I am very fortunate to currently be working fully remote. I love having a furry friend next to me while I work! I have plenty of time and energy to keep your pets active and entertained! I don’t have a pet of my own so yours is number one priority when you book.

I have taken care of pets in my parent's home, friends' homes, my current home, and of course client's homes, so I am comfortable with a variety of situations. If your pet enjoys going on adventures outside of your neighborhood to the park, beach, or a hiking trail that is an option. If you would like your pet to be taken anywhere in the car, you must provide a car harness they can be secured in while driving. Please communicate to me exactly how you expect your pet to be cared for. I love to keep pets entertained at home and giving them all the love and attention they need! I am a very clean, organized, and hyper vigilant person and have experience in house sitting and pet sitting. I am easy to reach with good communication skills and would love to keep you updated while caring for your animals and your home. Booking of my services is an agreement to pay the $250 deductible for Emergency Vet Services not covered by the Rover Guarantee. Additionally, booking of my services is an agreement to pay any veterinary costs incurred for any urgent or non-emergency requested vet care not covered by the Rover Guarantee.

Please let me know about your dog's walking or leash habits, anything they are reactive towards (other dogs, cats, squirrels, cars, etc.), any separation anxiety, any history of biting or aggression, and anything else special about them. Additionally any allergies, medication they take, and anything I should watch out for in general. My family dog, Lenny, is afraid of flies, so anything that I should know about them ahead of time is appreciated! I am happy to meet with you and your pet or pets before caring for them.
A typical day
I love taking walks and exploring new dog friendly areas. I also like doing enrichment activities with dogs and finding new ways to tire them out using their brain. When caring for your animals, I will ensure they are safe, loved, and well taken care of.

Pet care experience
I have been caring for both dogs and cats (and some chickens!) outside of my home since ever since I got my Drivers License. Many family members and friends have relied on me for taking care of their pets while they are out of town. I have experience with both large, small, young, and old dogs. My family dog is currently 12 years old and we have had him since he was 4 months old. I attended training classes with my mom as well as many vet visits. He is an active Jack Russel/Italian Greyhound mix that enjoys long walks and running on the beach. I have experience pet sitting multiple animals at a time including young dogs, senior dogs with medical issues, and in homes with both dogs and cats. Walking, feeding, bathing, cleaning litter boxes, cleaning up any accidents that may happen, and administering medication are no problem for me. I feel confident in making sure that your dog is safe in environments outside of the home, whether on a walk, at the park, beach, etc.

Ciara is amazing. She has done a couple of house stays with my fairly anxious dog, and each time I came home to a happy pup and a spotless house. She follows every instruction carefully, handles quirks with ease, and leaves almost no trace that she was here, other than a very well-cared-for dog. This was my first time using a sitter outside of family, and Ciara gave me total peace of mind. Most importantly, it’s clear how much she genuinely cares for the pets she looks after. Highly recommend!
