“Nancy and her husband Lance were amazing. They accommodated our late arrival and were so welcoming to us and Cheech. They took such good care of Cheech on his visit. Great communication and overall awesome couple. Highly recommended. Cheech was spoiled. Thank you, Nancy!”

About: Experienced dog owner and sitter. Studied dog psychology to become a good dog parent. Had two female spaniels who passed earlier this year. We used to compete in dog frisbee and hunt. Also have experience working in a grooming salon, as well as walking and boarding various size dogs - from labs and German shepherds to Jack Russel terriers and mini Aussies. Additionally at no cost I can provide basic behavioural training and teach new tricks - I love to communicate with dogs of any breed and move in one rhythm with them. And I really feel their needs and able to connect with dogs of all ages. I can board puppies and older dogs, take them for a walk someplace new and play ball or frisbee. But safety and well-being is my main focus and if your dog doesn't want too much activity, I can provide a more mellow experience, too. Available on weekdays and weekends but please make appointments at least 2 days in advance. I would love to meet your furry friend! I'm working remotely from home part-time, so have lots of time to spend with doggies. I'm available both weekends and weekdays and rarely leave home for more than a couple hours, so your dog won't be alone for too long. I have a fenced backyard and deck, and two mellow spaniels to keep your doggo company. I also have a crate where your pet can rest if needed.
“Susie was very informative, responsive and kind. She sent lots of pictures and updates which helped feeling comfortable with a new sitter for my grandpup. Milo was very well taken care of and we already have her booked for upcoming dates. I strongly recommend her to sit, walk or care for your pet.”

About: I’ve had dogs in my life for 30 years. I’ve been dog sitting for friends and family for over 20 years. My own dogs have graduated top of their class in puppy training school. I currently work from home, so I can arrange my schedule to make sure dogs in my care get all the love, affection, and attention they need and deserve. I have a small fenced in yard, good for small and medium dogs. My dog is friendly and even shares some toys. I can crate your dog if preferred. I am also within walking distance to a dog park, and an easy drive to dog beaches
“Wow simply amazing. Meghan is so kind and took incredible care of my dog Luna. I received multiple updates with photos and it brought me peace of mind since this was my first Rover experience. She took her on several walks and made Luna feel comfortable. I would absolutely recommend Meghan and I’m incredibly thankful she was able to watch Luna on such short notice.”

“Daisy has had another wonderful stay with Shannon, Chris and their family. This was a 7-night stay and Daisy was treated like one of the family! Shannon sent pictures each day and followed all our requests on how to care for our sweet but slightly anxious dog who also has a few 'quirky' behaviours. We are so thankful to have found people and a home where we know Daisy will be safe and cared for!”

“Kara is amazing and took such good care of my two pups and truly provided them with their own vacation while I took mine. Kara is a dog lover and will take very good care of your animals and give them a truly unique experience of enjoying a pack and having an adventure. She sent pictures and videos every day enjoying adventures in Boulder Creek with other dogs. They got to go on hikes and swim and she took time to work with my littlest one teaching him how to be braver as he is a bit shy. I will definitely be taking my pups to her again in the future. Thank you Kara!”

“Kathleen and her family are an absolute dream! Our puppy was so well cared for, getting lots of love and exercise. Kathleen sent pictures and updates often. I could immediately tell our dog had a great time with Kathleen. I would recommend Kathleen over and over, and we can’t wait to continue having Kathleen in our lives.”

“Thank you so much for watching and taking such good care of Higgins while we were gone! It is comforting to know that not only do you all like him but he loves visiting! Thank you!”

“Bianca was super flexible and patience with my dogs. We had two dogs that don’t get along well with one another and she graciously was willing to host both dogs. The dogs came back happy and slept as soon as they came home! My dogs have never been officially dog sat before so she made us feel comfortable and at ease while she was dog sitting. Highly recommend booking with her!”

“Teresa was so kind and energetic. She sent us pictures of Otoro the whole time we were gone - he went to walks and hikes and played and came back tired (in the best way!) I will definitely be booking with Teresa again the next time we are looking for someone to hang out with Otoro!”

