About: I raised by dog from one month old and trained him his whole life! I grew up around dogs my whole life and love them. Animals mean so much to me and I love caring for them. About: We have a large, fenced in, secure yard with lots of exciting smells and places to explore. Plenty of room inside our home as well, plus we both work from home, so your pet will never be left alone. My husband has been the manager of a farm at a children's summer camp for a number of years that has dogs, chickens, goats pigs and more. We’re both comfortable with administering any medications your pet might need. We work from home and have a very flexible schedule. Your pet won’t be left alone. We’d love to make connections so we have returning visitors! We’ve got a fenced in yard with lots of exciting smells and places to explore. We’ve also got two of our own friendly dogs who are happy to share their space.
About: I have cared for dogs, cats, fish, and other animals all my life! I rescue animals when I can, have fostered, bottle fed, treated injuries, given injections and medications to many animals. Animals are my comfort zone- just being around them is my joy! I can do short walks, herding dog games, feed, or provide overnight care. I especially love herding and other working breed dogs, and typically get along with even difficult animals (feral cats for example!) I would love to meet you and your pets! I am a recently retired high school teacher sill working part time at UCSC, so am available most days to care for your pets. About: I love all animals and have a lot of experience with dogs, cats, reptiles, birds, rats, opossums, raccoons and squirrels! I have a pretty open schedule. I am active and enjoy hiking and adventuring. I live in a cabin tucked into the woods a short walk from the river. I currently work on boats and do this in the off-season or when things are slow. After recently losing my beloved dog, I’m looking to fill the void in my heart by sharing my love with your pets. My dog was with us for 15 years and was loved and well cared for. I will make sure that you pet gets the exercise they need, both mentally and physically, Aside from the daily walks, I also like to take them to the park to play if possible.I will treat them as my own I have taken training classes to learn how to train dogs and understand dog behavior. I’d also enjoy taking them for a long walk in the evening or to the park—I believe a dog who gets plenty of walks and their energy out is a happy dog. I’ll make sure to meet your dog’s needs. If your dog prefers to stay home due to age, size, or other reasons, I’ll adjust the walking distance and schedule to keep them engaged, even when they’re at home. I don’t currently have any pets, so visiting dogs will receive my full attention. I’ll be home most of the time from Friday through Monday, allowing me to provide frequent supervision, potty breaks, walks, and companionship. I also have a crate available if your dog is crate-trained or if you would like them crated for sleeping or when appropriate. I’ll follow your pet’s regular routine and any specific care instructions to help them feel safe, comfortable, and at home during their stay.
