About: I’ve had dogs all my life and have dog walked, house sat for dogs, and helped trained my sister’s puppy. I share a special bond with dogs! I currently am only working part-time, so I will be able to be very attentive with the dog. I can take for multiple walks a day, be active, and even help train more. I live in a condo at the moment with no yard, so I will mostly be taking them for walks or find ways to be active outside of the home. I can crate them in your home if needed, and won’t let them in furniture or beds.

We start our day in the morning with a nice sniff, play, or zoomie time on the property. After breakfast we'll do a walk on the beach, a hike (depending on your pet) or playtime on the property. My dog is getting older so he's usually good for about 3 miles and can't really do strenuous hikes. He loves the beach so we also take a late morning beach walk. Aromas also has a lovely dog park now, so if your pup is social that's a fun place to go. For more athletic dogs, there are some incredible hiking trails in this area. Afternoon chores start normally around 5, when I walk the property and feed and check on my goats and emus. This is more play time for your fur baby, as we watch the sunset and settle in for the night. Where does your pet sleep? They are welcome on the furniture or my bed. I also have extra dog beds for those pets who like their space. I have a completely fenced yard with plenty of space to roam. With the exception of a couple of 2-3 hour windows 2 to 3 days per week, your pet is never alone. I do have stairs so if your pet needs help going up and down, I will block the stairs so there are no accidents.

About: I have grown up around many animals rats, chickens, turkeys, pigs, horses, goats, and of course dogs and cats. I have volunteered at my local shelter for the last 5 years primarily focusing on animal socialization for dumped and rescued cats and dogs. Rachel and her husband offered a meet and greet, were curious about rules I have for my pet so they could adhere to them too, they gave her great exercise and an opportunity to play with their dogs, they are experienced and have a safe home, and it seems like my puppy just really liked it there.