“As an anxious dog mom, I was so worried about leaving my puppy in a huge doggie daycare facility. Tyler was able to give her the 1-on-1 attention she needed to feel safe while we were gone on our trip. They sent tons of photos and videos, and let us do a meet and greet before our stay, which all made me feel super comfortable. We knew that our anxious baby was in great hands! Could not recommend Tyler enough, they will definitely be our go-to for future trips! Thank you Tyler!”

“Julia was amazing! We received daily updates and photos. Harry quickly adapted to Julia's home. He went on daily excursions and was given lots of affection, scratches, pets, and companionship. Harry was clearly at ease when we picked him up. Highly recommend Julia!”

About: I love dogs and I love taking them out and about on walks! I have taken care of many dogs from the age of 2 to 16. My most recent experience includes taking care of senior dogs. I am currently a teacher on summer break so I have lots of time on my hands to dog sit and take dogs on walks! I take care of pets in clients homes by ensuring the dog has all of its needs met. I always make sure to spend extra quality time with the dog if I noticed that it is feeling sad that its owners are away.
“Faith was a GREAT dog sitter! Buster stayed with Faith and her two cute dogs. Buster came home happy from playing with his new friends. Faith sent me pictures of Buster while at her home. I would hire Faith again in a second! Thank you, Faith!”

“Michael and wife Patti gook wonderful care of Gigi for a week. Without hesitation, I booked them for a return visit. Their house and yard is ideal-- fully-fenced front and rear, no restrictions on furniture, and a dog door (their own little dog recently passed away, sadly.) They even invited Gigi to sleep on their bed. Patti took Gigi on a couple of walks to the beach and gave lots of tummy rubs. It was clear from Gigi bouncing around their house when I returned to pick her up that she absolutely enjoyed her doggy vacation!”

“Marina took good care of our pup overnight. He had a great time and fun on their walks and beach adventures. We appreciated the fun pics and videos :) Happy to have Marina watch our dog anytime. Thanks!”

About: I've owned cats for as long as I can remember, and am passionate about taking care of them. They have always been my favorite animal- so much so that I am full of so many fun facts about cats. I love spending time with kitties of any age, and have experience caring for very young kittens, seniors, and cats with medical conditions like FIV. I spent much of my time in high school cat sitting for my community, and want to extend that to my college life! I live with three beautiful girls (two of which are mine, one is my roommate's baby) and I love them to death!
“Sera is the best Rover sitter we’ve ever had! She was absolutely wonderful with our 2 cats right from the meet-and-greet. She was extremely personable, professional, detail oriented, and a true cat lover. She took such sweet photos of our cats during her visits, which made it easier to be away from them. Thank you, Sera, for being the best in the biz!”

About: I grew up with a house that always had at least one dog in it. I have always loved and been very comfortable with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve dog walked and dog sat for neighbors since I was a young kid. I’m currently a college student at UCSC on summer vacation. Now that I’m home my schedule is very open and I’m hoping to use my free time to take care of dogs! I have two dogs and three cats living at my house currently. Both dogs are friendly and the cats keep to themselves. I love hiking so I can take your dog on some awesome dog-friendly trails, or I can just walk them around your neighborhood.
About: I’ve cared for pets my whole life, dogs, cats, rats, guinea pigs, even stick bugs! I understand how different animals communicate and what makes them feel safe and happy. My home in Felton is perfect for pets, with scenic trails for dog walks and cozy spaces for cats to explore. Whether your pet is playful or shy, I offer thoughtful, experienced care tailored to their personality. As a photographer, I love capturing sweet moments and can send photo updates so you feel close to your pet while you’re away. I already share my home with two friendly cats, so feeding, playtime, and cuddles are part of everyday life. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I’m available for walks, drop-ins, and overnight stays throughout the week. Morning trail walks, midday check-ins, and cozy evenings are all part of the rhythm here. Your pet will be cared for with the same attention and love I give my own. Pets in my care stay inside overnight in a calm, cozy environment alongside my two friendly cats. While my yard isn’t fenced, I never leave pets unattended outdoors, and the area is quiet with no nearby traffic. I use secure leashes for walks and keep a close eye on each pet’s comfort and safety. Whether in my home or yours, I treat every animal with the same care and respect I give my own.

