I have had a passion for animals for as long as I can remember, including behavior and training. I believe that every dog is a good dog. I began my career in animal care at an exotic pet shop in my teens. Between retail gigs, I had the privilege of working at a rescue shelter and a zoo, where my passions for animal conservation and welfare continued to grow. After that I spent some time in the veterinary field, where I gained valuable experience as a veterinary assistant. It was working in the veterinary field where I really got to pursue my passion for working gently with anxious and "aggressive" animals. Due to some physical limitations, I am not able to work full-time anymore, so I am now taking time to focus on what I really love to do, which is making pet and owner's lives easier. In my free time, I love to crochet, play video and borad games, and go on hikes with my partner.
