First time Rover users, we found Katharine & instantly heard back from her. Any helicopter mom anxiety I had dissipated the moment Katharine came out to meet us at the car. Katharine has an amazing, warm energy that let me know our son & his anxiety would be well taken care of & managed. About: I love dogs and want to help with yours! I've cared for pups on Trusted Housesitters, for friends and have fostered many dogs. I'm still in the process of figuring out what type of dog would work best for me one day. Until I get my own pet, I want to help you take care of your furry friend! Part of my earnings will also go to local rescues. If you're interested in fostering, please let me know and I'll connect you with my favorite local rescues! I work from home and need to go on walks and take breaks. So would love to go on walks with your pet or have a furry friend to visit when I'm off duty. For housesitting, I can work from home at your place. Housesitting includes a 30 minute daily walk and potty breaks. If you need a longer walk for your pet, I will modify the pricing. For doggy day care, if you have a non-shedding dog who is potty trained, I'm happy to have a co-working buddy while I work from home if your dog doesn't like being alone. Plus, I'll have a reason to take a break and go outside! For boarding services, I will care for your dog if you can meet my same criteria above for doggy day care.

About: Hi! I’m Brenna, 26, and a lifelong dog lover. I grew up with dogs and especially miss my parents’ Australian Shepherd, so getting to spend time with pups genuinely makes me happy. I’d love to have a dog of my own someday, but for now I’m excited to help care for and spend time with yours! I work fully remote, which gives me a flexible schedule for walks, drop-ins, and plenty of quality time. I’m active, reliable, and always up for a beach walk, neighborhood stroll, or hiking adventure with a furry companion. I know how important it is to trust someone with your dog, and I’ll care for your pup like they’re part of the family. I’m young, active, and love being outdoors during the week and on weekends — whether that’s beach walks, neighborhood strolls, or getting out on the trails. Honestly, all I’m missing is a pup to bring along with me! I live in a cozy apartment with a small backyard and no other pets. I an about a 3-minute walk from a fire trail and a 5-minute walk to the beach, so there are plenty of opportunities for walks, outdoor time, and exercise.

About: Having raised my own puppy and dogsat for friends with anxious pups, I'm well versed in how to provide for a pup's full time needs. I can also provide puppy training in house manners (for example: waiting patiently to be fed, waiting at doors, simple commands). My care and attention to my own puppy, Chef, is full time and I am super excited to share that with your pup. We can go on excursions or hang around the house or play fetch at the dogpark. Whatever your pup is up for. I have a fenced yard and a friendly pup for your pup(s) to play with! And if your pup doesn't want company for whatever reason, I have gates and crates to make sure they are safe and happy in their own space. She even offered a meet-and-greet video call beforehand, which really put my mind at ease since it was our second time using Rover for dog sitting. 🙏 Throughout our communications, Winnie was friendly, responsive, and incredibly helpful. About: I have always had a passion for animal caretaking and my love for animals really took off after studying Animal Science at UC Davis. I started off with very basic dog walking which eventually snowballed into dog training. From there I’ve worked at pet hotels, dog training facilities, and fostered for many rescues. I am currently an active foster for BASH, Welcome Home Sanctuary, and Nine Lives here in the Bay Area. My goal is to create the most home-like experience for your pet while you are away, while prioritizing the safety and comfort of your pet. I keep a quiet home to help shy/nervous/anxious pets acclimate and also provide playtimes and owner-brought enrichments for our more rambunctious guests. Pets are allowed on furniture (given they are allowed on furniture at home) and are treated like family. I am comfortable taking pets of all ages with no major illness. I am comfortable administering medications, accommodating special diets, and separating pets that need extra space. I cannot wait to meet your best friend! Time availabilities: I am available for daycare drop offs 7-9am and daycare pick ups 6-9pm I am available for boarding drop offs starting at 9am and pick ups ending by 9pm. Child free home with two adults who WFH. I am available for drop offs and can be flexible M-F; weekends I like to take our guests on hikes to Pulgas Ridge or Stafford Park. Please be up to date on flea/tick meds! * I am not able to take human aggressive pets * Dogs are taken on two walks a day, offered as many potty breaks needed, access to water and toys 24/7, and play times with friends! For the safety of all our guests, dogs are separated during meal times and overnight using crates.
