I’m a lifelong dog lover and proud dog mom to my sweet 3-year-old Maltipoo 🐶 I’ve been dog-sitting for years and genuinely love getting to spend time with all different kinds of pups. I work remotely, so my schedule is super flexible and can easily be tailored to your dog’s needs. I’m also currently getting my master’s degree, and I use Rover to help support my tuition, which makes this something I truly care about and put a lot of effort into. About: Love taking long walks or just playing in the yard. Have had a Jack Russell puppy who needed lots of attention and training. With outside help and the willingness to learn it was a good relationship. I work full time but can walk a dog in the morning and after work, if close enough lunchtime. Weekends I am available so my schedule is more opened. Cat Care would be the same. Could give the attention they crave. In the clients home, I would listen and be guided by what the pet needs are. With cats I would make sure to give them playtime while on my visit besides making sure they are properly feed.

Just let me know what your pet needs ❤️ When sitting at your home I prefer to stick to the spaces your pets are most comfortable in or used to as well as stick to a similar routine. I find this helps with separation anxiety and any confusion the pets may have since their favorite human is gone! If possible, I like to take dogs for a longer walk on the first day to help us bond and help me learn how they behave. For other pets, this may look more like a longer playtime, enrichment activity, etc. I want to make sure they’re as comfortable as possible with me in their space so that first day is important to me!

About: I work from home Monday - Friday, which gives me to flexibility to be around your animals throughout the day for potty breaks and love! I have had dogs of my own and have house sit for family members and friends animals. I have an 11 year old German Shepherd in my house so I am familiar and comfortable with big dogs as well as small dogs! I work from home so this gives me the flexibility to be around your animals as new. I live in Scott’s Valley so I can go as far as Aptos Hills or deeper into the SC mountains into Ben Lommond. I do workout typically from 8pm-10pm daily. I treat all animals with the same love and care as I do for my own. I have plenty of time to go for a morning walk before work or an afternoon walk on my lunch break. I am familiar with crate training in case they need to go inside that for bed time or if they are alone. I am very flexible with what the pet needs :)

About: I have grown up in Santa Cruz my whole life. I have had many different pets and want to pursue my love for animals by taking care of yours. I have also taken an animal training course at Cabrillo College. I currently work part time as an EMT and on my days off I love to be outside and walk my dog, I usually dedicate my whole day to be with her whether it’s bike rides, walks, or beach days. I take my dog to her annual vet check ups. My dog has insurance and is currently eating 2 meals a day. One in the morning and one at night. She is a very loving dog to humans and other dogs. I trust her off leash at the beach so we do that regularly. She also enjoys cruiser bike rides on west cliff.