“Shylynn goes above and beyond! I hate leaving my cat for more than a few days at a time and was out for over a week. I couldn’t be more delighted with the quality of care she provided. She sent me pictures and updates and even brought my kitty a toy to play with.”

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I treat every pet like they’re my own, and I genuinely enjoy making them feel safe, happy, and loved while their humans are away. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I always start by learning as much as I can about your pet’s routine, preferences, health needs, and quirks. Whether it’s medication schedules, feeding routines, or special toys they love—I’m here to follow your instructions to a T. I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

About: I've cared for cats for my entire life. I have experience feeding, administering medications, maintaining litter box cleanliness, and playing with cats. I aim to create a safe, secure, and loving environment for your kitty companions. "Cats are a mysterious kind of folk. There is more passing in their minds than we are aware of." - Sir Walter Scott
“Tara sat for my dear dog Maverick this morning so I could go to my annual wellness check, and she was excellent: timely, friendly, and competent. When she came to the door the first time, Maverick didn't bark, like he does at strangers, but almost whimpered, as if recognizing a friend! It felt like a minute but it might have been two before she was licking her hand. She's a wonderful young woman and I am so happy to have her assistance with my dear dog.”

About: I have owned big dogs my whole life. Two labs, a retriever and a Catahoula mix. I have never know my life without a dog in it. Since I was little I would help take care of the dogs. From them being puppies to elderly dogs. I have watched my own dogs as well as others. I have also an accompanied a mobile dog groomer during her work. I helped wash the dogs as well as keep them calm and happy while she worked. I definitely learned A LOT about cleaning up after puppies while working with her. I am currently home for the summer from college and I do not have any other jobs so I have a lot of free time. I available all week except for when I will be out of town. I understand that every dog has different needs. I am fully flexible and willing to work with your dog in whatever way they need. For example, I have helped my dog through her fear of fireworks by wrapping her in a blanket and holding her (a little peanut butter helped too). Or if your dog needs a lot of exercise to stay calm and happy I will run around for hours. I am adaptable to the dog and I can help in whatever way is needed!

“Julia did a fabulous job caring for our pup Summer. She let me know ahead of time about the other pup she was caring for just as a heads up. About: I’ve looked after my own dogs since elementary school and started watching my friends’ pets around when I turned 12. I have absolutely loved animals (dogs especially) for as long as I can remember and it’s actually become a career goal of mine. I’m currently studying to be a wildlife veterinarian and am always eager for opportunities to care for and play with all sorts of animals. I have always loved dogs especially though and am so happy anytime I’m able to watch after them. I’m a student at San Jose City College and I work part-time so my time during the week is slightly limited. I am always able to fit in at least one midday visit, usually more but some days are tough. Mornings and evenings I’m free to visit your pups as much as needed or stay overnight! I am very comfortable around all sizes and species of dogs. I have some experience with puppy training as well and am perfectly happy to incorporate any specific training you might have for your pup. I have experience with medication so chow time will go smoothly even if your pup needs some medication.
“Tyler was awesome. He went out of his way to take extra time with Moose and make sure he had everything he needed. He was a great guy and really easy to talk to and work with. Definitely recommend him and will definitely reach out to him again to watch our dog.”

“I am beyond pleased with the exceptional care and attention that our male dog walker provided to my two schnauzers. In just two walks, it is evident that he genuinely cares for them. His sweet demeanor and dedication make him a standout choice. I will definitely be utilizing his services again”

