This was Teo’s first stay outside the care of a family member, but from our very first meeting in Yoona and Minjae’s clean, welcoming home, I felt completely at ease knowing he would be in the best hands. Teo was comfortable with them right away, and the photos and videos they shared throughout his stay showed just how happy he was - enjoying plenty of walks, enrichment, and feeling truly included as part of their pack. It was clear that Teo received so much love and attention; he was affectionate with Yoona and Minjae and was genuinely treated like a member of their family. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and they were incredibly responsive and flexible with scheduling. The entire process was seamless, and Teo was calm and confident being left in their care. About: I have lived with animals (mostly dogs and one cat) my entire life. I started off with taking care of my own dogs and then volunteered at shelters throughout high school and undergraduate school. I have house sat and animal sat for friends and family off and on since 2022. I've watched over a range of animal personalities from very excitable and energetic to reactive and anxious. I also find it very important to maintain grooming, hygiene, and activity/mental stimulation for your pets. I do not have experience with dog training, however, I have successfully trained my own dogs with basic commands. I moved out to the Bay Area 2 years ago to be a full-time PhD student at Palo Alto University. While I do have work and school, I am remote most days in the week (Thursday through Monday), so I can dedicate the time and care your pet needs :) I appreciate having an average schedule including times they go outside, walks, feeding, and hygiene so I can help your pet have as smooth of a transition as possible. I tend to follow your pet's cues and slowly build the trust between us. I love giving them affection while maintaining the training and expectations you have. I like to take pictures and/or videos for you so you can get your daily dose of your pet!

“I wasn't sure how my cats would do with someone they didn't know, but any concerns disappeared when Nicole came by prior to my pet sitting needs in order to meet the cats and get the run down on what the cats would need while I was away on business. Zigs, in particular, is generally weary of new people, but she warmed up to Nicole pretty much straight away, and it wasn't long after that Cheddars was also looking for scritches. To say it was a huge relief to have Nicole look after my fur babies while I was away for nearly a week is an understatement. I have a couple of cat cams so I can look in on them when I'm away, and the history of what was recorded is available for me to check. When I checked in each day, I saw Nicole sitting on the floor playing with and giving scritches to both cats. At one point, Zigs was even following her! When I returned home, both cats were calm and relaxed. They got their nasty canned food every day, fresh water, and all three litter boxes cleaned. They were clearly well cared for while I was away, above and beyond just feeding them and cleaning litter boxes. I will 100% check Nicole's availability anytime I need to have my fur babies looked after and spoiled!”

“This was my first time having Nicole as my pet-sitter/house-sitter for my two cats, and she went above and beyond! She checked in several times before my departure date to confirm the care instructions and was very communicative with photos and updates while I was away. My apartment had an AC malfunction that occurred during the stay in the midst of a heat wave, and Nicole updated me frequently to let me know the cats were doing ok and being kept cool indoors. She even went out of her way to speak with the maintenance person I had sent to inspect the unit, and sent me detailed information on their assessment and the estimate for the repairs! About: I have had my dog Samba for about 8 years. When we adopted him I promised my parents that I would walk and take care of him, and I have kept. that promise ever since 😆. I think it really depends on the type of pet, but for dogs I usually let them out in the morning after waking up, right before going to bed, and any time in between that they need to go. Walks will be 1-2 times a day to the park or around the neighborhood, and playing in the backyard is an option too if the dog seems interested. In a clients home it will probably be the same, or different as requested.

About: Dogs have been and always will be one of my greatest loves! My childhood dogs made my life so much more meaningful. When our own kids were growing up we had two dogs which we adopted as puppies and had the pleasure of having until they passed from old age. About: I’ve been pet sitting for friends, relatives and clients for years. Our house is their pets’ second home when they travel or need us. I can do the same for you, too. During the weekend I am mostly home. Weekdays, I partially work from office and home. There is plenty of time to spend time with your pet or walk them frequently. My husband works from home full time, so there is always one or two adults at home. We live in a single house with a fenced backyard, and there is a big greenbelt right outside our backyard ( see images). Therefore it’s very convenient for frequent walks or play time for your pet. “Sumaira is always on time and I know I can count on her to take good care of my fur babies. While walking my Siberian Husky another dog that was unleased attacked my dog. Sumaira safely got my girl home and check her out from head to toe. She promptly notified me that the husky was attacked, however alright. Sumaira let me know there was a little blood on her ear, however she did not appear to be injured. I myself have had another dog attack us when we were walking. Sumaira did the responsible thing and notified me and ensured my girl was alright. In this type of situation that is best can be accomplished and despite this incident I will ask Sumaira to walk her again.”

About: I take my dogs for runs, and I travel with her some times! I love watching after dogs and being physical! Exercise is very important! Currently I live with family and they help take care of our animals as well and take my dog and cat for walks, we live in nature so they sun bathe and frolic . I can offer going to peoples houses and that means making sure they're well fed and entertained and just really taking care of them anyway they need. About: What can I say, I am an absolute animal lover! and I am sure your dog would have a great time with me! I have had animals my whole life and love to shower them with care and affection! About: Dogs have been and always will be one of my greatest loves! My childhood dogs made my life so much more meaningful. When our own kids were growing up we had two dogs which we adopted as puppies and had the pleasure of having until they passed from old age. Both our son and daughter are Rover dog sitters and we have greatly enjoyed helping them care for these amazing dogs. Now, we are ready to take care of our own! We are a retired couple who loves dogs and will almost always be home to provide companionship and love to your pup. We also enjoy taking dogs on neighborhood walks and making sure that they have a fantastic vacation while in our care! We have a large fenced yard and a grassy area for the dogs to run around in. We also have a swimming pool. Our peaceful neighborhood is perfect for going on walks with the dogs and we will send daily photos of your dog to you!
