About: For the last 6 years I have had different friends and family rely on me for dog, cat, and rabbit care. I have been responsible for scheduled feedings, bathing, walks, and of course playing and quality time. My goal is always to be communicative, reliable, and adaptable to any and all of your pets individual needs. I currently work full-time in retail with a schedule that varies per week, but would love to use any of my free time and days off to spend with pets. All shifts are 8 hours or less and I am more than willing to make time before or after (or both) any of my shifts. “Kendra, our sitter, was maximally sweet! The setting was a bit rough. Our kitty lived upstairs in a private room without furniture but well heated. So make sure you bring bedding your kitty will be comfortable with. Also, the household has a large friendly dog that likes to bark at strangers. Our kitty wouldn't be comfortable hanging around with him. But if your cat likes dawgs, this is the place for them! Doggie lives downstairs; kitty was upstairs. Never the twain would meet! Overall, definitely recommended. The pricing is affordable, the setting comfortable, and we know the sitter gave our kitty all the attention she wanted.”

About: Growing up, I had a golden retriever named Daisy. Daisy is was from an organization I worked with called NorCal Golden Rescue. We fostered her for a couple of weeks but fell in love with her undeniable love and decided to adopt her. NorCal Golden Rescue mainly rescues golden retrievers who have been neglected and abandoned from the streets of Taiwan and bring them to the San Francisco Bay Area where they are paired with a fur-ever home. I have with dogs of all ages and temperaments from young lively puppies to old mellow senior citizen doggos. If need be I have experience with delivering oral and topical medication to dogs; as well as putting on the cone of shame :(. I am open to caring for dogs that need extra special care and attention such as reactivity or anxiety, or likely to run away if given the chance. I look forward helping out with your animals in whatever way I can. I work 2 days a week, and go to school 3 days a week, but I have lots of downtime on the weekends and evenings during the week when caring for animals in your home I will always double check that doors are closed and lights are off/on, and leave everything the way it was when I got there, as well as making sure your dog hasn't gotten into anything.

“My lab mix Steinbeck had a great relaxed time at his first overnight stretch (3 nights and days) at Camp Mita, after previously spending several good doggy daycare days there. He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself.
