About: I have owned animals for as long as I can remember, ranging from goats, to rabbits, to dogs, and cats. I am equipped in senior care due to my own senior cat, as well as my childhood dog (not living with me)! I have been pet sitting for friends, neighbors, and family for years and love doing it! I absolutely adore all critters and want more than anything to offer them a safe, comfortable, and fun space when their people are away! I'm currently a full time student at UCSC, but I'm only on campus a couple days a week, so I will have plenty of time to take care of animals I'm watching! I'm available most days of the week, save the afternoons and evenings on Thursdays, as well as Friday mornings. That being said, I am still more than happy to host your babies while I'm at school for a few hours! I have a lush, fenced in backyard that is perfect for some supervised outdoor/play time! I live with three cats, two of which are very friendly and love keeping other critters company! The third cat is my senior baby who prefers to keep to herself most of the time, but occasionally enjoys the company of elderly dogs!

I am a newly graduated alumni from UCSC and am looking for part-time gigs while I get situated with this post-grad life. “Taryn was awesome! We were traveling to Pescadero for the day, with my daughter, son in-law and grandpuppies, but didn't want to leave them in the car while we had lunch and walked the town. Taryn met us at the restaurant and took the dogs to a nearby play area. She was on time, professional, and so caring with the pups. There human mommy was nervous to leave them, but felt comfortable with Taryn. We had a relaxing lunch, and the pooches came back happy and tired! I’ve looked after big and small dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, and kids of all ages. I really love being around animals and getting to know their different personalities. About: I have grown up in Santa Cruz my whole life. I have had many different pets and want to pursue my love for animals by taking care of yours. I have also taken an animal training course at Cabrillo College. I currently work part time as an EMT and on my days off I love to be outside and walk my dog, I usually dedicate my whole day to be with her whether it’s bike rides, walks, or beach days. I take my dog to her annual vet check ups. My dog has insurance and is currently eating 2 meals a day. One in the morning and one at night. She is a very loving dog to humans and other dogs. I trust her off leash at the beach so we do that regularly. She also enjoys cruiser bike rides on west cliff.