About: I have been a dog lover since I got my first dog, Kiwi the puggle, about 20 years ago. While I can't have a dog at my current place, I love to hang out with my friends dogs and dog walk/sit when I can. I have experience dog sitting a variety of dogs - from a senior german shepherd/mastiff mix to a bernadoodle puppy, to high energy australian shepherds and golden retrievers. I would be more than happy to take your dog for a long walk or hike (if that's what they'd like), and am fine with just hanging on the couch and giving pets. I also have experience cat sitting! I had a rambunctious tuxedo cat in college named Chia who I loved dearly. I was the regular sitter for my friends cat who required oral medication. I've cat sat for a number of other cats, from a range of playful to timid to independent. Happy to tell you more about myself and my experience, and I hope to have the chance to look after your adorable fur baby! I work from home Monday and Friday, so on those days I have flexibility to provide the care your pet specifically needs. While I am caring for a pet, I want to make them as comfortable as possible and prioritize attending to their needs. I try to respect your pets needs and boundaries as well as respecting the home that I am sitting in. If a dog seems high to medium energy, I try to provide stimulation through walks and play. I also make it a priority to respect the boundaries of your pet. I will give them space and let them come to me if they are shy, will be gentle and patient if I sense anxiety, all the while trying to let them know that they are safe & that I am a friend.
About: Hello and thanks for stopping by! I’m Sarah and would love to take care of your furry friends! I love all animals. I have had a life time of experience with beautiful critters, having grown up caring for cats, dogs, rabbits, guinea pigs and more. I have taken care of countless pups and cats over many decades; safety and love have always been paramount when animals are in my care. I am currently offering the following services: boarding in your home, dog walking and home visits 😊 I have experience with a wide variety of pups (and kitties) from 5lb chihuahuas to a large Italian mastiff! I am comfortable with medication administration, exercise, senior dog/kitty care and any special needs or requests. In addition, I, of course, will take immaculate care of your home while pet sitting. I am all about learning the routine of your pup(s) and/or kitty(ies) so you can travel or be work stress free. I will take daily pictures/videos of your pets with detailed updates. I’m happy to set up a meet and greet at your convenience. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friends. Numerous references available upon request. Some examples of pet care jobs I have done are: for a cat named Kona. A kind and curious fellow on the island of St John, USVI. As well as caring for Kona, I managed the owners home, property, and vehicles. Kona and I loved cuddling on the porch in the cool island breeze together! Another, Annabelle, a large Italian Mastiff. She loved going on long walks by the river near her home in Connecticut. She also loved chewing on special bones I was permitted by her owner to give her. She required a weekly bath/shower which was messy but fun! A third example are Gracie and Monti, both medium sized rescues. Gracie had a lot of energy and walking was a must sometimes several times a day. She and I would go on long walks on trails and she enjoyed wading in water to cool off after a long walk. Monti on the other hand was a dignified little fellow. He was one to stop and smell the roses and everything along the way :) Monti had back surgery so needed to be lifted in and out of car and needed to be monitored so as to not jump up and re-injure his spine. Lastly, Jet Jet was a frisky rescue cat. He loved to play and cuddle and roll in fresh cat nip! I have cared for many more pets and their owners homes. Looking forward to hearing from you! xo, Sarah I work full time as a pet care provider. I am available for lengthy home stays as requested. I also do as many as 4 home visits and day and stay in shape with plenty of dog walking. :) Meeting the needs of a variety of pets is a huge part of my daily routine- I love it! I look forward to hearing from you. Sarah I follow instructions as to what you, the pet owner, would like done while I am with your pet. I can be reached by phone when I am walking, feeding, or cuddling with your dog or cat. I am excellent at following what protocol you have outlined for your pet. Safety and love are paramount when I am caring for your pet.
About: All throughout college I have done pet care and babysitting. I have a passion for taking care of people, pets, and making long lasting connections. I am very flexible with my schedule right now and I can walk dogs mornings, mid day, and afternoons. I am a very active person who enjoys walking in West cliff and I would love to bring a dog along in these walks. I have always made sure to be extra cautious with dogs I’m sitting, keeping them on lease or in a fenced area. I always practice safe walking procedures and keep distance from other dogs if needed.

“Marina took good care of our pup overnight. He had a great time and fun on their walks and beach adventures. We appreciated the fun pics and videos :) Happy to have Marina watch our dog anytime. Thanks!”

“My family and I were very pleased with the care our Lab received from Lisa S for her 3-night stay. We felt comfortable that she was being looked after well and was taken on lots of walks. Photos and videos confirmed that our dog was happy. 'Highly recommend Lisa for her attention to detail. We'll definitely request her again!”

“Ranger, as usual, had an amazing stay with Anusha and her family. We are so grateful to have a wonderful place for him to be while we are away where he’s loved and just part of the family. We get frequent photo updates too which we all love.”
