“Inquired for availability (at the last minute) with Kaiya and she responded promptly. This was our first time using Rover and had reservations about leaving our fur kids alone for an extended period of time. We met Kaiya day of and all of our concerns and reservations disappeared right when we met her. She is so sweet and inquisitive about our pups like they were her own. She messaged pictures through out the day to check in (without us requesting this) and it was just so nice to know that the pups were in good hands. Will definitely book again!!”

“Molly was great! She was available at the last minute, was super accommodating of our schedule, and did a great job caring for our home and our skittish little dog. She sent regular updates, including pictures when our camera-shy dog would let her snap some. She handled it well when our little guy dug his way out of the yard and was found wandering the neighborhood. She got him to eat and go for a walk (stuff he tends not to do when we're gone) and he clearly liked her. When we got home, the house was tidy and clean and the dog was happy and relaxed. About: I have been around and loved dogs all my life. For as long as I can remember I’ve been the first to help out walking and taking care of dogs and when I was 7 I got my first dog that became my most prized possession. More recently I have increased my amount of dog care, including adopting 2 rescue dogs in the last 3 years. They have been quite the project as they both came from traumatized pasts and needed a lot of redirection and love. This past year I have also been volunteering at least once a week at the Santa Cruz SPCA, working with dogs of all temperament. I am a student, so when I’m not at school I’m always with dogs. I love to spend as much time as I can in nature and always take my own dogs with me, and make sure they get several walks a day. At home I have several dog beds and monitor them throughout the day. I have dog beds as well as crates if needed. The house is pretty dog proof with nothing easily accessible for them to get into, and a dog gate leading to the upstairs which is where bedrooms are. I also have a large fenced in yard with bark for the dogs to run around in and lots of toys to play with.

About: Grew up in Santa Cruz and love the neighborly vibe! I’ve had pets my whole life yet now travel and would love caring for yours! With my flexible work schedule I can work from anywhere, therefore, my ability to take on last minute jobs. I’m an early riser and enjoyed taking walks and hikes. I enjoy watching pets in their own home, so that they are in their comfort zone and keep their routine.
