“Our pet was well taken care of. He seemed happy. He had lots of place to run around since they have a nice backyard. It was his first time socializing and boarding with other dogs and they made sure he was fine with all. We recently found Steve and did a meet and greet and it was very obvious that our pups were comfortable with him and he was comfortable with them. “This was the first time I tried a pet sitter app. My family are my usual dog sitters but they were all unavailable. So I requested Leah because my sister in law told me about her. I was really nervous but my sister in law told me about Rover & Leah and how much my fur nephews loved it there. We had to go on an unexpected trip for a funeral and Leah took care of my girl, Callie & fur nephews. Week before I even dropped off Callie, Leah was responsive to my questions and kind & patient with me. She let me know to create instructions on how to care for Callie & was so sweet & appreciative when I gave her back a full “book” of instructions. She was very reassuring that she & her family would care for Callie really well. Once my husband & I dropped off Callie to Leah, we were given a warm and welcoming greeting. She was inviting and just gave a very calming energy. Her place was clean, full of toys dog safe. Her furniture & products she used felt dog friendly & like a perfect second home for Callie. I felt really good about leaving Callie with her. During the trip we received updates. If I found myself just missing Callie and decided to check in by messaging Leah through the app, she was so responsive!. I knew Leah & her family were giving Callie lots of love & care (made obvious by the pictures sent through rover app). I was able to focus on family during this trip knowing Callie was in great hands! I only left Callie with Leah for 2 nights but, after this experience I would trust Leah to care for Callie for week(s) if needed. In the future, and if need to find care for my dog again, I will hope and pray Leah is available the days I need. She was awesome!!”

About: I raised by dog from one month old and trained him his whole life! I grew up around dogs my whole life and love them. Animals mean so much to me and I love caring for them. I work two days a week on Wednesday 12-4 and Thursday 2-4:30. I also have school five days a week. Monday 8-2, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 8-12 and Thursday 8-12. About: I have always had dogs growing up. When I was younger we did have a cat. I was a junior handler and dog trainer for my aunt who bred French Bulldogs for AKC shows. I practiced a little obedience/agility training during the same time. While in this setting I practiced with many different dog breeds and am comfortable handling any size dog. I helped a friend with her dog boarding company for a while and I encountered many different dogs here as well and not all as well trained. I absolutely love all animals I encounter. I love helping friends and family out with their animals while they are away. During college and high school, I would house sit/dog sit for friends. I have been around animals my entire life and I feel comfortable dealing with any situation thrown at me, whether it be a dog that isn't very good on a leash yet or a nervous animal who just needs a patient person to help take care of them while their family isn't there. My family currently has the goofiest labradoodle and Airedale terrier! We have two sweet pups, Gizmo, a poodle terrier, and Mazzy, a french bulldog. I am allergic to cats so while I'm happy to do drop ins and such with cats staying overnight with cats can be very difficult for me so I prefer to not sleep in homes that have cats. I am happy to wake up early and visit frequently if you have cats and dogs that way I can make sure every member of the family stays happy. Can't wait to meet your pups! I will be doing walks with my baby Mira either on my back in a carrier or in a stroller. If your pup isn't kid friendly I won't be a great fit, but I will keep my daughter separate just to keep pups comfortable and my daughter safe. About: I take my dogs for runs, and I travel with her some times! I love watching after dogs and being physical! Exercise is very important! Currently I live with family and they help take care of our animals as well and take my dog and cat for walks, we live in nature so they sun bathe and frolic . I can offer going to peoples houses and that means making sure they're well fed and entertained and just really taking care of them anyway they need. Gracie had a lot of energy and walking was a must sometimes several times a day. She and I would go on long walks on trails and she enjoyed wading in water to cool off after a long walk. Monti on the other hand was a dignified little fellow. He was one to stop and smell the roses and everything along the way :) Monti had back surgery so needed to be lifted in and out of car and needed to be monitored so as to not jump up and re-injure his spine. Lastly, Jet Jet was a frisky rescue cat. He loved to play and cuddle and roll in fresh cat nip! I have cared for many more pets and their owners homes. About: I adopted my dog at 6 weeks old and he has not gotten out of the puppy phase until he was 4 years old. Throughout those years I've learned to redirect his attention onto something else using treats and words that he can understand. I handle more active/ hyper dogs well during walks and occasionally like to run with them too to burn some energy. Im currently a full- time student with the afternoons free everyday. I have no class on Tuesday and Thursday so I can my spend time with dogs full-time those days! As well as weekends. I like to prioritize enrichment/play and food when I care for a pet because feeding time varies based on each animal. Play time is also important because it's their enrichment time and it is what will tire the pet the best way possible at the end of the day. Play time also allows me to bond with the pet and enjoy my time doing so. I find it be the most rewarding part of taking care of pets.

About: What sets me apart is that caring for animals isn’t just something I do—it’s something I’ve lived my entire life. I grew up with a golden retriever named Arwen, and from 8th grade on, I was fully responsible for her walks, training, and care. I even started waking up an hour earlier every day just to make sure she got her morning walk in before school! Later, when I moved to the U.S. for college, I helped raise and train my roommate’s husky puppy, Ava, who struggled with separation anxiety. I’d take her to class, skate with her to tire her out, and help her stay calm and confident. It was like co-parenting a very energetic fur baby—and I loved every minute. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and personalities—from hyper puppies to senior dogs with medical needs. About: Hello folks, we have been a large dog family for over 12 years. Unfortunately I lost my puppy this year. It's too early for me to get a new pet but we miss him dearly. While I had him I was always looking for a family that could board him while I was out traveling or visiting family. It's time for me to return the favor to other dog families who need that support and help. I live near Sunnyvale downtown in a single family home with a large lot and know the neighborhood well. We offer a calm, home environment — not a kennel — where dogs get personalized care and lots of love. I send regular photo updates so you always know how your pup is doing. As dog owner myself, I understand what pet parents look for — reliability, communication, and genuine love for animals. Your dog will get plenty of attention, playtime, and cuddles during their stay with me. I will be happy to board your babies and take care of them while you are gone. Give me a few days of notice so I can plan my work schedule and travel plans accordingly. For longer stays, please give me a few weeks notice.
