About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own! I can care for your pets in your home- the least stressful for them! Or take them to a park, hikes, or a leisurely walk. In your home I will make sure to keep everything tidy, and treat your pets as my family- lots of snuggles and playtime!

“I wasn't sure how my cats would do with someone they didn't know, but any concerns disappeared when Nicole came by prior to my pet sitting needs in order to meet the cats and get the run down on what the cats would need while I was away on business. Zigs, in particular, is generally weary of new people, but she warmed up to Nicole pretty much straight away, and it wasn't long after that Cheddars was also looking for scritches. To say it was a huge relief to have Nicole look after my fur babies while I was away for nearly a week is an understatement. I have a couple of cat cams so I can look in on them when I'm away, and the history of what was recorded is available for me to check. When I checked in each day, I saw Nicole sitting on the floor playing with and giving scritches to both cats. At one point, Zigs was even following her! When I returned home, both cats were calm and relaxed. They got their nasty canned food every day, fresh water, and all three litter boxes cleaned. They were clearly well cared for while I was away, above and beyond just feeding them and cleaning litter boxes. I will 100% check Nicole's availability anytime I need to have my fur babies looked after and spoiled!”

“While I was away for the weekend, my sister-in-law unexpectedly was no longer able to care for my dog. I reached out to Mamu, and thankfully, they were available to drop in on short notice. Later, another emergency came up where we missed our connecting flight and couldn’t make it home for an extra day. In my well-traveled journey, I have gained working vet tech experience, knowledge, and wisdom that spans over 30 years. My family and I founded a sanctuary for animals in Washington State that the SPCA recognized. We rescued, rehabilitated, trained, and provided education classes for the care and proper nutrition of all creatures, great and small. We have worked tirelessly with the SPCA for the welfare and prevention of animal cruelty and care. So whether you are traveling for work, relocating or pleasure we are here to help care for your fur baby. I am a single grandmother raising my only granddaughter, I wanted her to experience the unconditional love God's creatures can bring to her daily life. I am blessed to have my granddaughter work alongside me in this business venture. Rover has allowed me to grow my passion and experience into a loving home business in the Bay area area I am a home-based professional dog care specialist so I can be a hands-on grandmother while raising my granddaughter. About: I love all animals and love to interact and care for them. Animals are part of our family and needed to be treated as such. I am currently a stay-at-home homeschooling mom so I could spend almost every minute with your fur baby to make sure they are having a wonderful time. I have a dog as well so your fur baby will have some company. Also my daughter just loves dogs as well and your fur baby will be extra loved.

About: I’ve been a pet owner my whole life, growing up I had three different dogs, Ruby, who died when I was 8, Ollie, and Zoe. I’ve had three fish, two mice, a lizard, and a hamster. Starting at age 12, I began dog and cat sitting for my neighbors and friends, and many families have relied on me for the care of their animals when they cannot be there. I also study animal science with a pre vet concentration in school so I'm extremely knowledgeable on how to correctly interact and care for pets I am currently a full time pet sitter, so sitting is my whole life at the moment. During the year I study animal science but when I am not working over the summer I love to read and bake! I always make sure front doors are closed or locked, pay special attention to certain rules and expectations of different pet owners, and never let animals out of my sight unless they are safely inside or in an enclosed outside space.

About: I have supported my wife in watching animals on Rover but recently took the jump to make my own profile on Rover! I have professionally cared for dogs on Rover since 2017. From pet boarding in our home to house sitting in the homes of others, I have professionally cared for pups of all ages- from puppies to senior dogs. My wife and I have two goldendoodles (8 and 6 years old). Growing up, my family has fostered many dogs and so I have experience with various breeds and pups with special needs. Currently I am taking classes to further my education and work a flexible schedule professionally reffing soccer games which are usually one to two hours in length. I live an active lifestyle but also love to have relaxing days depending on your dog’s needs. I understand how much trust goes into having someone else care for your furbaby let alone opening up your own home. I treat the home I come into with respect and follow any rules and cultural considerations for any homes I enter. I respect rules set by you and my main priority is to keep the dog(s) I am watching on their normal schedule until their humans are back home!

About: Loving and responsible mamma dog, I have two rescued myself. They are a pitbull and a sheppard mix so I can definitely take care of big dogs. I understand their needs and take care of them while providing you with regular updates. About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. I like to take pictures and/or videos for you so you can get your daily dose of your pet!

About: Hello owners! I am excited to see your fur baby. I grew up in a pet lover family. We had dogs and an cat before. I have experiences of feeding them, walking them, playing with them. I also help to take care my housemate's dog sometimes. Since I don't have a pet my own, I would love to help taking care of people's pet and make some extra. I am a friendly and responsible person. About: I have taken care of dogs for 4 years. I have experience taking care of puppies and senior dogs. I have experience giving oral medication as well as working with nervous babies. Willing to take them on walks 3 times a day as well as feeding. I’m working full time 5 days a week willing to go two - three times a day if needed. I am available any time on weekends I have a a guided area for outside time, leash walks only no free walks or roaming per pets safety! I will also feed them at their scheduled times :)
