“Hannah is just wonderful! She is reliable and provides such attentive care for my mini Goldendoodle! Raja enjoys all the walks, play time, and cuddles! We appreciate the regular updates on Raja throughout the day. I highly recommend Hannah!!”

“Upon meeting Rose, we were instantly warmed by her friendliness and attention to our pets. She impressed us with her organization as she came prepared with thorough questions about our pets and home in preparation for our weekend away. We found her to be considerate of our space and thoughtful about making sure everything was done the way we expected. She went above and beyond by ensuring we received updates and photos all weekend long. We would be happy to work with her again in the future.”

About: I’ve been a pet sitter for a few years now. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, and puppies as young as 6 weeks old. I have a deep love for animals and want to start a career as a vet tech. For now, I’m looking to work as close to full time as possible to save up for school. My schedule is very open right now, and I’m available weekends and holidays. I prefer to do extended stays, and will give them priority as far as bookings go. I’m available to watch your pets in your home, but I cannot provide boarding services at this time. I’m happy to do some additional tasks while I’m there, such as watering plants and doing light cleaning.
“Amelia took good care of our babies. She kept us updated and sent pictures every-time. Her constant communication with us made us feel secured knowing our babies are in good hands. We have two English Bulldogs that required a lot of TLC and she fulfilled all of their needs. She came in to our home on time and made sure our babies were fed and clean before she left for the day. We will give Amelia 10 stars if the app would allow us.”

“Becky did an outstanding job taking care of Frosty. She did everything we asked of her. She has a great attitude and communicated with us the entire time we were gone, sending us pictures of Frosty. She left the house very clean. I would definitely have her take care of Frosty again.”

“Scarlett took such wonderful care of our dog, Snow Cone! She was so kind, flexible to a couple of last minute changes, and took lots of great photos. She communicated really well with us, with very prompt responses, and asked great questions during the meet and greet. We are excited to book her again soon!”

“Lynn was a godsend for my family and took amazing and very loving care of our very active golden doodle. I would not hesitate to rebook her again. She’s very trustworthy, communicative and left the house in tip top condition. She’s so personable that I can see her becoming my friend.”

“Took great care of my pets-took them on lots of walks and cuddles! Gave me updates about them several times daily. Felt like my dogs had so much fun while I was gone. Came home to cute little photos on the counter of all of them as an extra surprise! Dog person through and through-would recommend and use again!”

“Darya was amazing! She sent me multiple daily updates with photos. The animals loved her right away which was very reassuring and she left my house very clean and even stripped the sheets! I will be using her again.”

“Andrea took such thorough and loving care of our pups. We appreciated all of her updates with photos. She was wonderful with our two dogs and they seemed comfortable with her. We trust her in our home & will definitely hire her again . Thank you!”

“Heather did an amazing job watching Murphy and Piper while I was out of town. She kept me informed, sent photos and took great care of my dog who had a small injury on his leg. I appreciated her attention to his leg and how hard to tried to make him feel better. Very responsible, kind, and loving.”

“Ana was amazing. She stayed with the pets and followed their schedule better than we do. She was communicative and sent photos. She was very good and even to the puppy to training class while we were out of town.”

“We are so so happy with Erika! She’s an absolute animal lover, and our dogs were comfortable with her immediately. Amazing communication and sending us pictures and updates the whole time the…peace of mind we needed. Thank you Erika!”

“Grant was great. Not only did he keep Athena fed, walked, and safe, he also worked with her regarding various training issues, like having her wait at the door for permission to go through, barking, etc. She liked him the moment she met him, and he let me know how she was doing.”

“Sarah is wonderful! She took great care of my cats, sent regular updates and photos, and made me feel completely at ease while I was away. My girls warmed up to her nicely and even snuggled with her which made me so happy to see how comfortable they were with her. I would definitely recommend Sarah and cannot thank her enough :)”

“After using Rover for almost 5 years now I can safely say that Maria has been the best I’ve met so far! She’s super loving, genuinely caring, transparent and a true dog lover. She not only followed Rio’s schedule but went over and beyond by getting treats and fruit for him when they got over. Maria even cleaned up the house and linens which she totally didn’t have to but it just shows how sincere she is. She treated my home like her own 💕 and sent regular updates and pictures which I appreciated so much since this was a longer trip … Rio looked so happy in them! As we got home and it was time for Maria to head out, Rio gave her so many kisses and even went looking for her in the guest room later in the night. I truly appreciate you Maria, you are really the best. Rio and I hope to meet you again soon :)”

“Denise was an absolute gem as our dog and cat sitter over the weekend! Our animals were calm and visibly happy in her care. Denise's punctuality was impressive, and she left our house clean and tidy. We are beyond pleased with her services and will definitely choose her again in the future. She's a true professional and a delight to work with!”

About: I have house sat for many families, and a majority of them had pets. I love getting the chance to connect with a furbaby and take them for fun walks, grooming them, playtime, or just keep them company and lounge if they are more low-key! I have also owned dogs my whole life (Springer Spaniels, Labrador Retrievers, Pugs, Jack Russel Terrier/Beagle mix, and currently a 3-year old Cattle Dog mix. I have great experience with an array of different pet types and personalities. One time I house sat and took care for a dog, cat, two goats, and ten chickens. I am very flexible and open to helping accommodate to what is most helpful for you. Thank you for considering me, I look forward to meeting you and your furbaby soon. I work 9-5 in the office on Monday-Wednesday. Other days are much more flexible depending on any special events happening that week. I also have a dog of my own to care for. I am unable to house a pet in my place of living at this time. I take safety and trust extremely seriously while house sitting and can frequently update the client on their pet(s)’ wellbeing.

Frequently asked questions about Rover
As of August 2026, there are 3,391 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across Twin Creeks. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.
Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Twin Creeks walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Twin Creeks maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Twin Creeks choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
