About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am in Redwood Estates, in the Santa Cruz mountains. I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own! I can care for your pets in your home- the least stressful for them! Or take them to a park, hikes, or a leisurely walk. In your home I will make sure to keep everything tidy, and treat your pets as my family- lots of snuggles and playtime!

About: I love all animals and love to interact and care for them. Animals are part of our family and needed to be treated as such. I am currently a stay-at-home homeschooling mom so I could spend almost every minute with your fur baby to make sure they are having a wonderful time. I have a dog as well so your fur baby will have some company. Also my daughter just loves dogs as well and your fur baby will be extra loved.

About: I have expirience with animals of all ages and sizes, including farm animals, cage animals, and of course tons of experience with dogs and cats! I was raised with 3 dogs/3 cats/and other farm animals of my own, so I am equipped to care for a “furry family” of any size. I have excellent communication skills and am dedicated to following your pets daily/nightly routine. Lots of expirience with house sitting and making sure all animals are happy and healthy! Expirience with administering medication and bathing of pets :) I am a hard worker and very reliable, especially when it comes to caring for someone elses home or pets. Once booked, I can assure that I will be dedicated to keeping your animals as my number one priority. My schedule is fairly open so I can commit to 24hr stays or overnight stays :) My home has a fence around the whole property which allows for my pups to have access to both inside and outside as they please. I am comfortable with both indoor and outdoor pet environments, I can accommodate to any routine that is right for your pets.

“Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: I've had three dogs in my life. I have some training experience with them and have cared for many of my friends' and acquaintances' pets. Looking forward to supporting wherever I can I have pretty open availability right now. Though I do have a daughter in high school, who needs me for drop off and pick ups. It should not be a hindrance b I keep my cats indoors. And my dogs as well. They are crate trained so I can crate your pet as well and am familiar with the process of crate training.

About: Many years ago I worked as a vet tech. I have been involved withwildlife and pet rescue literally all my life. I have successfully raised a few well-mannered, helpful and obedient dogs. My pups always have chores (ie: retrieving the newspaper, carrying in groceries, helping with yard work). I do my best to keep everything consistent for your fur babies. I try to keep to your normal routine and use your terminology and commands. Everyone so far has been pretty consistent ("sit, stay, off, leave it, release, etc) so I haven't needed to change up my vocabulary much. If you have multiple pets please ask me about adjusting the rates for each additional pet over 3. I can usually make adjustments. I am retired, therefore, able to devote all of my time to the pets and home that I am caring for. I love to garden so pulling weeds makes me happy. Lately, I have been making terreriums so you could come home to a needless yard and a jar full of plants. If you have a junk drawer or closer you'd like organized, leave me a list. Much more fun to organize your junk drawer than mine! I do my best to keep anxiety to a minimum and fun to the max. I want your pets to associate your suitcase with a fun time with me vs missing you. No matter how much fun I give them, they will still be overjoyed when you return. As it should be!

About: Ever since I was born I’ve been taking care of animals. From fostering baby kittens to taking care of my grandparents old dogs. I’m well experienced in grooming and cleaning up messes as well as taking energetically dogs for very long walks. I’ve dealt with it all and I can say I have loved every single animal I’ve cared for. I’m currently working from home, so I’m available all hours of the day. I’m very comfortable with getting up early to take care of early birds. Or staying over to watch over energetic puppies that don’t know it’s bed time. I currently have seven friendly dogs that would love to play around with yours. About: I have taken care of dogs for 4 years. I have experience taking care of puppies and senior dogs. I have experience giving oral medication as well as working with nervous babies. Willing to take them on walks 3 times a day as well as feeding. I’m working full time 5 days a week willing to go two - three times a day if needed. About: I have loved animals my entire life. Throughout college and high school, I worked as a dog walker for Wag and a kennel attendant at the local vet. I currently work on boats and do this in the off-season or when things are slow. I love spending time with animals and will treat your baby like one of my own, with lots of walks, cuddles, and attention. About: I have never personally owned a cat, but i loved watching my friends cats when it was needed or my neighbors cats! I feel as though me and cats have a special bond, because you can’t force a cat to love you which is why i am patient and accepting of the animal rather than trying to be obsessive and upsetting the cat. With that being said when i was cat sitting, i would typically try to make them stay active by playing with them or taking them on walks. I also had to give the cats medicine by putting an ointment in their ear or smashing it up in their food. I am a college student, with a very flexible schedule unavailable on mondays and wednesdays but free after 1 pm on tuesday’s and thursdays and friday’s and weekends are completely free! Obviously keeping an eye on the dog is very important, but also remembering to take them outside to use the bathroom frequently. To keep them active i would take them on nice walks outside or i would play with them with their toys that they have already.
