About: Dog owner of 15 years, experienced shelter volunteer and pet sitter, and dog foster parent. Experience with all ages, temperaments and needs - let me help take care of yours! I'm between jobs, so I have plenty of time to take care of your dog or cat. I love all animals and have spent many years volunteering at shelters and fostering dogs in addition to owning my own. I have experience with dogs of every size, age and temperament, and animals with medical conditions. I'm currently available Tuesdays-Thursdays, 9:30am-4:30pm, and have availability on Saturdays and Sundays. I can crate your dog if needed, and keep pets in their enclosures or other safe spaces. I can walk dogs, do potty breaks, refill food and water, practice basic commands (mental stimulation!), play, give lots of pets, clean litter, administer basic medications, etc.

About: I have always had dogs growing up. When I was younger we did have a cat. I was a junior handler and dog trainer for my aunt who bred French Bulldogs for AKC shows. I practiced a little obedience/agility training during the same time. While in this setting I practiced with many different dog breeds and am comfortable handling any size dog. I helped a friend with her dog boarding company for a while and I encountered many different dogs here as well and not all as well trained. I absolutely love all animals I encounter. I love helping friends and family out with their animals while they are away. During college and high school, I would house sit/dog sit for friends. I have been around animals my entire life and I feel comfortable dealing with any situation thrown at me, whether it be a dog that isn't very good on a leash yet or a nervous animal who just needs a patient person to help take care of them while their family isn't there. My family currently has the goofiest labradoodle and Airedale terrier! We have two sweet pups, Gizmo, a poodle terrier, and Mazzy, a french bulldog. I am allergic to cats so while I'm happy to do drop ins and such with cats staying overnight with cats can be very difficult for me so I prefer to not sleep in homes that have cats. I am happy to wake up early and visit frequently if you have cats and dogs that way I can make sure every member of the family stays happy. Can't wait to meet your pups! I will be doing walks with my baby Mira either on my back in a carrier or in a stroller. If your pup isn't kid friendly I won't be a great fit, but I will keep my daughter separate just to keep pups comfortable and my daughter safe. My own home is not ideal as I already have two pups and a young baby at home, so I will not be able to accept any more pets into my home.

About: I raised by dog from one month old and trained him his whole life! I grew up around dogs my whole life and love them. Animals mean so much to me and I love caring for them. I work two days a week on Wednesday 12-4 and Thursday 2-4:30. I also have school five days a week. Monday 8-2, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8-12 and Thursday 8-12. I care for pets in making sure they have space for themselves but are also reaching the love and attention they need to be happy and healthy. I will watch pets in your home!

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. My husband and I pet sat for two elderly Bichon Frises (17 years old!) every year while their owners traveled, carefully managing their diet, medications, and gentle exercise. I’ve also grown to love cats after living with Archie—my first real cat roommate—and have experience gently brushing, bonding, and caring for both indoor and stray cats (I even accidentally helped my mom adopt a kitten when I took in a stray!). Most recently, I taught my in-laws’ senior dog Ellie new tricks at the age of 7, proving that even older pups can learn with patience and love. We can’t have pets in our home right now due to landlord restrictions, so pet sitting is how I stay connected to what I love most—animals. I am a bioengineering Ph.D. Student, most of the time I have freedom of picking my hours, as well as working from home when needed! I do my best to keep your pet’s day feeling as normal as possible while you’re away. I’m extremely respectful of your home and always aim to leave it just as you left it (or better!). I double-check doors and windows, never leave pets unsupervised outside, and keep a tidy, pet-safe environment throughout the stay. I also send regular updates—photos, videos, and check-ins—so you can relax knowing your fur baby is happy and well cared for. If you ever need in-my-home care in the future (pending landlord approval!), my goal would be to provide a cozy, stress-free space that’s clean, safe, and set up to meet your pet’s unique needs.

Taryn met us at the restaurant and took the dogs to a nearby play area. She was on time, professional, and so caring with the pups. There human mommy was nervous to leave them, but felt comfortable with Taryn. We had a relaxing lunch, and the pooches came back happy and tired! About: I have three fully grown akitas at home and one malitpoo. So I have experience with all types of dogs and love going on walks with them. I’m currently a full time student, but I have the weekends, Tuesday, and Thursday completely off. I do live on campus, but I have a car so I’m more accessible. I do everything that is instructed to me along with spending quality time with the animals to fulfill their needs. I also always double check all gates and doors are locked and secured before leaving the premises.
