About: For most of my High School education I had watched The Dog Whisperer religiously, which helped to ingrain my love for animals especially towards canines. I slowly began to pursue fields in which I could help surround myself with animals and careers pertaining to animals. I started after high school and became a volunteer at the San Jose Animal Care Services located on Monterey Rd. in San José. I was working on the side while going to school as I volunteered to help compensate the volunteer hours. As a designated dog walker I was introduced to small toy dogs down to 4 pounds up to larger breeds ranging upwards of 100 pounds. I am located in a single-family residence in a suburban enclave in Evergreen. We have a fenced backyard with lots of space to stretch out and enjoy the outdoors. The local elementary school is a 5-minute walk away, featuring its own walking trail and a fenced grass area. Animal care is my second nature. I can understand body signs and cues when it comes to how an animal is feeling and the best way to approach them. I've held up against big dogs all the way down to the little ones. Each animal is unique. The most important thing is love and respect.

I help neighbors, family, and friends watch their furry friends when they are in need. I love staying active and what better way than spending time with animals! About: I’ve had a pet of my own for more than 10 years and have helped friends and family care for their pets while they were away. I love all type of dogs from breeds to size. I have a full time corporate job that demand three days in office. I am available to assist from Thursday to Sunday. There should be plenty of play time and ability to keep your pet company. I have a pet on my own with extra crate for your pup if needed. I am experienced with walking and controlling high energy dog. My house won’t have a yard so dog will be safe within the house.

About: Before being a dog mom I pet sat for family friends when they went on vacation. I met Chocolate 6 years ago while I was in Colombia, when he was 2.5 years old. He was sadly abused by his previous owner and when I got him he was very shy and not yet potty trained. I trained him myself and now Chocolate has regained his trust in humans entirely. In fact, his favorite thing to do when we go to the dog park every evening is to beg all the rest of the dog parents for pets. If you choose me to be your pet sitter, your dog can accompany Chocolate and I on our daily morning walks, hikes that we go on twice a week and daily evening trips to the dog park. Additionally, with your permission, your dog can enjoy some of the organic home cooked food I make for Choco. I cook fresh food every 3 days and vary the ingredients each time. I use the following ground meats: goat, venison, lamb mixed with cod fish, turkey and chicken breast. I use a variation of the following vegetables: broccoli, spinach, carrots, cabbage, pumpkin, butternut squash, sweet potato and kale. I cook this in bone broth and mix this with one of the following: lentils, chickpeas or rice. Lastly, due to my experience of taking care of my brother's senior dog, who I used to live with I can offer helpful advice, that will make your senior dog's golden years more pleasant. For example, I recommended my brother to by his dog Titus a raised dog bowl to help with his mobility issues while eating. The raised dog bowl prevents Titus from losing his balance, when lowering his head to eat, while the rubber mat prevent his paws from slipping. If you choose me as your pet sitter your dog will receive lots of love and care that warms their hearts, home cooked meals to maintain their taste buds and bellies happy and lots of excercise to prevent separation anxiety, that will make them feel like my home is their home away from home. Choco and I look forward to meeting you and your pup! I am currently home full time for the next 5 months while I recover from a shoulder injury, so I would be with your pet the entire day and night except for when I go to my physical therapy, accupuncture and doctor's appointments. I cook fresh food every 3 days for Choco and walk him in every morning and enjoys the dog park every afternoon. I have a fenced yard and only live with my dog and father. My dog is extremely friendly with all dogs and loves to play.

I’ve also looked after pets for family members, including feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. I don’t have a pet right now but miss having a dog around so joined Rover! I work from home so your pet will have a lot of attention. I have experience taking care of anxious dogs and grew up with rescues, and committed to following your pet’s routine and care instructions. About: I’ve taken care of cats since I was 10, caring for my own furbaby as well as the pets of family and friends. This also includes dogs who are bigger and energetic therefore I am comfortable caring for dogs of such nature. I have also cared for a sick pet before so I have experience administering medication and keeping a close eye on them to ensure their safety. I am currently in the process of job hunting so I have a free schedule to care for your pets! All I ask is for at least a 2 day notice, meaning you are booking for a date 2 days in advance so I can prep! In your home I will be sure to follow all instructions carefully! I’ve cared for healthy pets as well as sick pets so I have experience with administering medication if needed. I am comfortable with crating dogs as well as taking them on walks when needed!

