He ensures they get walks, one of our dogs requires medication multiple times a day and John always makes sure she gets her meds, and most of all, our dogs are clearly happy when they stay with him! One of our dogs, Dakota, she is very attached to us and doesn’t always get excited to stay at new or different places, but when she sees us pulling up to John’s house, she hops out of the car and runs to his front door. Morning start early with fresh water feeding and walks exercise or outdoor potty break 30-60 mins. Midday scheduled walks30-45 mins for playtime and energy release. And final meal the day around 6.00 PM. Before bedtime a few hour I will take them outdoor potty break before sleep. About: Well…we all love to travel and can’t always bring our furry friends along. That’s where I come in! I definitely want to extend my home to your paw-friend! I'm fun, outdoorsy and active! I’ve been on Rover for quite some time. Unfortunately, I cannot accommodate long stays (four days or less) but fortunate to work from home on some days so your Four-Legged friend will have company most of the day. They might even get sick of me! ;) I live in a house with a pretty good sized backyard! The whole backyard is fenced. So he/she can roam around, sunbathe or even play catch! The neighborhood is also safe with other dog walkers.

About: I've had my own dog ever since I can remember a family dog was always there and I was never without one. I enjoy a dog's company and I'm sure undermine, your dog will feel right at home. I do work full time however my schedule is flexible to come home to give breaks and once I'm home from work they have my full attention with walks until bedtime. The weekend, I am home providing walks and care. Plenty of play time with my dog as well. I live in an apartment which across the street we have a small dog fenced area and as well as a convenient walking area in the surround premises.

He has historically struggled with resource guarding and gets highly agitated around food. I was naturally nervous about leaving him, but Sarah managed him with so much patience, care, and expertise. Under her care, Hotpot has made incredible progress: • Better Manners: He is now way more patient, especially around meal times. • Socialization: He actually learned how to play and peacefully coexist with other dogs! About: I've been around dogs of all sizes my entire life, so I know how to handle all pooches with patience and care. :) I've also pet sit for multiple cats, but I don't have as much experience with them compared to dogs. However, all of the kitties I've watched over, including senior cats, eventually grew quite attached to me. I'm attending college in late August, so my daily schedule is pretty flexible until then as I do not have a summer time job. However, I do have weekly meetings every Thursday that I must show up for. Other than that, I should be available every other week day at any time of day. Depending on your fur baby's needs and comfortability, I can crate them, keep them inside at all times, make sure there's an enclosed area outside, etc.

About: I have personal experience helping to train and walking reactive smaller dogs who need a confident and kind leader. I will be attending a PhD program in Clinical Psychology starting this fall and know the importance of catering to each soul individually whether it is a person or pet. I also have experience with older dogs who struggle with neurological issues know how important it is to ensure that the owner as well as the pet have piece of mind in their pet care. I am currently unemployed while I prepare for graduate school, therefore I am available each day of the week and can make any schedule work for me! I love to play enrichment games with my pets that engage their mind and body in order to help their cognition. A simple one I play with my sisters miniature schnauzer is putting his food under paper plates on top of a towel and he has to figure out how to access his food and he loves it! I always think a simple game after a walk is such a great way to tire them out on multiple levels!
About: Growing up, I've always had an affinity for animals. I've spent much of my life caring for my family's dog, and spending time caring for my neighbors' and friends' pets when they were away. I’ve got a senior cat of my own, and have also have spent time throughout the past several years caring for my friend's cat when she would travel frequently for work. I have experience administering medicine to cats, and am comfortable doing so for dogs as well. I am excited to be a part of Rover to spend time with more four-legged friends! “My lab mix Steinbeck had a great relaxed time at his first overnight stretch (3 nights and days) at Camp Mita, after previously spending several good doggy daycare days there. He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. He came home completely grounded. I was able to enjoy my time away so much more because he clearly enjoyed his time with Madhumita. Thanks for your attentiveness to a sensitive dog, Mita!”

About: I am an energetic and loving mama and wife. I have one chick left at home in the nest. Our elderly Black Lab, Bo just recently crossed the Rainbow Bridge at 14. I am a teacher by trade, turned small woman business owner, quite by accident. When I am not gathering women together for writing classes, workshops and retreats, you will find me hiking, dancing in my living room, or singing at red lights. I adore my family which includes my patient husband and 5 daughters. Due to my strong sense of accountability, I have become the “go-to” girl amongst friends and family to care for their homes and pets while they are gone. If I stay in your home, I intentionally leave it better than when I arrived because that is how I would like to return after a trip. I lovingly care for your space and Poochie as if they are my own. Being an avid hiker and walker, I look forward to opportunities for fitting active pet care into my daily routine. I miss our beloved Black Lab and live to love other doggos!
