specially built for a home-based "dog beach", we are familiar with dog-friendly hikes, parks, restaurants and beaches in the area, and we would make your dog a part of our family for their stay. We'd love to meet you and your furbaby. I am home full-time with our two dogs (9 & 11 years) and two kids when they are not in school. We go for walks in the neighborhood or on the beach. I only look after dogs in my home and we only take non-shedding dogs. They become part of our family of two adults, two kids and two dogs.

I have two dogs i miss back in Brentwood - so i’m more than excited to care for and play with another buddy. I have experience with a wide range of dogs: from raising chihuahua, dachshunds, golden retrievers, and french bulldogs. I’m a very active and outdoorsy person and I’m more than happy to give your best friends an outdoor experience that will either burn off steam for the active ones or take the brisk walks for the ones who just want to enjoy the fresh air. About: I have owned big dogs my whole life. Two labs, a retriever and a Catahoula mix. I have never know my life without a dog in it. Since I was little I would help take care of the dogs. From them being puppies to elderly dogs. I have watched my own dogs as well as others. I have also an accompanied a mobile dog groomer during her work. I helped wash the dogs as well as keep them calm and happy while she worked. I definitely learned A LOT about cleaning up after puppies while working with her. I am currently home for the summer from college and I do not have any other jobs so I have a lot of free time. I available all week except for when I will be out of town. I understand that every dog has different needs. I am fully flexible and willing to work with your dog in whatever way they need. For example, I have helped my dog through her fear of fireworks by wrapping her in a blanket and holding her (a little peanut butter helped too). Or if your dog needs a lot of exercise to stay calm and happy I will run around for hours. I am adaptable to the dog and I can help in whatever way is needed!
