Pet care when you need it!
I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets!

I can care for your pets in your home- the least stressful for them! Or take them to a park, hikes, or a leisurely walk. In your home I will make sure to keep everything tidy, and treat your pets as my family- lots of snuggles and playtime!

Heather was amazing. I could not ask for anyone better. Before I left, my cat became sick. Not only did she tale excellent care of my two active dogs, she nursed my sick, elderly cat. Taking the time to administer her meds. She had the patience to feed my cat often. My dogs loved her. Heather made sure they had exercise. She played with them. Cuddled them. I could tell by all the updates sent, they had a great time. I was very anxious to leave on vacation. Almost canceled my trip. Happy I didn’t. Became clear to me that my pets were left in very capable hands. Will use Heather again.
Heather was amazing. She was able to care for our difficult older cat like a pro. Our cat required two medications twice a day, including an injection, and our cat doesn't do well with stranger but she did great with Heather. Heather let us know everytime when she completed the shot which really put our minds at ease. We ended up book her again for two more trips these coming months.
Animals love Heather, and she loves them back. She has cared for dogs, cats, and other animals, from fish to horses. She is 100% reliable, managing her time with care and her commitments with consistency. I trust Heather with both the practical and the emotional needs of my pets.

Schedule
I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. I have 2 dogs and 2 kitties at home, bit can easily help out pet parents who need extra walks, play time, or vacation care! My pets are my family (fur babies!) i will care for your pets like my own!
