About: I’ve looked after my own dogs since elementary school and started watching my friends’ pets around when I turned 12. I have absolutely loved animals (dogs especially) for as long as I can remember and it’s actually become a career goal of mine. I’m currently studying to be a wildlife veterinarian and am always eager for opportunities to care for and play with all sorts of animals. I have always loved dogs especially though and am so happy anytime I’m able to watch after them. I’m a student at San Jose City College and I work part-time so my time during the week is slightly limited. I am always able to fit in at least one midday visit, usually more but some days are tough. Mornings and evenings I’m free to visit your pups as much as needed or stay overnight! I am very comfortable around all sizes and species of dogs. I have some experience with puppy training as well and am perfectly happy to incorporate any specific training you might have for your pup. I have experience with medication so chow time will go smoothly even if your pup needs some medication.

About: I grew up with a house that always had at least one dog in it. I have always loved and been very comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve dog walked and dog sat for neighbors since I was a young kid. I’m currently a college student at UCSC on summer vacation. About: I have taken care of pets for quite some time. I grew up on a farm, so I have been around all sorts of animals all my life. I recently moved back here to the valley from Santa Cruz. Will be here for a year or so. When I was in Santa Cruz I volunteer for the animal shelter there. About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. About: I have been a dog lover since I got my first dog, Kiwi the puggle, about 20 years ago. While I can't have a dog at my current place, I love to hang out with my friends dogs and dog walk/sit when I can. I have experience dog sitting a variety of dogs - from a senior german shepherd/mastiff mix to a bernadoodle puppy, to high energy australian shepherds and golden retrievers. She loved going on long walks by the river near her home in Connecticut. She also loved chewing on special bones I was permitted by her owner to give her. She required a weekly bath/shower which was messy but fun! A third example are Gracie and Monti, both medium sized rescues. Gracie had a lot of energy and walking was a must sometimes several times a day. She and I would go on long walks on trails and she enjoyed wading in water to cool off after a long walk. Monti on the other hand was a dignified little fellow. He was one to stop and smell the roses and everything along the way :) Monti had back surgery so needed to be lifted in and out of car and needed to be monitored so as to not jump up and re-injure his spine. Lastly, Jet Jet was a frisky rescue cat. He loved to play and cuddle and roll in fresh cat nip! I have cared for many more pets and their owners homes. About: I have owned big dogs my whole life. Two labs, a retriever and a Catahoula mix. I have never know my life without a dog in it. Since I was little I would help take care of the dogs. From them being puppies to elderly dogs. I have watched my own dogs as well as others. I have also an accompanied a mobile dog groomer during her work. I helped wash the dogs as well as keep them calm and happy while she worked. I definitely learned A LOT about cleaning up after puppies while working with her. I am currently home for the summer from college and I do not have any other jobs so I have a lot of free time. I available all week except for when I will be out of town. I understand that every dog has different needs. I am fully flexible and willing to work with your dog in whatever way they need. For example, I have helped my dog through her fear of fireworks by wrapping her in a blanket and holding her (a little peanut butter helped too). Or if your dog needs a lot of exercise to stay calm and happy I will run around for hours. I am adaptable to the dog and I can help in whatever way is needed!
