About: I understand the various and complex needs of dogs of different breeds, ages, sizes, and reactivity. As someone with a high energy large breed dog I have specific experience with dogs that need a little more to get their energy out. I am confident that I will be more than able to get your pup that care that it needs to be happy and healthy. I am a college student that is currently home for the summer. I have open availability and should be able to accommodate almost any busy schedule so your pet can get the care it requires. Your dogs safety is my number one priority. I would love to hear any specific needs that your pet may have and will do everything in my power to accommodate them. I have experience with very large/strong dogs as well as reactive or high energy pups. My goal is to create a walk that meets the specific requirements of your dog and ensures that they are safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve got experience dog-sitting, and dog-walking, as well as living with dogs and love when I get the chance to take care of them. I’ve had a dog my entire life until her recent passing and have loved and cared for all animals even before I got one. I’m incredibly comfortable with dogs of all sizes, types, and temperaments. This includes sick dogs with medication, senior pups, and various exercise needs. I have saved my dog from a life-threatening attack and provided intensive care, so I work well in a potentially contentious environment. I’m a full time student but my schedule is incredibly loose. I get to choose when I work on my senior project and go to class so I’m available whenever essentially. I only have to be in class Monday and Wednesday from 5-7! Other than that feel free to schedule me. I have a wonderful medium sized fenced yard and live close to Westlake park which has ample grass and play area. My roommates do live with me but are comfortable with the situation and all dog-friendly!

It’s always nervewracking to let someone you’ve never met into your home while you’re away, but I know Mika was in good hands and we’ll definitely be booking with Jasmine again in the future. She took lots of photos during the walk and followed our instructions - even opened the door for our cat so she could roam around while they were away. I could tell from the photos that Mika had so much fun and let out all of the midday zoomies :)”

About: I have been a dog lover since I got my first dog, Kiwi the puggle, about 20 years ago. While I can't have a dog at my current place, I love to hang out with my friends dogs and dog walk/sit when I can. I have experience dog sitting a variety of dogs - from a senior german shepherd/mastiff mix to a bernadoodle puppy, to high energy australian shepherds and golden retrievers. I would be more than happy to take your dog for a long walk or hike (if that's what they'd like), and am fine with just hanging on the couch and giving pets. I also have experience cat sitting! I had a rambunctious tuxedo cat in college named Chia who I loved dearly. I was the regular sitter for my friends cat who required oral medication. I've cat sat for a number of other cats, from a range of playful to timid to independent. I work from home Monday and Friday, so on those days I have flexibility to provide the care your pet specifically needs. While I am caring for a pet, I want to make them as comfortable as possible and prioritize attending to their needs. I try to respect your pets needs and boundaries as well as respecting the home that I am sitting in. If a dog seems high to medium energy, I try to provide stimulation through walks and play. I also make it a priority to respect the boundaries of your pet. I will give them space and let them come to me if they are shy, will be gentle and patient if I sense anxiety, all the while trying to let them know that they are safe & that I am a friend.

About: I’m a 22 year old college graduate looking to fulfill her hopes of pet setting once again! Being a full time student meant busy weeks, leaving no time for pet care. Something I actively did before transferring to UCSC. But with this newfound, post-graduate freedom, I’m eager to get back into the gig. Besides caring for my own kitties, I’ve worked with 7 clients over the past four years. All of which have been dog sitting gigs, with one job including an additional 3 cats (if that makes sense haha). And in my time as a sitter I’ve had four consistent clients. Additionally, I’m more than willing to sit for most dogs/ cats regardless of age, size, energy level, etc. It is my job (and such a privilege) to ensure their needs are met! About: We are an animal loving family and will treat your pup as our own when they come to stay with us. I am a full time mom to my 16 years old daughter and 3 years old English Springer spaniel, Chester. We have enough love and time to give to our prospective "new friends". Our sweet Springer spaniel Chester loves having a buddy to play with. My daughter is a huge animal lover and has a great experience walking multiple dogs. I have been dog owner (from small breeds to large) for several years and absolutely adored every moment with them. We treat dogs as a family members, they are allowed on the furniture and can lounge and sleep wherever they feel comfortable. Our house is located in Live Oak with a walking distance to the Harbor, Arana Gulch and Chanticleer dog park. We have a fenced in backyard to play around in. I am an active person so you can be assured your pup will be well taken care of for exercises. We love dogs dearly and love to spoil them! I will take great care of your dog while you are away and look forward to hearing from you.

About: My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! Our preference is to work with 1 or 2 older/more relaxed dogs, that can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. We lean towards being home bodies, but we enjoy going on walks/outtings, having play time and lots of snuggles. If we seem like a simpatico match to care for your pup, please reach out for our availability! We have a flexible schedule and can work around your needs/timing with plenty of notice. About: I love pet sitting for any animal! Cats are my soft spot but I have had most of my clients on rover for dog sitting :) Currently taking a break from school so my schedule has opened up immensely! I am excited to finally have time to start petsitting again as I have missed spending time with animals all day. There is nothing I’d rather do. I’ve grown up with lots of small dogs who had separation anxiety, so I understand how important it is to be with them all day and sleep together for bedtime.
