About: I've been a trusted caregiver for my friends' dogs and cats, administering unique care for all the special needs they have. I have a passion for animals and I love getting to know what makes your pet so special! I have experience with oral and topical medical treatments, and I am an active person so I am always ready for walks, hikes, or runs. I am currently working part-time throughout the week, with short-notice availability on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, however with a 2 week notice I can clear up my availability for extended stays. I am happy to follow the typical routines your pet is used to, however I typically go on walks morning and evening, giving plenty of attention in between. I always make safety a priority when taking any dogs on a walk. As someone who has a large aggressive dog, I take extra care to avoid potential issues.

About: During high school and still to this day, I house sit and do daily check ins for my friends pets, so I spend a lot of time with animals. I am comfortable adapting to what you and your pet requires for the best experiences. I have experience feeding cats and dogs, giving oral medication, cleaning up throw up on carpets, furniture, floors, etc. I’ve cared for large dogs with a lot of energy, medium sized dogs, small sized dogs, anxious cats and dogs, and senior pets. I have two domestic short hair cats that I adopted when they were first born, and now they are two years old and thriving. I’m currently working part time at Yardhouse and need to get some more exercise. I work mostly in the afternoon on weekday and weekends, so morning walks and early afternoons are the best times I can provide services. I can also provide services late night services for emergencies and last minute situations. My schedule is flexible early morning and late nights. I am a very early riser so I am most available in the mornings. I will treat your pet and home as if it was mine. I’ll follow your exact instructions so you won’t have to worry about your pet. I’ll keep a close eye on your pet and make sure all doors and gates are closed, ensuring no risk of losing your beloved pet. Dogs and cats will stay leashed at all times when going on walks. I’ll send very detailed updates through out the day, leaving no worries about your pets safety and well being. If I sense something is wrong, I’ll give you a call immediately and take them to the vet if necessary.

About: A lifelong love for animals has lead me to professionally working in Veterinary medical centers and Shelters. I am an Adoptions Counselor for the San Diego Humane Society. I am Fear Free Certified, trained in proper husbandry and handling for a range of species, and educate new owners on such. I am available all day Mondays and Tuesdays, Thursday through Sunday mornings and evenings for drops ins and walks. With overnights I am flexible as long as communication and time permit. I adore taking pets on walks or out to play! I am comfortable walking dogs of all sizes. I prefer to pet sit in an animal’s own environment for their same. It is already stressful to be away from their family and staying in their homes is helpful.

About: Long time animal mom, I work comfortably with all animals. I’ve personally owned 135 pound boxer down to 10 pound bossy chihuahua. I’ve always animal sit and handle dog walks for friends and family, so I thought it was time to set up a rover account. I am a former childcare provider that cared for 8 children while having 3 dogs, 3 cats, 6 chickens and a bearded dragon. My pets thought they were daycare children and I worked with the children to treat my animals with the love and respect they deserve. My dogs have taught toddlers to walk, and learned to tell on them if they were hit. I’m a wife, and mother to two high schoolers. Currently have an 85 pound boxer boy and 10 pound chihuahua with 3 cats and 1 bearded dragon. I’ve owned multiple dogs my entire life, but the last 25 years I’ve always kept at least 2 dogs and 3 cats at all times. I’ve cared for kidney failure with cats, and dogs in failing health due to age, along with blindness. Before becoming a childcare provider, I worked as a Vet assistant for 3 years, so I took in valuable information during that time that my animals and family animals have benefited from. I’m currently staying home after working full time away from home for the last 5 years. After closing my daycare, I obtained my BA in Psychology and jumped right into working as a Project Engineer in construction. While it was fulfilling, my children required a more flexible schedule for tennis matches and mornings with me. I am able to house sit, my children are fine with me being away for a week or so in the morning, but the continual mornings for 5 years was too much after having access to me 24/7 their entire childhood. I have family support for them, so that frees up my schedule, so I flexible to care for animals at different times day and night. I own a home with a fenced in yard with grass and room to play. I utilize additional temporary fences for added protection for smaller dogs. Inside we utilize baby gates because our young cats have decided that our boxer isn’t their friend, so they take up the bedroom side of the house, avoiding him and that makes their life easier. I also utilize my parents fenced in yard that is 15 minutes away for long stretches of grass to run and play. Their yard is massive and great for pups that need to get out a little extra energy. I am all about the extra caution when it comes to my own babies and yours.
