About: I’ve owned pets all my life. I had a dearly loved dog that I saw through from puppyhood all the way to thirteen years old when she passed from cancer. I’ve had two cats since they were kittens, one of which had hyperthyroidism which required daily treatments. He has since passed away from kidney failure at seventeen. As a team with my sister, we personally trained our dog — and even the cats — using books to learn how to bond with the animals. I’ve not had a conventional job working with animals, but I am my friends’ go-to for pet sitting. I’ve done extended stay pet sitting (ten+ days) involving overnight care. I’ve handled daily medications for cats and dogs and worked on leash training for a friend’s dog as well as house training puppies. I currently live with an elderly cat and three freshwater aquariums. I’m available most days of the week and on weekends. I’m a freelance artist and my work is easy to time manage around. I volunteered at an animal shelter in high school, have had cats of my own since 2013, pet sat cats and dogs for friends and family, and have had experience raising kittens as well as experience in TNR.
