About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own! I can care for your pets in your home- the least stressful for them! Or take them to a park, hikes, or a leisurely walk. In your home I will make sure to keep everything tidy, and treat your pets as my family- lots of snuggles and playtime!

About: I’ve taken care of and owned animals of all kinds since childhood. Taught and trained by my mother, who’s been a vet tech for over 40 years! I have extensive knowledge of proper pet care practices and continue to keep up to date with all the latest information and research. I have experience handling, training, and caring for pets of various sizes and breeds; including large-small dogs, senior dogs & cats, puppies & kittens, and high needs pets! If your fur baby has behavioral issues or quirks, needs daily medication, and/or has strict dietary guidelines, you can trust that your pets special needs will be met to your standards while in my care! I work part time as a creative professional and musician with a relatively flexible schedule, so I have plenty of time to care for your pet family! About: I’m a UC Santa Cruz Legal Studies graduate and former student athlete, originally from San Diego, who recently moved to LA. I work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your dog attention, exercise, and care throughout the day. I’ve cared for dogs throughout college and have experience with dogs of all sizes and energy levels, including through Unleashed by Petco, friends, family, and my own dog. I have a safe, comfortable home with a great patio, and would love to meet your dog and give them lots of love! My schedule is flexible and opened throughout the week here in Santa Cruz and I’m able to consistently fit in pet care. I have open availability on weekdays, weekends, and for overnights. I have enough flexibility to provide walks, drop-ins, and overnight care assuring all dogs I take care of get all the care they require and more. I have a safe, pet-friendly home with a large front yard and grassy patio that is fully fenced in. All dogs have plenty of safe space to relax and play. About: My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! Our preference is to work with 1 or 2 older/more relaxed dogs, that can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. We lean towards being home bodies, but we enjoy going on walks/outtings, having play time and lots of snuggles. If we seem like a simpatico match to care for your pup, please reach out for our availability! We have a flexible schedule and can work around your needs/timing with plenty of notice. We enjoy exploring new areas and are happy to have your dogs show us all their favorite spots to hang out! Rather than upend your dog's routine on top of you being out of town, we will come to you! I currently work on boats and do this in the off-season or when things are slow. About: I've had three dogs in my life. I have some training experience with them and have cared for many of my friends' and acquaintances' pets. Looking forward to supporting wherever I can I have pretty open availability right now. Though I do have a daughter in high school, who needs me for drop off and pick ups. It should not be a hindrance b I keep my cats indoors. And my dogs as well. They are crate trained so I can crate your pet as well and am familiar with the process of crate training.

This affects the type of pet care assignments that I may accept due to logistics and pet needs. I care for pets in your home only and take dogs on outings and employ daily frequent play and walks. About: I love pet sitting for any animal! Cats are my soft spot but I have had most of my clients on rover for dog sitting :) Currently taking a break from school so my schedule has opened up immensely! I am excited to finally have time to start petsitting again as I have missed spending time with animals all day. There is nothing I’d rather do. I’ve grown up with lots of small dogs who had separation anxiety, so I understand how important it is to be with them all day and sleep together for bedtime.
