About: I have been around animals my whole life. I grew up on a small farm, taking care of various animal. Now, as a Ph.D. student at Stanford, I am away from my family animals (which makes me sad). “My lab mix Steinbeck had a great relaxed time at his first overnight stretch (3 nights and days) at Camp Mita, after previously spending several good doggy daycare days there. He is a rescue with a trauma history so he can become quite nervous when I am away-- but not so at all when with MIta and family!--who gave him so much TLC as well as lovely walks. MIta's calm and friendly older yellow lab also clearly was a very reassuring presence to him. I loved receiving the gracious daily photos so I could see how "at home" he was making himself. He came home completely grounded. I was able to enjoy my time away so much more because he clearly enjoyed his time with Madhumita. Thanks for your attentiveness to a sensitive dog, Mita!”

About: I’ve loved dogs my whole life and grew up in a family that has always cared deeply about animals. Ever since I was a kid, I’ve helped take care of our family dogs by feeding them, playing with them, taking them outside, and making sure they were happy and comfortable. There’s always space to rest, play, and feel secure, and I’m able to give them the attention they need throughout the day. “My husband and I traveled all the way from Texas to watch the World Cup match, and we were looking for someone trustworthy to take care of our Keeper. Finding Yasemin was truly the best decision we could have made. While we were enjoying the game, Keeper had an amazing day filled with love, cuddles, and attention. She treated him like he was her own fluffy little pup. We received plenty of photos and videos throughout the day, which gave us so much peace of mind.
