He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. About: For the last 6 years I have had different friends and family rely on me for dog, cat, and rabbit care. I have been responsible for scheduled feedings, bathing, walks, and of course playing and quality time. My goal is always to be communicative, reliable, and adaptable to any and all of your pets individual needs. I currently work full-time in retail with a schedule that varies per week, but would love to use any of my free time and days off to spend with pets. All shifts are 8 hours or less and I am more than willing to make time before or after (or both) any of my shifts. My biggest priority in any situation is to remain communicative and careful, as I understand what it’s like to have your pet in somebody else’s care. In cases of pet-sitting in your home I can be trusted to be respectful of all belongings, keeping a clean space, and going above and beyond care instructions. In cases of boarding in my home, I live in a two story house in the hills of Scotts Valley with two other animal-loving housemates. We have a large fenced backyard on a hill and plenty of hiking trails nearby to stay active.

About: Growing up, I had a golden retriever named Daisy. Daisy is was from an organization I worked with called NorCal Golden Rescue. We fostered her for a couple of weeks but fell in love with her undeniable love and decided to adopt her. NorCal Golden Rescue mainly rescues golden retrievers who have been neglected and abandoned from the streets of Taiwan and bring them to the San Francisco Bay Area where they are paired with a fur-ever home. I have with dogs of all ages and temperaments from young lively puppies to old mellow senior citizen doggos. About: I have experience with pet sitting for friends and neighbors over the past year along with having had all different breeds of dogs growing up and enjoy their company. I love to go for walks, hikes, the beach and would love to take your dog with me. I've had to give senior dogs medication and look after them. My husband works from home so one of us is always home with your dog. I am ready when I get home to take your dog with me on a walk or hike. Your dog will have access to a dog run area all day long and a large backyard when we are home. I have a house with a large fenced in yard and your dog will have complete access to outside at all times. At this time I don't have a dog of my own, so there will be no conflict between dogs. I currently check on and feed a family friends dogs on the weekends when needed, I always leave the space how I found it and make sure the dogs have enough water and haven't gotten into anything they are not supposed to, I have experience with difficult dogs and have been researching dog behavior and training these past 3 years. I take every job I'm given very seriously and I am dedicated to the safety and well being of any animal I am responsible for, and I am more than willing to follow any special instructions in regards to your animal. every dog is different and I aim to give the best care to every dog put in my care. I work 2 days a week, and go to school 3 days a week, but I have lots of downtime on the weekends and evenings during the week when caring for animals in your home I will always double check that doors are closed and lights are off/on, and leave everything the way it was when I got there, as well as making sure your dog hasn't gotten into anything.

In the past few years, I’ve lived with a Retriever puppy - training him to be a sociable young man that goes potty outside. I’m the go-to for my friends and family when it comes to pet sitting. They trust me with their fur babies and appreciate how I maintain the routine their pet is familiar with. I work fully remote, so I have lots of flexibility when it comes to walks, playtime, and housesitting! On weekdays, I’m most available after 11:00am PT. I’m occasionally available on weekends! He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. He came home completely grounded. I was able to enjoy my time away so much more because he clearly enjoyed his time with Madhumita. Thanks for your attentiveness to a sensitive dog, Mita!”

“Norelvis and Chris did a great job watching our pup, Reggie. He's a 7 mo old puppy and this was his first overnight away from home since we adopted him 2 months ago. We booked a meet & greet a week before to get everyone familiar with each other. Their house is very puppy proofed and they have great indoor and outdoor space for the dogs to hang out and play. They even helped Reggie work on some homework exercises for his puppy class he's in (practicing down, stay, leave it, etc). They sent photo and video updates daily. Super smooth experience. We recently found Steve and did a meet and greet and it was very obvious that our pups were comfortable with him and he was comfortable with them.