About: Your dog’s vacation starts when you leave! I’ve been my family’s designated dog sitter for the past 8 years—and I wouldn’t have it any other way. I’ve cared for my grandma’s Maltese while she’s spent months in Mexico, and I’ve also loved taking care of my sister’s German Shepherd and Goldendoodle. Big or small, fluffy or goofy, I treat every dog like family (because that’s exactly what they are). Expect lots of love, playtime, and a few extra compliments. Fair warning though…your dog might come back with a new favorite human 🙌 Currently in between jobs so definitely don’t mind spending my free time with dogs. About: I’ve taken care of a bunch of fur babies. Big, medium and small. My friends and family can always rely on caring for their babies. About: I’ve always loved taking care of all sorts of animals since Elementary school. I saw it as very enjoyable and rewarding rather than boring or stressful. When taking care of an animal I’d always make sure they were fed, given water, had a good amount of play time, were taken outside, or anything that was needed to make the pet and owner satisfied! I’m going to begin college during the summer term but since my classes are online I’ll have more than enough time to ensure your pet is well taken care of! I’m available Monday - Friday after 12pm. Although if needed I can go earlier if i’m informed beforehand. I’ve always been respectful whenever I enter anyone’s home, If there’s any special instructions needed before entering the home such as taking of shoes (ect) i’ll be more than happy to do so!

About: I’ve owned two dogs since they were puppies who now 12 and 11. I’ve also cared for my friends’ and family member’s dogs (elderly dachshund, frenchie, Boston terrier, and 3x labradoodles) for extended periods of time when they need a caregiver for when they’re out of town. I’m new to rover but experienced in pet care. Currently, I work full time. I let my dogs out in the morning and they guard the house while I’m away. My mom is also at home to let them out. Once I get home, they get their cuddles and runs (usually about a mile). On the weekends we try to go to our relatives to let them play in the backyard together and I take dogs out for a long sniff walk. At my house, the dogs mostly hang out in my room. I also have a fenced backyard for them to play in. When I’m at others’ homes, I follow instructions that are left behind to the T. I always reach out if I need clarification or have any questions.

About: My passion for dogs started when I was a young girl with our family’s dog — a beautiful golden retriever named “Bear” — and continued throughout my life. Passion turned professional when I started with Rover 8 years ago. As with any consummate pro, I continue to expand my skill set. To that end, I am currently taking a course in canine massage therapy at the Holistic Animals Studies School. I’m fitness trainer and I love the outdoors which means whilst your dog is in my care he/she will enjoy plenty of excercise via long walks around my neighborhood and frequent games of fetch in my spacious back yard. More adventurous dogs enjoy swims in my pool or runs on the beach (with owner approval, of course). Senior dog or those with special need are welcome to hang out on the couch and watch TV or sunbathe on my pool deck :) While you are away you will receive frequent updates and pictures of your dog. When a family member uses the front door we make sure your dog is in our front room with the door closed so we don’t have any escapes!

I keep things clean, calm, and secure so your pet feels safe in their familiar environment. About: My passion for dogs started when I was young with our family’s dog. I am an experienced dog sitter but Im new to this rover. Mostly I take care of my family and friends dog when they are going to a vacation. I am comfortable taking care of small dogs like chihuahua, shitzu, pomeranian, pug etc. I have a lot of patience and love for animals. Also, have experience in taking care of multiple dogs at home. I am trustworthy and reliable. I’ll do my best to get the experience that you wanted for your baby while your away. I am a full time mom with 4 kids that loves dogs. I am mostly home after I dropped off my kids to school. My mom also can help take care of the dogs while Im picking up kids. So I have a lot of free time to take care of dogs. When kids are out of school they can also help me out. I have a frontyard, backyard and patio where dogs can play for sometime in the morning. And if they gets tired and its too hot or cold outside they can go inside the house. I have a fenced house, with dog beds and some toys to play with. While you are away, I can send pictures for updates on how well your babies are doing so you don’t worry about your them. Ill treat your babies as mine while your away.
