About: I love all animals and have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rats, opossums, raccoons and squirrels! I have a pretty open schedule. I am active and enjoy hiking and adventuring. I live in a cabin tucked into the woods a short walk from the river. About: My husband and I love dogs.... when our beloved Yorkie died a few years ago and we retired early from city government, we decided to focus our love on caring for other people's dogs in their homes. We now have several on-going sit relationships in central California and are happy to have so many dogs in our lives that feel like grand babies to us! If you're interested in establishing an on-going relationship with us, to make your dog(s) feel as comfortable as possible when you have to leave town, hit us up! Our preference is to work with 1 or 2 older/more relaxed dogs, that can be left alone for at least 4 hours at a time. We lean towards being home bodies, but we enjoy going on walks/outtings, having play time and lots of snuggles. If we seem like a simpatico match to care for your pup, please reach out for our availability! We have a flexible schedule and can work around your needs/timing with plenty of notice. We enjoy exploring new areas and are happy to have your dogs show us all their favorite spots to hang out! Rather than upend your dog's routine on top of you being out of town, we will come to you! We are willing/able to handle any morning/evening routines (food/water, oral meds, walks, potty needs) and your dog can sleep with us if so inclined.

About: I have grown up in Santa Cruz my whole life. I have had many different pets and want to pursue my love for animals by taking care of yours. I have also taken an animal training course at Cabrillo College. I currently work part time as an EMT and on my days off I love to be outside and walk my dog, I usually dedicate my whole day to be with her whether it’s bike rides, walks, or beach days. I take my dog to her annual vet check ups. My dog has insurance and is currently eating 2 meals a day. One in the morning and one at night. She is a very loving dog to humans and other dogs. I trust her off leash at the beach so we do that regularly. She also enjoys cruiser bike rides on west cliff.

About: I have had experience with feeding my friends and neighbors cats when they were away on vacation, but nothing professional. I do not have any training skills, but have dealt with temperamental cats who do not like sharing their space. I have had dogs and cats in my family since I was a child. We had small dogs as well as medium/large dogs and cats. I currently have 2 cats at home! I work full time Monday - Friday so this would be causal meetings and walks. I can feed them dinner or hang with them on week nights. That could be playing with them at their home, taking them to a dog park, or taking them for a walk. My weekends are wide open and I can hang out with your little dude whenever you need :). Unless otherwise specified in my schedule! I live in a one bedroom apartment that is quite spacious with a patio. There are cat toys and scratch posts everywhere. The patio is a catio, which is equipped with cat towers and cat grass. I play fetch with my tempermental boy because it gets his energy out very quickly and he LOVES it. My girly girl is very easy and plays with almost anything. I am more than happy to play with your kitty however they would like. For dogs, I will hang out and play with them at their house or take them to a dog park to get fresh air and more room to run. Fetch is a favorite as well as tug of war! I can take them on long walks around the neighborhood or the beach if the owner is ok with that!

She met with us beforehand and clearly cared a lot about making sure she was doing exactly what we asked and caring for our dog the way he needs. She kept in contact with us daily, sent us photos and videos of our dog living his absolute BEST LIFE with snuggles and walks and belly rubs. We returned and the house was tidy as we had left it. About: I have been caring for animals all of my life. I have pet/house sat for many friends, family members and neighbors throughout my life. I am told that I bring a soothing, calm presence that puts both humans and animals at ease. I deeply love animals. I am a naturally neat person so I will also keep your home clean and bring in mail, water plants, etc. I am highly responsible and retired from doing hospice work. I do grief support remote work on a part time basis. I am in great health, a meditator since high school and highly experienced in caring for all types of pets. If you choose me to care for your beloved pets and home, I will make sure that they feel safe, comfortable and nurtured and will give them all the play, exercise and attention they desire. I am local so am able to meet with you beforehand to ensure it is a good fit. I work remotely using my own phone on a part time basis providing grief support to people so I can accept pet/house sitting gigs. I can physically be there to help your animal companions feel safe and secure while you are away. I am specifically looking for housesitting/petsitting gigs. In a client's home, I make sure that I adhere to the schedule already set by the owners. I find that this helps animals with anxiety about their human companions being away. I also provide calm, loving presence which helps them feel comfortable and secure. I take them for walks, play, snuggle, basically whatever they do regularly with their humans. But I also respect boundaries, for instance, I snuggle with pets only if they initiate it and/or are into it. I deeply love animals and can easily tune into their needs and wants.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of breeds and small to large animals as well, sense I was super young till now I do it as a part time job and not just for family and friends Im available all week for your pet care needs!
